The host made sure to communicate any changes that occurred. The place was quaint and cozy. We enjoyed it. Especially the beach view.

Home was cozy and clean. Host was great through it all responded within a reasonable time frame. Only had one issue about it and it’s not even that big of an issue and that was the bed in the master was hard but other than that it was a great stay. Definitely will return.

The room photos were inaccurate about the size. This place is tiny. I would not stay with more than 6. There was a broken outlet with wires exposed. The door doesn’t have a second lock on the inside. They ordered new furniture to be delivered 8:30 in the morning on Saturday of our stay without disclosing before check in that this would be done. The property owner refused to offer a discount on our stay after this unfortunate occurrence. The only nice thing about this place is the view.

We take pride in our home and all pictures exactly match, we even have a floor plan in our listing. We reserve the right to access the property for essential repairs that ensure the continuation of our services. The previous guest caused damage to the only sofa in the unit, requiring an immediate replacement. We informed the guest one day in advance about the delivery, scheduled during normal business hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, on their check-out day (by 11:00 AM). Unfortunately, the delivery was declined, and the door was shut on our staff. While we could have escalated this matter, potentially involving authorities, we chose patience and understanding. We love sharing our home with families like yours, but we are a personal vacation home, not a hotel with unlimited resources to accommodate refunds or complimentary stays.

Worst Stay Ever

The Victorian is a good secure place to be. Security guards checked everyday to make sure everyone there had a wrist band on. But as far as the unit we had it was not the best. It was hot the whole time because a/c unit is old and needs a new one. My husband had to change the filter and try to clean out some of the unit to get a little cold air. Staff brought us a fan but had no stand, rigged it up to a chair. The next night they brought us a new one.Maintenance came and put Freon in it which did not last long. Door pad lock didn’t work so maintenance had to come work in it. Don’t have enough towels so had to call to get some more. Room wasn’t ready at 4pm , 6pm , or 7pm when we got there. So we left and did not get into our room @9:30!!!!! Absolutely they worst VRBO we’ve ever had. Will not be staying there again.

Galveston

When entering and viewing then realized their was not enough beds as the pictures showed and we had to use the sofa bed to accommodate everyone but it was stuck and my dad had to fix it before use. There was not sheets for the sofa we had to wait almost 3 hours for linen to be brought after contacting them twice. The ac did not cool the house at all we discovered the air filter was massively dirty so we changed the filter and notified them also there was only 5 towels for a group of 9 people there was not any beach towels as the descriptions stated we had to ask for that. The house rules required us to load the dishwasher and wash so the housekeeping couldn’t charge more to wash dishes but there was not any soap to use. We were on the 2nd story and the elevator that was there was broken so we had to climb four flights of stairs to bring out stuff to the room. After notifying them about the ac they claimed they reset it and turned it down to 69 which the second night was cooler till about 11pm then again it was hot. Now they did give me a 10 dollar Starbucks gift card for changing the filter. Compared to the pictures the overall place was smaller then what we assumed because the pictures were different their was one room with a full size bed and another room with a full size bed and the third room was suppose to be a twin bed with twin bunk beds it was not it was like a closet with bunk beds and a tunnel bed. Very uncomfortable to relax
