Gorgeous view!

Lovely and comfortable condo with a fantastic view of the grounds overlooking the Gulf. Sanibel Moorings is a beautiful complex with breathtaking botanical gardens around each corner of the complex. Condo had everything we needed and the staff at the complex were friendly and quite helpful. Will definitely return to this unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been staying at Sanibel Moorings for over 40 years now; since my parents started the family tradition in the summer of 1980. Now the tradition continues with our family and friends. It’s always an amazingly therapeutic and restful vacation on the beautiful Sanibel beach.

Great location, condo was clean and beautiful. Felt like home. Beach is beautiful and quiet with bonus of lounge chairs and umbrellas provided. Staff is lovely as wel. Would highly recommend you stay here!

Sanibel Moorings

Cute ground floor condo with a partial water view. Very well kept grounds, easy beach access, and a clean and well presented apartment. Resort staff kept in daily contact via txt, which was unobtrusive yet a nice touch. Beach towels and chairs/umbrellas all in good condition. 5 out of 5.

A Walk Down Memory Lane

Since I was 10 years old I have been visiting Sanibel because my grandmother had a place located in Periwinkle Park. When my grandmother passed away (2000)we had to sell her place and my parents have not been able to visit since. My dad is starting to have memory issues and my mom, whose mom owned the place on Sanibel, has muscular and joint problems. I was determined to get them to Sanibel soon and upon securing plane tickets I secured this place at Sanibel Moorings. This condo was PERFECT! It had everything we were looking for....updated furnishings and appliances, ground floor, pool literally 10 steps away, as well as the beach right in front of us. Even though we arrived after office hours the check-in process was easy and the entire stay the office personnel checked on us daily. Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided for FREE everyday and bicycles were available all day. Everything about this property was PRISTINE, GREAT PRICE, GREAT LOCATION, and GREAT SERVICE. In short my mom has asked repeatedly since returning if we can rent again as she would like to take her sister and do the "things" they used to do when visiting the island. I cannot thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to stay in the beautiful condo.

The property is exactly as described and had everything we needed for our week stay. The decor was perfect as well as the view from the lanai. Suprisingly, there were quite a few families with young children in October. Some were well behaved, some not so much so we couldn't enjoy the pool which is located next to the condo. Once the kids were gone, it was heavenly and serene. I would stay in unit 1011 again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location is perfect with a beachfront view and being poolside the condo is in desperate need of an update. The furniture is uncomfortable and worn out. The ceiling fans do not work. The master bedroom mattress was simply awful. We love sanibel moorings but would not rent this condo again.

Great Condo!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sanibel Moorings. The condo was clean, nicely furnished, and had a great location close to the pool and beach. Couldn't have been better!

Beautiful clean space

Even though this is a condo, it's more resort like. Beach Chairs and Umbrellas were provided every day and beach towels can be rented. You can exchange your bath towels for clean ones. The condo space was very clean and the kitchen was pretty well equiped except for cookie sheets and plastic glasses.

Perfect getaway after being home too long!

The Sanibel Moorings property is perfect and beautiful for those seeking a small, exotic private feel (vs large populated resort). We absolutely loved the ground floor view and easy access to everything. This condo was perfectly situated on the property and had everything we needed. Gorgeous beach. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Just what we needed!

This property was just as described. Clean and many newer appliances and features. We loved the location and could see the ocean from our windows! Watching the sunrise on the beach every morning was our favorite part. The availability of lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach was really nice! We hope to be back sometime soon!

relaxing stay

the property was clean, attractive, and the kitchen was well equipped. the view of the ocean was as advertised and the beach was a short 1-minute stroll with beach chairs and umbrellas included. It made for a very nice get away.
