8 adults. This place was 2 blocks from Main Street. We all had our own rooms/bathroom. Plenty of outdoor space. Plenty of parking for 4 maybe 5 vehicles. House was perfect. Host was available and responsive. Highly recommend. If your considering this property, and it’s available for your trip - BOOK IT!

Gorgeous house that kept the old school charm. Great location to be a home base for exploring Fredericksburg then a great set up to hang out at the house with your group after. The host was very helpful and made everything easy. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful home - the photos actually under-represent the amount of space on the property both inside and out. Big beautiful beds and rooms. Extremely short (2 min) walk to main street, and right on the main part. The host was spectacular, promptly replying to our questions regarding restaurant and activity ideas, despite our stay being in the middle of the Thanksgiving holiday. She even reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the house decorated for holidays or fall. 10/10 stay!

Girls weekend in Fred

A group of mom friends who had so much fun relaxing and being together in a beautiful home that was walking distance to the main road. Highly recommend staying in Melanie’s property! She was so easy to communicate with and the home was comfortable and clean and beautiful.

Amazing property

This was an amazing place to stay. Great location close to downtown. House was beautiful, comfortable and had all the comforts you have in your home. Property manager is the owner and she was amazing. Gave great recommendations and made the stay so easy!!! I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again!

Girls weekend trip before the school year kicks off

We had an amazing stay! This house makes you feel like you are staying in a part of history. All the charater and details displayed around the house really give a period feel. All the personal recommendations given by the host were great.

The perfect getaway

I’ve always dreamt of being able to stay in a 100 year old home and this was absolutely amazing. So Many wonderful, small touches that made our stay perfect. The charm of this house has totally been preserved. Definitely a must stay in Fredericksburg!

A wonderful stay in a lovely historic home

This beautiful historic home (1903) is a perfect base for exploring Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. We chose it for its location and its size (we were eight in total, and included grandparents, adult children, and a 3-year-old). It is easy walking distance to Main Street and its restaurants, wineries, and shops. The house is beautifully appointed, with close attention to detail. Each of the bedrooms is spacious, the beds are quite comfortable, the bathrooms, which vary in size, are well-stocked with good towels and very nice toiletries. The kitchen is well laid out and very well equipped, and the living room is great for lounging around. The hostess is absolutely marvelous! She fielded all my questions promptly, offered great suggestions for things to see and do and places to dine, and checked in regularly to make sure everything was as we wished it to be. She made us feel very much at home at every turn. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier stay, or for a more attentive and conscientious hostess. A fantastic find!
