⚓ Boat Dock Information – Please Read Before Booking



This home is located on Vaca Cut, one of the fastest-moving tidal channels in the Florida Keys. Currents can be strong and may change direction with the tides. Due to these conditions, this dock is recommended for experienced boaters only.



To safely use the dock, boats should be equipped with:



* A minimum of three cleats on each side of the vessel

* At least four dock lines (bow, stern, and spring lines)

* Proper fenders/bumpers to protect the vessel



Guests are responsible for ensuring their boat and docking equipment are suitable for these conditions. Inexperienced operators or boats without adequate tie-off points may find docking difficult, especially during periods of stronger current.



If you are unfamiliar with boating in strong tidal currents, we recommend making alternate docking arrangements or contacting us before booking with any questions.

Important Details & Disclosures

Pool heat/chill is available for $300 per week (plus tax) and $42.86 per additional day (plus tax). Requests must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Requests made within 24 hours of check-in or after arrival are subject to an additional $75 activation fee (plus tax) and no refunds will be issued if a specific temperature is not reached.

No Pets Allowed

Cancellation policy: A 3.9% fee of the entire booking amount applies to all cancellations

Parking: Narrow street with limited parking, especially for boats and trailers

The boat lift is not for guest use. There is dockage for up to a 30’ boat behind the boat lift.

Dock area: Strong currents in Vaca Cut – great for boating, not for casual swimming

Seasonal seaweed: Natural in the Florida Keys; may be present depending on the time of year

Max occupancy: Set by the City of Marathon and may not equal total bed count

Saturday–Saturday rentals may be required during peak season

Exterior security cameras for peace of mind that records both video and audio.

Signed guest agreement required prior to check-in (sent via DocuSign)
