The Blue Horizon is a private, family-friendly serene Sanctuary getaway. Filled with natural light and a wrap around patio, this Island guest house is surrounded by blue views from top to bottom. The Blue Horizon's state of the art glass windows show off Marathon and its true beauty. The surrounding porches are perfect for relaxing, drinking a cup of coffee or tea, or enjoying your favorite book. The beautiful rooftop access allows guests to stargaze the night sky, watch an early morning sunrise, or marvel at the sunset. The private pool and spa are great for laying in the sun, hanging out with loved ones, or cooking out dinner.

The home is fully furnished with 5 bedrooms, and an addition bed downstairs, and an additional pullout sofa.

Fantastic visit

We had a great stay in Marathon at Chris’ house. The house is great for a large group: we had 12 family members from kids to grandparents. The house is spacious and easily accommodated all of us. Nice open kitchen/living/dining room where we could all hang out and watch the sunset. Having bathrooms for each bedroom was so nice. We rented a boat from Coco’s, which is just across the bay (great experience), and docked it at the house—super easy. Made extensive use of the pool, and the decks at night. Went fishing, snorkeling, and out to the sand bar with the boat. The house has pool floats and chairs, and there are fishing rods and boating tubes. The house is situated on an interior harbor so it takes 10 mins to get out to the ocean side. It’s an ideal location for boating and also close to plenty of restaurants within about ten minute car drive. We visited Bahia Honda, key west, and a bunch of other sites. We particularly liked being on marathon, which starts to feel more remote and Caribbean than key largo or isla morada. Chris and his daughter were responsive and the house was great. We highly recommend! If we come back, we hope to stay here again!

Great Stay!!

Very accommodating to all our needs for our Family of 11 and our boats. Beautiful views. There is something here for everyone to have a blast (all ages). Throughly enjoyed Our Stay here. Hosts are Great! Thank you!

Coco Plum Paradise

On a scale of 1-10, I give this property a 10! Incredible, modern and luxurious home, surrounded by water. Each level of the home has amazing decks with views, and the rooftop decks offers views that are almost unimaginable. Property owners are incredibly responsive, access was easy and every thing about our stay here was FIRST CLASS! Totally AWESOME!

Spectacular Stay!

This house was everything we hoped for! We had 3 families visiting for spring break & there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and not feel crowded. The house itself is clean, bright & airy. We loved the sliding glass doors to let the breeze through; the elevator was great for getting our luggage to the bedrooms; the pool and hot tub were both great & warm; the teenagers used the pool table every evening & the kayaks during the day. Having the dock for the fishing boat was perfect as well! There are so many places to sit outside and enjoy the decks that are in every level. And let’s not forget the beds - SO comfortable! Being a new house on VRBO & not having any reviews, when we booked, we were a little nervous. But, this house was everything we wanted and more. Everyone is already saying they want to go back next year. Your hosts are also amazing! I had a couple of questions & Hannah was quick to reply, very friendly & happy to help. This house is worth every penny!!

Best Views in Marathon!

We just got back from staying a week at this world class property. I was nervous about being one of the first people to rent, but Hannah and Chris were exceptional hosts and the house was exactly as advertised. The views from the house are impossible to appreciate through photos. There were daily dolphin and manatee sightings, and we even saw a lemon shark and ray from the dock. The kids loved the heated pool and excellent fishing from the dock. The spa was perfect! The house was stocked with everything to make you feel like home. The rooms were great and the beds were comfortable. We have been renting houses in Marathon for 10 years, and this one is exceptional. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back!

My name is Chris Seckinger and I grew up in Marathon and graduated from Marathon High School. I have been to many different places around the world being a pilot and I always wanted to get back to where I grew up, Marathon Florida. The keys are unique as you might be aware of and there is incredible Fishing, Diving and water sports. The natural beauty is something I tried to capture when the architect, contractor and myself got together to build the Blue Horizon. The balconies are over 10 feet and are on the second and third floors. There is an ability to catch a breeze both in the morning and the evening depending on the side of the house you are on. The pool permits the ability to do laps and an attached spa allows relaxation. The house is open with the bedrooms all having great views. All the bedrooms (5 Plus downstairs) have their own bathroom with an additional room on the first floor with a bathroom. My children and family all enjoy the keys and the uniqueness of the location.

The Blue Horizon is unique because it permits incredible views from the porches and bedrooms. The surrounding porches permit a unique experience that captures the Keys at its finest. Additionally there is a 75 foot dock that may be used by guests and a pool that has a spa attached to it, all located on the property.
