$ 300 de descuento en nuestra última semana del verano: 24 de agosto. (Comenzamos a reservar el 1 de septiembre para el próximo verano, para darles a nuestros vacacionistas actuales tiempo para reservar).

¡A todos les encanta esta cabaña de dos dormitorios completamente renovada 'High View', con vista a la entrada de Saco y a solo un tiro de piedra de una de las playas mejor calificadas de Maine! Se encuentra en una calle lateral y al lado de la desembocadura del río Saco.

También tenemos una casa de 3 dormitorios al lado que también alquilamos si necesita acomodar a varias familias. Ver aquí vrbo # 370618

Maravillosamente decorado y renovado. Tercera propiedad de la playa. Nuevas ventanas en 2015, residieron completamente en el exterior en 2016, pintaron el interior en mayo de 2017, pisos nuevos en 2018.

Hill's Beach es muy tranquila y lo suficientemente lejos como para alejarse de todas las playas turísticas. En su mayor parte, las únicas personas que frecuentan esta área de playa son las que viven en la calle, aproximadamente 10 casas. ¡Entonces la gran playa de arena es casi tuya!

¡Con una ducha exterior, puede enjuagarse con agua tibia después de salir de la playa!

Si tiene niños (como nuestra familia), disfrutará de la tranquilidad de estar en una calle lateral con muy poco tráfico y el amplio patio para que los niños corran y jueguen mientras esperan que vaya a la playa. Una vez en la playa, encontrará una vista panorámica majestuosa de las islas y un embarcadero ... ¡Es fabuloso!

Nota: Ropa de cama no se proporcionan. El contrato de alquiler firmado debe enviarse después de la reserva.

Half a block from a quiet uncrowded beach!

Wonderful stay at a nice property, half a block from the beach. Quiet apartment just steps from a quiet beach, nothing to do but relax and take walks.

Perfect spot

Absolutely perfect for our annual family vacation! The house had everything we needed, was in a great location with ample parking. The beach was amazing, it was so quiet and relaxing. It was exactly what we imagined and more!

Wonderful, relaxing week at HighView!

Thank you for a great week! The location could not have been better-steps to the beach but easy drives to activities, restaurants, etc. The apartment was super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. I loved being able to bring my dog-she enjoyed the beach,too! Thanks again!

Great Maine cottage steps from beach

I would highly recommend this property for families with children of any age. It's even a perfect getaway for adults. We've been renting at Hills Beach since 2001, when we would bring our baby. There is no surf at Hills Beach so it's perfect for toddlers and young children. It's also a perfect, quiet spot for adults to relax. The only people on the this part of the beach are those staying in the few houses on the street so it's never crowded. Now that my children are teenagers, they still love going to Hills Beach and visiting the other attractions in the area. This cottage was perfect for our family of four. It's a plus that the owner allows pets, so we don't have to board our dog. We had rented other houses directly on the beach but chose this cottage on a side street a couple of years ago so we could bring our dog. It's only a couple houses away from the path to the beach so you can go back and forth to the house easily. We'll be renting this cottage again this summer. The house has all the accommodations you would need and plenty of room for 4-6 people. There's also an outdoor shower so you can rinse the sand off before going inside. It's close to Kennebunkport, Portland, Old Orchard Beach, and other tourist attractions.

Ideal property for small family

Beach Escape

Wonderful overall experience staying at this property. We had quite a few cloudy, foggy days during our stay. We were grateful this property had plenty of amenities to keep us comfortable as we spent more time inside than planned given the weather. We hope to return to this spot in the future to enjoy sunnier days!

Comfortable and in a great location!

Great experience and wonderful location. Owner’s were super easy to work with. Just a very short walk to the beach. Beach is super family friendly. Nice porch to watch the sun set. Would be happy to return.

Hills Beach is the perfect Maine spot

The location of this property is the real gem! A serene, private, quiet beach with warm water and perfect for children. The walk to the islands at low tide is a treat. Kayaking, boating and paddle boarding all near by. Downtown Biddeford and Saco have fun places to visit as well as delicious and reasonably priced restaurants. Day trips to York, Kennebunk and Portland are all easy if you want to explore more of Maine. Parking in driveway is great for 3-4 cars, plus a garage. Having air conditioning to sleep on the hit days was great also. The cottage however, was a bit of a disappointment. It was a small apartment over the garage that had a college dorm feel. We expected to bring our own linens, but everything else that was fabric was covered in grime. The beds only had stained mattress pads, which is unacceptable for $2300 per week. A proper mattress cover like what hotels offered would be more appropriate. Visible dirt on futon cover, potholders, scatter rugs and bedspreads seemed to take away from the newly installed linoleum floor and white painted walls. I spent the whole first day doing laundry to clean the above items. On a positive note, the washer and dryer worked well. Barely enough supplies in kitchen and leaking refrigerator made keeping food and meals tough to cook. Another downside is the use a time consuming charcoal grill - propane grill would have helped cook better meals, and more efficiently. I wanted to use the oven but it smelled like wet dog and was dirty inside. The cleaning woman was still there at 3:30 on our arrival day and was not even going to leave a roll of toilet paper for us. I am undecided about going back to this cottage since the location was amazing. Hopefully some improvements can be made in the future.

Great stay !

We loved our stay in Biddeford on Hills Beach. Very easy walk to beach and lovely quiet area....fun how tides go in and out...different beach all day long! Also fun to have our pup in cottage. Nice and clean cottage.too! Would return for sure.

Sea Escape Rocks!

This cozy cottage is in a perfect location, perfect for young children and pets. The property is clean and the owners feel like family, since this was our fourth year renting the cottage. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing week. We love walking the beach, renting a kayak to explore the near islands and riding our bike to Fortune's Rock Beach. Away from the big crowds

This is one of the cleanest house we stay in so far it is a nice quiet place with access to the beach we truly enjoyed every part of our vacation away from the big crowds we will like to come back if u want to go shopping and go where the crowds r ur only 10-15 min away

Maine Family Vacation

This was our first vacation in Maine and High View was a wonderful place to enjoy our week. It is just steps from the beach, as well as centrally located for short trips to Portland, Freeport and Kennebunk. We loved the uncrowned beach and the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Saco River. Low tide here is nothing short of amazing-one has the ability to walk about a half mile into the ocean. The apartment is adorable and very comfortable. We also appreciated being able to bring our 2 dogs along on vacation. We will definitely return to Maine and to High View!

Perfect getaway

My husband and I, along with our Chihuahua, just spent two fantastic weeks at this Hills Beach home. My family and I have been renting vacation homes from Maine to Florida, and many states in-between, over the past 16 years. This is the first review I have ever felt compelled to write. The house was very clean, well-maintained, and quite comfortable. The kitchen had all you needed for making dinner at home. There is a very nice outdoor dining set along with a charcoal grill. The beach was beautiful and quiet. It was a great walk out to both Basket Island and Stage Island when the tide was out. There are a couple of markets near by for those quick coffee or ice cream runs. Not to mention all the wonderful local restaurants in the area. We met Jonathan and two of his boys when we first arrived. They were quite nice and very pleasant to speak with. Jonathan was very responsive to any questions that came up both before and during our stay. Jonathan also rents out a three bedroom house right next door on the same property. My sister, mother, and nephew stayed there during these same two weeks. It was wonderful having them right next door. I can same the same great things about that house as well. We have already decided that we will be renting these same two houses again next year....I'd better hurry up and get that set up before the weeks we want get booked. The Cozy Cottage

My husband and I loved this cottage. Our boys, one and four loved exploring the ocean too. My son said, "My favorite part was watching fireworks from the beach!" We loved walking the beach and collecting shells, too. Our labradoodle enjoyed vacationing with us and was able to swim and walk the beach in the morning and evening. Great location and it really is a short walk to the beach!! We will definitely return:-) Thanks for renting out your cozy cottage!!

Great home in a peaceful beach community

My family stayed at High View for a week in July. We have been going up to Maine for years, but this year needed to find a new home that fit our needs (i.e. an 8 month old baby and a 80lb golden retriever). Stakes were high and our wish list was long. I'm so glad we took a chance on High View. Jonathan and Carrie were very responsive to our questions and made the booking process smooth. The home itself is great. Tastefully decorated, fully stocked with essentials for cooking, clean and bonus...baby proofed! It's located just steps to the beach, which is essentially private to the street. Low tide is incredible - you can literally walk to the nearby islands and explore. It's the perfect home if you have very young kids or older family members, as you can come and go from the beach as you please without having to pack everything up. The area itself is just beyond UNE, filled with lovely beach homes & cottages. The area even made for very serene and picturesque morning jogs before we hit the beach. All in all, it met our expectations and more. We hope to return next year!

I (Jonathan) grew up down the road. I still have family is up there that lives down the street. Our family loves coming up for a couple weeks every summer. It's a great get-a- way. So peaceful. Not a lot of distractions which creates great family time!

The smell of salt in the air, playing on the beach, fishing, swimming, walking to the island and regrouping as a family are our highlights.
