Steps from the turquoise water!

Decompress instantly at this light and air-filled villa overlooking the ocean. Watch the sunrise as you sip your coffee from the wraparound deck. You'll feel miles from civilization, but Morning Glory is centrally-located and equipped with Starlink wi-fi. Explore the island or spend all day on the property, relaxing, snorkelling, fishing from the kayaks, and walking the beach. Later, settle in after a day of sun to watch movies on the 85" smart TV.

(Both bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a loft space, also on the second floor, where a queen floor mat can be laid out.)

Morning Glory can be rented in conjunction with Rum Dum, the onsite cottage, to sleep up to 10. This is a separate listing.

Perfection!

Absolutely love this rental. Plenty of space for the kiddos to live the island life. No neighbors, huge yard, great snorkeling off the beach and a very well equipped vacation rental. We will diffinatly be back.

Absolute stunner!

This place is literally heaven on earth on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The house is perfect, with huge windows everywhere and direct access to the beach. The outside areas are well appointed with useful outdoor furniture and a private thatched pavilion. The owners were extremely responsive. Book with confidence!

Paradise

The house is perched on a perfect stretch of beach for long walks, snorkeling, kayaking, and almost uninterrupted privacy. Inside, Rachel has created two lovely and comfortable seating areas —one with an enormous flat screen tv, the other looking out on the glorious expanse of sea and sky. Beds upstairs are comfortable. The kitchen is fully functional with a massive refrigerator and stove and full sized as well as toaster oven. We very much appreciated the reverse oxygenation water filter tap for drinking water, which allowed us to leave no traces (no plastic water bottles required)! The house is due for some updates and we understand from the excellent, helpful, and reliable property manager Tatjana that these are in the schedule. The house is kept immaculately clean by Rachel’s cleaning ladies. Towels are pristine white, beach towels are abundant. Water toys are also abundant from snorkeling equipment to boogie boards, paddle board and kayaks. The stars are incredible and the sunrises ridiculously beautiful. This is a place to live a dream! We were immensely happy here for a month.

The views can't be beat

We loved our stay at Morning Glory. We spent a lot of time just staring at the water. The beach was amazing and we rarely saw other people. It's hard to tell from the pics but there are rocks in the entry to the water, they are smooth enough to walk on but boogie boarding is a no go. We snorkeled and saw lots of great fish behind the house. There is plenty of snorkel gear and everything you need for the beach. House is well equipped and had everything we needed. It was quite hot and humid during our stay and the main part of the house never cooled down much, but the bedrooms were comfy with the fans and in room AC (they are a little noisy so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper). We had a glitch with the generator not turning on during the power outages. Local property managers were helpful and I understand host is working on getting it repaired. That was really the only bummer of our stay. Eleuthera is so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of options at grocery stores nearby. Eleuthera Farms was our favorite for produce and other food items. Restaurants definitely run on island time and were hit or miss, but everywhere we ate was very tasty. Most places took card, but a few were cash only (like the pizza place). Eleuthera has a saying that "it's not for everyone" and that is so true. If you are looking for a super developed place built for tourists, this is not it. But for an amazingly peaceful, tranquil, beautiful place, go!

Thanks for the feedback, Amber. So glad you enjoyed yourselves. For future reference, there are spots to boogie board a little walk down the beach or at French Leave Beach, about 10 min away.

I think of Eleuthera as the Sonoma County of the Bahamas, because of its agricultural history and the artists and nature-lovers it attracts. Little makes me as happy as being submerged in the blue water of the Bahamas!
