Scenic waterfront & lake view home w/ LARGE hot tub!

This home has lakefront views from the kitchen, living room, back deck & hot tub (water views vary by season & lake levels drop mid oct-may). Take a day trip to Mammoth Cave or enjoy the nearby Leitchfield Aquatic Center water park.

Fully stocked kitchen opens to a great room & dining area. Large covered screened deck & a 2nd covered deck w/ hot tub, bar seating, & outdoor shower. Family friendly with baby & toddler amenities. High speed internet for streaming movies or remote working.

Per Army Corp of Engineers, you may NOT get on the docks at the end of path, since they are private property. If you feel comfortable walking down to the water at the end of the path/near the docks, that’s ok.

We provide Corn Hole, Axe throw, big Connect 4, Ping Pong Table, Board Games, Puzzles). Please note, there is a security camera pointed at the parking area.

Great family trip!

We loved staying here! The house is set up well for a large family group. Everything had been thought of from a well stocked kitchen to backyard and lake toys. All of it made for a relaxing enjoyable stay!

Family Retreat

Life gets busy and this property provided the perfect opportunity for my siblings and our families to get together and enjoy some quality time! The property had everything we needed outside of clothes/food. The view of the lake and trees from the screened in patio offered all the beauty and experience of nature. Property also has a 7 person hot tub!

Great Cabin!

Cabin was as described in the listing, we had a great time! My favorite part were the different “zones” in the house. The kids could play on the back porch or the front living room, and we could shut the doors to the main living space. We were close without hearing every single noise!The mattresses in the “kids” room are more futon style, so we did end up with a different sleeping arrangement than planned. The walk to the lake was easy, and the outdoor amenities were perfect. Host was really friendly and helpful!

Kentucky adventure

Great option for a larger group. Lots of outdoor space. I think this could be a great place to go and just hang for the week if you aren't planning to visit anywhere else. Beautiful area, just far from stuff if you have other plans. I grew up in KY so the roads didn't bother me much, but several of the others with us comments on the curvy roads. If I was going to be in the area again I'd book again. Very well stocked!

Excellent in every way

We really enjoyed our stay and had a great experience. I haven't stayed in a lot of VRBOs, and maybe this is standard, but I was really surprised by the amount of on-site amenities. I mean little things like providing smores stuff, having some Truly's in the fridge, etc. etc. It was basically fully stocked, which I was not expecting. The host was wonderful. We had an unfortunate event right as we arrived: the power went out. Not because of anything in the unit, the whole area was out, and the host submitted a report to the power company on our behalf and kept us updated on the status until it came back on. It wasn't their fault, but they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience.

Great for groups!

We had a wonderful stay with 6 kids and 6 adults at this location. We only stayed one night since we were on a Girl Scout field trip to Mammoth Cave. This is such a great property and I can’t wait to bring my own family back to stay - I would absolutely rent this property again. We had every amenity a group of people could need or want at this rental. It was comfortable, well equipped, and easy to find. Definitely recommend.

Family Gathering

We stayed with our family, my sister’s family, and our dad. There was plenty of space, and so many fun things to occupy everyone. Communication with the host, Sarah, was so easy and she responded immediately to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone with kids of an any age. Well stocked and beautiful location!
