Quiet and relaxing. Spacious enough for you to slip sway for that much needed down time. The open living area is large enough for a family to gather for game nights it adjoins the dining area so that everyone can still be connected. Enjoy the spectacular beach views from the dining room ,living room and each bedroom. The spacious deck is steps from the water. The perfect place for enjoying time with friends and family. The master on the main floor boasts a luxurious king size bed, sitting area, dressing room big enough for baby crib, huge master bath with large tile shower room. Upstairs has a master and guest room each with own bathroom and personal balcony for that perfect peaceful start to the day. Top floor offers an office area in case you need to get away to take private calls or check emails during your stay. This room has sleeper sofa perfect for younger guests to have their own space. This home sleeps 10 guests.
Time spent here will give you the much needed break from fast paced life back home.

Perfect beach view. The house was super nice and had everything we needed. Our host, Paula, was very responsive! We will definitely rent this house again!

This was our second time staying in this beautiful home! Our family loves everything about it. There is so much room and well stocked. The owner is so great to work with, she is so easy to communicate with! Looking forward to our stay next time:)

FAMILY BEACH VACATION

House is amazing. Huge open area w/ beautiful views of the beach through the large windows. Just steps from the beach. Large porch facing the beach. WIFI worked fine. Kitchen well stocked w/ cooking utensils.

Family week

Location was excellent. House needs updating. Needs to address the wi fi situation. We had no cell connection unless we went outside. The area was fantastic, beautiful trails, less crowded and very quiet. Will definitely look for a house to rent at this location on our next visit.

Great house and location!

Beautiful house right on beach. We would've loved a coffee maker though. And it's always a treat to have some condiments like salt and pepper. Even a few extra kitchen trash bags. At high end properties these amenities seem basic. Wonderful location and we had a lovely time overall. Thank you!

Pictures don't do it justice

Me and my family were the first to arrive and I will say we were blown away at how wonderful the layout, space and views were. Having direct access to the beach, plenty of space for the rest of the family to hang out and play and the views were simply amazing. I've stayed at over 2 dozen vacation rentals and this was by far the most well stocked in the kitchen with cooking utensils and cookware. We are already looking at dates next year! I will also say, although we didn't use it, access to the clubhouse and pool is nice to have. This private side of the island is beautiful and much less traffic.

Family beach trip

The house is big and on the beach. The community is beautiful. The beds and couch are comfortable. The issues we had were that the internet did not work but we were informed of this was a problem they were having. But we were really looking forward to just staying at the house and not leaving the whole weekend. And we could not do that. We wanted to watch the first Ga bulldawg game so had to go to the bar to see it. The house is dated and the carpet is stained and dirty. If you stay here, make sure you bring all essentials even hand soap and extra toilet paper. And towels/beach towels. The owner is very responsive and friendly

Felt Misled

Very beautiful, accommodating house with sand and saltwater literally at your back door. Large windows allowing a view of the gulf from nearly any place in the house. The wide verandas provided hours of sights and relaxation. Unfortunately, Hurricane Milton came along while we were there. While the listing for the house declares that ‘internet is available’, you should know that it is provided by a cell tower somewhere with no more than one bar at the house. Forget accessing your financial apps, YouTube, weather apps, your home’s security system and text/email/phone calls are not reliable. In addition, all TVs in the house are smart TVs, requiring WiFi for their streaming content. There is no WiFi. So, there was no TV. We became very concerned as we were very hungry for information about the hurricane and couldn’t get it. All this should be stated in the house’s description in the listing just as a matter of fairness. Through text/phone calls to friends/family back home, we were able to get a fair visualization of the hurricane’s activity and decided to stay, rather than evacuate. Our resilience paid off and we made a good week out of it.

Below Average for St George

Been to St. George 3 years in a row. We love the island. Good: On the beach and 3 bedrooms plus a loft with a roll out couch. 1 room has a king, 1 room has a full size and one room has 2 full size beds. Nice shower down stairs when yo come off the beach. Close to the beach. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of TVs. Bad: Place was below average in cleanliness. We had to reclean all kitchen items and the bed sheets etc. We re-swept the floors and wiped everything down. You'll spend the first day cleaning. 2 rusty chairs and a rusty charcoal grill was all that you had below. Poor wifi reception. I had T-mobile and calls were impossible due to being so far down at the end of the island. Since the wifi was also weak it made communication very poor. We worked hard at taking care of the place, but we were hit for 250.00 because we had moved some couches about 2 feet to accommodate an exercise bike and we forgot to put it back. Place was cleaner and in better condition when we left than when we arrived, but it was not as important as putting the couches back. Won't stay there again though we do like St George.

Lovely stay with some minor inconveniences.

It was fun to find out this place was previously owned by Hank Williams Jr. and initially the house was great. Though we slowly ran into some hiccups I feel like we’re blown off and could have been resolved. The internet hardly worked and we understood a storm had rolled through the day before but it didn’t work at all after day 2, and after chatting with people around us it worked fine for everyone else. It wouldn’t have been a big deal but we had little kids that are hard to settle down and entertain at night. We did let the owners know and it seemed brushed off. We also noted bugs in the bed when we first arrived and had to wash everything. And bugs continued to come through the cracks or something we couldn’t figure it out. It wasn’t so much an inconvenience but felt like had the place been treated it wouldn’t happen. We’ve stayed at other places on the same island and never ran into before. These were like cockroaches.We loved the view and being right on the beach. The dishwasher was not good, we had to run things multiple times. The home is not very modern but was nice for our getaway. Beds where all comfortable and spacious rooms. Loved the lower deck had shower and area to rinse off sand. Overall we love going to Saint George Island and would recommend everyone to go though I’m not sure if we would return to this exact home again.
