Esta cabaña vintage llena de luz, muy limpia y brillante en el lago Michigan con una amplia playa tiene todo lo que necesita para una escapada relajante, disponible de mayo a octubre. Se alquila por semana, de sábado a sábado durante junio, julio y agosto, y para estancias más cortas en otoño, hasta octubre. Entrar a través de una zona ajardinada para abrir el concepto de estar y zona de comedor con techo abovedado. Mire hacia fuera desde la cubierta privada a la vista del lago Michigan. Cocina equipada con nevera, microondas, estufa y utensilios. Barra de desayuno y una pequeña mesa de comedor redonda, además de cenas al aire libre en la terraza. Parrilla de la barbacoa, flores y colibríes abundan.
Dos pequeños dormitorios: dormitorio principal con cama de capitán de matrimonio. El segundo dormitorio está vistiendo y sala de estar que podría ser utilizado para un dormitorio adicional de una sola persona, si es necesario. Cuarto de baño con ducha junto al dormitorio principal.
Limpio, sensación de cabaña con un montón de ventanas, la luz y vistas al lago. Ropa de cama y un montón de toallas para baño y cocina.
Los huéspedes siempre comentan sobre el hermoso acantilado que domina el lago. Se puede ver por millas, ver la puesta de sol y las nubes, en un césped sereno con sillas adirondack y sillones. ¡Este es tu patio delantero!
La cabaña está apartada de la carretera, y los jardines y las cercas se extienden a lo largo de ambos lados de la propiedad para mayor privacidad.

It is a lovely small cabin very thoughtfully equipped for a couple people. We appreciated the shelves & drawers creatively placed where you need them.The deck, lawn, and grill were convenient, and the stairs down to the beach sturdy.It's a great place to relax in.

Lovely property on the beach, close to town

This was a perfect little cottage for me. It’s comfortable for 1-2 people, and it’s on a section of private beach. There’s a larger public beach a mile away and downtown Saugutuck is just 10 minutes away.

Relax on the beach

My husband and I had a wonderful weeks stay. We spent time on the beach, enjoyed and evening fire, ate dinner looking at the lake while live music played next door, and just relaxed! We hope to make it back again next year, and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful Property

The cottage and its surroundings are wonderful and peaceful. One feels at home instantly because the hosts are fantastic and you can feel the love they put into it. It’s a perfect combination of being in a beautiful quiet place and at the same time near to many activities from hiking to enjoying the lake and exploring the nearby towns.

Amazing location!!

My family had the perfect vacation at this lovely cottage! Amazing views of Lake Michigan from the cottage! The private beach was restful, scenic, and easy to get to!! The views from the bluff, especially the sunsets are beautiful! The cottage is in excellent condition and we had everything we needed. We would definitely love to come back in the future!

The perfect beachfront getaway

We enjoyed every minute of our time at the cottage! It is the perfect size for 2 or 3 people and has everything you need. We spent two days walking the beach, sitting around the bonfire and enjoying nature. Our visit in October was fabulous and we definitely look forward to coming back in the summer to spend the days on the beach. Our hosts, Fran and Mort, were wonderful in their attention to detail and all of our needs!

Relaxation vacation!

We stayed at this little cabin for a week. It was just perfect for the two of us. The location, accommodations and hosts were all just fantastic! We would spend our evenings sitting in the red chairs overlooking the lake and just soaking in the view. Fran was the best hostess, giving us directions to a fantastic bakery and providing guidance on restaurants. We feel we've found the place we want to return to year after year. Plus, it's so close to all the towns you want to visit in SW Michigan. Thank you Fran and Mort for such a lovely cabin where we could relax, bike and enjoy our vacation!

Great Michigan getaway!

My wife and I had a great time at Fran and Mort's lake cottage. The home is cozy, but has everything that you need for 2-3 people. The cottage is located right on the water with easy access down to the beach. The beach can have some rocks, so water shoes are recommended if you plan to spend time on the beach like we did. We spent a lot of time in their adirondack chairs on the bluff overlooking the beach - super peaceful. Location of the cottage is very convenient and is just a few minutes south of downtown Saugatuck and other nearby cities. We would stay here again!

Charming Cottage RIGHT on the lake! Incredible Views even from inside cottage and on patio!

Fran and Mort were excellent hosts! If you only need 2 bedrooms this cottage is perfect and has everything you need. While cozy, you will spend all of your time outside in the amazing yard, on the bluff next to the firepit in the chairs overlooking the lake, or down on the beach! Views from the bluff are incredible without the stairway being to strenuous. Great new grill for cooking dinners while looking at the lake! Perfect location right between South Haven and Saugutuck. Lots of great restaurants and things to do! I highly reccomend this rental for anyone looking for a lake Michigan getaway!

This cottage is perfect for a couple- the views are spectacular including the sunsets. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. We spent the majority of our time outdoors on the deck or down at the beach.

Tulip Festival

My mother has had the Tulip Festival on her bucket list for 20 years. Fran and Mort could not have been in a more perfect location for us to enjoy the festival as well as enjoy the beauty of sunsets on the shores of Lake Michigan. The cottage had a fully furnished kitchen which was a blessing for breakfast and dinners. Most Tulip activities didn't begin until 10am so we enjoyed sleeping in and enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. The cottage was perfect for us, beautifully furnished and very cozy and Fran and Mort were just precious people. I would so very much recommend their cottage for any time of year (except the dead of winter-but I'm a Florida girl). Thank you Fran and Mort, you may see us again!

Hidden Hideaway

Here's a cute place for a couple. We really enjoyed our stay here. We liked the private beach feeling. Wish the weather would have cooperated. We would have spent more time on the beach. Having campfires were nice and watching the sunset was beautiful. We seen a fox run across the lawn a few times. Seen several kinds of birds. Hummingbirds and woodpeckers. And the gulls on the beach. The cottage we stayed in was just right for the two of us. We used the extra bedroom for our things. We mostly went out to eat, but when we did cook, the kitchen was fine. Grill too. This place is in the back away from the main road. Away from the owners home, near the lake. You can listen to the lake waves hitting the shore. You won't hear any traffic. A charming hideaway. Fran and Mort were wonderful hosts.

Excellent Lake Michigan Cottage!

Our cottage was just perfect for our anniversary vacation. Everything was as advertised and our owners Fran and Mort were very welcoming and helpful. Fran even provided firewood, kindling, newspaper and log lighter for our evening fires! The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything we needed including A/C, WiFi, cable, linens, all we needed to bring were the groceries! The lawn out to the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan is magnificent and the private beach was a pleasure to use. We’ll be back next year!!

Perfection!

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed in this very cute, very clean cottage. It is amazingly private. The bed is comfy and the cottage has everything you need. The sunsets are beautiful. We love being able to see and hear the water from the deck of the cottage or while sitting on the bluff. Our vacation was perfect! Books, beach, and relaxation. I highly recommend!

Relaxing Lake Michigan Beach Cottage Getaway

We had a great week in Fennville at this cottage home. It has great views of Lake Michigan, a great private beach, and peace and quiet. The home was the perfect size for the 2 of us to relax. It was very well supplied with everything we needed for the week. We cooked most of our meals on the BBQ, but on a couple inclement weather days, we were only minutes from Douglas and Saugatuck where some excellent restaurants are located as well as several other shopping options. I can't say enough of how relaxing this vacation was and how nice all of the amenities are. The beach was our main hang out with several hours of the day and night spent sitting on the lounge chairs watching the waves, swimming, kayaking, and strolling. The bonfire pit on the bluff was great to sit near and watch the sunsets in the background on chilly nights. I plan to return here for more relaxing days and nights next year. Thank you Fran for hosting us.

Beautiful setting and sunsets, private, convenient to 2 great towns, comfotable.

My wife and I had a great time here and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. I grew up in SW Michigan and spent a lot of time all along the shores of Lake Michigan. Fennville is great because its so close to both Saugatuck and South Haven. This property is special because of the beautiful private lot 50 feet above the beach, private stairs down to it, and a beach area that allows for mile long walks north and south. In the evening the fire-pit, sunsets, and lightening bugs are spectacular. The cottage is not large but it doesn't need to be. Its well appointed and comes with everything you need including a good quality bbq grill. Cant wait to do t again next year. JR Grapevine, Texas

We had a wonderful stay and this property was the perfect size for our family of three.

This property was the perfect size for our family of three. It was secluded and quiet which was just what we wanted. We spent many days on the beach which can easily be accessed by a set of stairs at the back of the property. We also throughly enjoyed the fire pit on the bluff overlooking the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, etc... and we cooked many meals at home and enjoyed them on the back deck. This property is also a short drive to both Saugatuck and South Haven if you are wanting to go out to eat or shop. Our only complaint is that the AC unit in the living room really does not cool off the bedrooms fully. There are two oscillating fans and they do help, but we were still a bit warm on the more hot and humid nights. Lastly, the mattress in the larger bedroom is AMAZING!

Cute Cottage in Charming Town

Had a wonderful stay at this cottage right on Lake Michigan! It is very cozy and literally steps down to a private beach with wonderful views for miles. Fran, the owner, is wonderful and available for local tips on restaurants and what to do. It is situated near town with easily drives to downtown Douglas & Saugatuck. The cottage is very clean with plenty of pillows and blankets if you get any chilly nights! This was my first time at the cottage and I'm already inquiring about a stay for next summer so I can enjoy the beach a little more.

We are happy to give you recommendations for dining and activities, and share our favorite places with you. It is fun to have people come and fall in love with our wonderful area. We are here to help if you need it, and we respect your privacy. Our house and the cottage you are reading about here are spaced far apart with the plenty of privacy at each. The property in several acres of space. The magic of being right on the lake and enjoying the light changes and reflections on the water during the day, and the stars and the moon at night makes this location such a favorite place to be.

We enjoy the area - this has been our home for 40 years. Saugatuck is not the typical small town. It is full of art galleries, activities at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, live music, a brew pub, wonderful history museum, beautiful surroundings. We are close to all the action yet completely peaceful and private and right on the beach.
The nice big grassy garden and bluff overlooking the lake are so welcoming during the long summer days and evenings, guests enjoy spending lots of time there, relaxing on the lake.

Hop in the car for a quick drive to Saugatuck State Park, shopping, coffee shops,great restaurants, art galleries, wineries, brew pub, live music and theater, and the great variety of planned events throughout the summer and fall in both Saugatuck and Douglas. There are many interesting communities to visit nearby, beautiful country roads to expore. If you love bicycle paths, they abound in the area.
