This elegant vacation home features vaulted ceilings, a stacked stone fireplace, and a 4-season room/den with a flat-screen TV and great wooded views. All 4 spacious bedrooms are stylish and comfy, with chic tiled bathrooms featuring walk-in showers, a soaking tub, or dual vanity sinks. The chef's kitchen is fully equipped for tasty meals. Relax on the large patio with a fire pit or unwind with ping pong and a movie. Explore nearby parks, cafes, and nightlife for a memorable stay!
THE SPACE
"Luxurious" is the perfect word to describe this home’s gorgeous common social spaces—and yet the lush furnishings and décor have also been hand-selected with a focus on keeping things cozy and comfortable throughout. We’re sure you and your guests will find the living room a regular gathering place, with its amazing stacked stone, wood-burning fireplace—with a gas starter—and breathtaking cathedral ceilings. The cherrywood floors add a richness to the space, too!
Bring a glass of your favorite beverage and step through the sliding glass doors to enjoy a superb 4-season room/den with a large flat-screen TV and plenty of seating options. You’ll also have magnificent views of the surrounding woodlands. Back inside the chef’s kitchen, there are all the essentials for making excellent vacation meals, including top-end stainless-steel appliances and a granite-top island for prepping or simply chatting around.
Upstairs, there’s a great flex space—use its in-home office amenities or hang out with the kiddos or challenge friends and family to a lively game of ping-pong on the full-size table. We should mention that this home is also pet-friendly—just let us know in advance if you’re bringing a beloved pet.
In each of the 4 super-comfy bedrooms, we use only high-quality bedding and linens to ensure a cozy, sound sleep. They all have stylish furnishings and décor, great lighting, and lots of storage space.

The luxurious primary bathroom is highlighted by a tiled walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and stone-top dual vanity sinks, while the other full bath also has a walk-in tiled shower and deluxe vanity. The half-bath is nicely appointed and has all the necessities. There’s also a laundry room upstairs with a high-end washer and dryer to handle all your laundry needs.
There’s nothing but the extraordinary beauty of nature surrounding Pete’s Place. The 1.7 acres of property are blessed with some of the Midwest’s most glorious trees, flora, and fauna. When you grab a seat on the patio (there’s a nice outdoor dining set there), you’ll be swept up in the peace and tranquility, along with the birdsongs all around you. For the times when sitting by a firepit with a drink in hand is what you want, we’ve got you covered there, too!
Given Pete’s Place is in Sawyer, Michigan, one of the most charming of all eight culturally-rich Harbor Country towns, you’re also just a few minutes from Cherry Beach, with the opportunity—whenever you and your guests are in the mood—to head over and enjoy one of Lake Michigan’s most popular crystalline-sand beaches. There are also numerous nearby parks, one of which is particularly stunning: Warren Dunes State Park, featuring hiking- or biking trails galore, plus plenty of water-related activities to explore, including boat, kayak, jet-ski, canoe, and paddleboard rentals. You’ll also be super-near acclaimed art galleries, antique shops, boutiques, and restaurants, as well as coffee shops, brewpubs, and wineries.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing.
