Completely Renovated 1953 Mid Century Home
This beautiful upscale mid century modern home is located in South Palm Springs in the Tahquitz River Estates neighborhood. Downtown is approx. 1 mile away making it extremely convenient to popular bars, restaurants, shopping and art galleries. Just a couple of blocks away is the Tahquitz Creek where many locals and visitors enjoy long walks. The newly attached casita is not available to other guests during your stay.
We will be available in case of emergencies and to answer any questions you may have.
The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and it is within 1.5 miles to the center of downtown.
Guests will have full access to the main house. Please NOTE: This is not just another vacation rental, this is the owner's home away from home. Please treat it as your own home.

The additional casita will remain vacant during your stay.
The main bedroom has a comfy king size bed, desk, dresser, smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower has a door to access the backyard (perfect for those long days by the pool!)
The guest bedroom has a queen size bed, side tables, and a smart TV.
The TV room (which can also be used as a 3rd guest bedroom) features a comfy sofa that converts to a queen size bed with a high quality mattress. This room is perfect to use for movie night or as an optional 3rd bedroom. There's also a door that opens up to the backyard/pool area.
The guest bathroom is located in the hallway between the guest bedroom and TV room. It also has a walk in shower. We do not have bath tubs in any of our bathrooms.
This home has been completely renovated with designer quality features,
modern decor and includes everything you need during your stay. The backyard is beautifully landscaped, fully enclosed and surrounded by tall privacy hedges and has wonderful views of the mountains which makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the pool and spa.
** Need additional space? See our listing for this home that includes a separate Casita (Modern Olive 4). Please note...if you book under this listing (Modern Olive 3), you are only booking the house with the 3 bedrooms mentioned above. The newly attached casita is not included and will not be available to other guests during your stay.
SEPARATELY INVOICED - POOL/SPA HEATING:
** Optional Pool Heating Fee of $75 per night (recommended mid September thru mid May)
** There is a flat rate pet fee of $75 plus tax (doggies allowed - 2 max). Please do not let them on the furniture or in the pool.
The above fees will be charged separately through the booking channel 1-2 weeks prior to check-in.
* Stays over 28 nights are not subject to the 12.5% Lodging tax, but will require an additional mid stay cleaning fee and may be subject to utility fees. Please inquire about long term stays prior to booking.
