Not a better location for a game at Wrigley! Less than 5 minutes and you can see the field at the end of the street. Felt safe. Very clean. Had a keurig and a drip coffee machine. The bed seems to be a platform bed and was as comfortable as other reviews mentioned and this is coming from someone who uses a firm bed. Couch was comfy though. Loved the tv and full kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Also, equidistant from both airports and many attractions. Host was very responsive in communications.

Unable to contact owner on check in. Could not enter apartment as door was frozen shut. Had to stay at alternate site. Ants were noted on floor on 2 nights. Apartment too cold with inability to directly control heat. VRBO could not contact owner to get credit for inability to enter apartment on first night. Damaged wallpaper by shower door in bathroom

We’d like to clarify several inaccuracies in this review. The apartment was accessible at check-in. The door was not frozen; it simply required a firm pull, which was later acknowledged. The unit was available and functional, and we remained reachable throughout. Heat is shared with the building and maintained at a comfortable, consistent temperature, as disclosed in the listing. No pests were reported during the stay or found before or after checkout. Any bathroom wear mentioned is cosmetic and does not affect use. This review was submitted after a refund request was denied for a stay that was available and usable. We encourage guests to contact us directly during their stay so concerns can be resolved promptly.

Perfect location to stay in Wrigleyville. Just two blocks away from the ballpark, and easy to get in and out of Cubs games. Plenty of places within walking distance for food and entertainment beyond the Cubs, and the drive to and from downtown is not bad either. Space is cozy for 2-3 people, and is well kept. Parking is a bit limited on the street, but the owner does provide options for either daily parking tickets or offstrett

Location Location Location The apartment was one block from Wrigley Field. Beautiful neighborhood. Apartment was very clean and had all that we needed. If you are using the off street parking, do not bring a big vehicle (like a full size truck) Space is tight but great for regular size vehicle. Would stay again.

Home was exactly how it is listed. Very clean especially for a basement unit. Location was awesome for catching a game at Wrigley Field & exploring the area on foot. ONLY downfall was the bed was terribly uncomfortable. It would be a 5/5 if not for the bed. Would definitely recommend!

Great location for sure

The location to everything was fantastic. HOWEVER, Bed was like sleeping on cardboard, we laughed! Grate to cover ac all rusty an easy fix, wallpaper in bathroom coming off wall, some outlets no covers, bath mat in tub gross. You could really update this place to be cute/ better in one day.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the fantastic location of the property. We were surprised by some of your comments, as the bed is a standard, newer mattress and hasn’t been an issue for other guests. The AC grate and wallpaper are minor cosmetic items that don’t affect the quality of the stay, but we do keep up with ongoing maintenance and appreciate you pointing them out. The bath mat is replaced regularly and outlet covers are checked between guests, so we’ll certainly review those again. We strive to provide a clean, comfortable space that matches our listing photos and description, and we feel this review does not fully reflect the overall guest experience here.
