Welcome to The Silver City Cabin. Take it easy at this unique tranquil getaway. This cozy cabin is nestled in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Silver City is hub for hiking, fishing, and ATV riding.

This unique cabin overlooks Rapid Creek and sits between Hill City and Deadwood. The garage has been converted into a recreation room with a foosball and ping pong table. Sip your morning coffee and enjoy the view.

This cabin was a beautiful spot for our family to stay while exploring the Black Hills! We enjoyed the games, creek access, and the rabbit who was always somewhere to be found in the yard. If we are ever back to the area, we would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed the experience and the house was beautiful and rustic with appropriate modern amenities. The only downside to our trip was the heat, it ended up being really hot during our time and even the fans weren’t enough to keep things cool upstairs. We had an older member to our party, so that became a little challenging but nothing a well placed cooing unit in the main living area wouldn’t solve. The hosts were very nice and ready to help. Great experience overall! Thank you!

Wonderful place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is gorgeous. You can walk down to the creek and my son found some garnets in the hill to the east. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans and everything else. We loved the outdoor seating and fire pits. The beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this place!Some notes:1 Make sure to screenshot the check in instructions because you will have no service when you first arrive. After that, the WiFi is excellent. 2 The 4th bedroom is in a separate little cabin. It’s very clean and cute, but all of the bathrooms are in the main cabin. Keep that in mind when deciding who to put in that bedroom.3 You must pass through bedrooms to get to either of the bathrooms. Communion is a must.

Property was listed as 5 bedrooms but there actually were only 3 plus a remote building:-a sunroom on the first floor WITHOUT any curtains that faced directly east without any room on 3 sides of the bed to even make the bed-a room basically in the basement with mulitple beds that provided zero privacy-remote building was basically a shed with NO plumbing and if you slept in there you had to walk to the main building in the dead of night (check picture as to how far the SHED was from the main building.-a room between the large basement bedroom and the stairway from the first floor with absolutley NO privacy where people in this room had people using the large multi bed room traversing.The picture below is directly from the listing but this room DID NOT EXIST this was the shed..There was only one working TV which was in the game room garage.The water pressure throughout was severly lacking and the hot water tank did not have the capacity for the potential occupant load listing and caused people to delay and or avoid showers.The upstairs shower had a full handicap bench that limited room in the shower.The living room had one chair held together with clear packing tape and another with the vinyl seat ripped.Kitchen was well equiped and there was a lot of wildlife to view.
Room did not exist at the property! ...was a remote building from the main..this picture was copied directly from the listing!

Kaylee was an amazing host! Responded quickly to any questions I had. Location was perfect. We were traveling with teen boys and the game room was perfect!! Would definitely return to this property.

Excellent location if you're wanting to get away from it all. The garage was a hit with the kids, as was the stream within walking distance. It's a bit of a drive from Rapid City, so the only thing I would do differently is hit up the Safeway for food supplies on the way up. Would highly recommend SUV or similar vehicle if you want to drive directly up to the door, though there is a parking space within walking distance if you have a low clearance vehicle. Best communication with a host that I've ever had.

This was a perfect place for our weekend family getaway. Very remote, perfect place to unplug from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The stream near the property was the best. Nothing like enjoying your morning cup of coffee, watching the sun rise, and listening to the sound of a gentle stream. Plenty of space for all 7 of us. Would definitly stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!
