The Point at Poipu offers oceanfront elegance with accommodations featuring spacious balconies overlooking the garden or the ocean. Relax and enjoy the separate sitting areas and fully equipped kitchens. The beautifully appointed master bath features twin sinks, separate shower and deep soaking bath. Additional in-room amenities include entertainment center, laundry facilities with washer and dryer and internet access. Air conditioning is in the bedrooms only.

Approximately 1300 square feet, this Two Bedroom Partial Ocean View features 1 King Bed in the master bedroom, 1 Queen or Twin Bed in the guest bedroom, Sleeper Sofa within the living area including a full kitchen, dining area and 2 bathrooms. Maximum of 6 occupants.

Fees Due Upon Check-in:

- At time of check-in, a valid government-issued photo identification is required that must match the guest name under which the reservation was made. A credit card for a $200 security deposit and a daily $29.95 plus tax resort fee will also be required (cash is not an acceptable form of deposit). Resort Fee includes
Wi-Fi, parking, fitness center, business center computer/internet, boarding pass printing and free local calls.

All our luxury resorts use a system called Allocate Upon Arrival which means the actual suite you will be assigned to is given upon check-in. These photos are a combination of all the different suites on site. If you have a floor, unit or building number that you would like to stay in, please do not hesitate to ask. The full-time on-site reservation check-in staff is happy to do their best to accommodate your request. Please note since we do not place you in an exact unit and this is done by the front desk staff, we cannot guarantee the requests, but will do our best to make sure they are accommodated. If your reservation is more than 4 nights you may be assigned to a new suite for housekeeping purposes. Keeping our suites up to luxury standards is our top priority.

The check- in time is 4 p.m. ET at the main building on-site, and check out time is 10 a.m. ET. Please contact the resort prior to arrival if you anticipate your arrival time would be later than midnight (resort local time). Arrivals after midnight may be subject to cancellation.

As you exit airport on Ahukini Road (570), go straight (west) after first traffic signal at intersection of Ahukini Road (570) and Kapule Highway (51). Continue for 1 mile. At second traffic signal at intersection of Ahukini Road (570) and Kuhio Highway (56), turn left. Stay in far right lane. Kuhio Highway (56) merges into Kaumualii Highway (50). Continue west for 6.6 miles. Look for signs to “Koloa-Poipu.” At intersection of Kaumualii Highway (50) and Maluhia Road (520), turn left into """"Tunnel of Trees."""" Continue for 2.8 miles. At intersection of Maluhia Road (520) and Ala Kinoiki (Koloa-Poipu Bypass) Road, turn left. Continue for 2.7 miles. At intersection of Ala Kinoiki Road and Poipu Road, go straight to Pe'e Road. Continue on Pe'e Road for .3 miles to The Point at Poipu on your left.

Please note by purchasing this listing you agree that there may be a chance for an 'Upgrade' to your unit for a larger unit that will fit the same amount of people. If this is the case, we will upgrade your room without question, free of charge. Therefore, depending on the length of your stay and unavailability of rooms, you may be upgraded to a larger suite during your stay with us.

Prize location at Poipu

Awesome location in Poipu! This resort is a bit outdated, however, the location is awesome! We had a unit that looked towards the ocean (not ocean view on main floor) and had a big lawn in front of it, and the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail that goes along the coast line along the resort and connects other resorts (this was a beautiful trail and walk over to Shipwreck Beach and up to Makawehi Bluff. Along the other side of our unit was the main pool area. While we didn't use the pool area a lot, we used the hot tubs and loved soaking after a day of adventure! The location was close by beaches in Poipu which were great for snorkeling, boogie boarding and looking at the turtles that came to the beach. We even saw a monk seal nearby at Shipwreck Beach. We liked this location for doing things on the south side of the island, and while the unit and resort might be considered a bit outdated - the unit is very spacious, has wall A/C units in the bedrooms and breeze from the sliding doors off the balcony. The options of things to do at the resort looked fun, it just never worked for our schedule. The one downside: the parking is along one side of the resort so that the buildings can face out to the ocean and have an incredible view. This means that the walk to/from our unit was longer, even moreso when we went through the hallways in the buildings - during the daylight of our 2nd day I figured out that we were closer to the parking lot "outside" the resort by the trail, but it worked!

Terrific location, overlooking paradise

Wonderful stay at this perfectly located resort in Po’ipū. Grounds are immaculately cared for and the pool is wonderful. Made use of the grills located in the common areas which were clean and worked great. Enjoyed the beautiful lanai with views of the ocean and Shipwreck Beach and the wonderful breezes. Unit is a little dated, but clean and very comfortable. Mahalo for hosting us.

Beautiful setting

The grounds at this property were outstanding. The kids loved the pool and the koi ponds and amenities were perfect. The room unfortunately was a bit dated and in need of repair, but I suspect some are in better shape then others.

Great resort

We enjoyed our stay at Diamonds at Poipu point. Location is great! We could easily access Poipu Point Beach - 10 min walk or 3 min drive. See the turtles and snorkel. Walk the trail along the beach. Rooms were clean and the supplies were good since we were traveling via air. Plenty of trash bags, dish detergent squares , paper towels, starters dish soap and starter laundry soap. The plus was shampoo , conditioner ,lotion, toilet paper, towels, and tissues large amounts of each in each bathroom. Beach towels could be easily exchanged for clean ones as needed. There were water purification stations throughout the resort and the water was very good tasting. The staff were all very friendly and the owner and VRBO contacted me prior to the stay with check in info. We had a problem with ants the second day, some crumbs on the floor by my child :( , but contacted the front desk, housekeeping and they sprayed and set traps promptly and followed up promptly ( it is Hawaii and there are ants everywhere, but the hotel did address the issue immediately. ).
