Born and raised in Illinois, I’ve spent the last 20 years of my life in the magnificent beauty of the Colorado Rockies. As an avid hiker, camper and backpacker, my passion is the art of coming back home to nature and I desire to share this with you! After raising my daughters here, I know these mountains like the back of my hand, and they have become a part of me. After spending the past 15 years in Healthcare Management, I am also passionate about the customer experience. My desire is to provide you with an experience within our home that will leave you wanting to come back year after year... To truly create a home away from home. I care about the details, and I care about your stay. Thank you for choosing me to be your host and guide in this beautiful Pikes Peak Region!

The Alpine Lodge on Pikes Peak is a part of a quaint, quiet mountain community. The home itself is set apart as it is on the end of the road, nestled into the pine with less than a mile of forest between separating the home and Pikes Peak Highway! The Home provides foot access to many local trails, including Ring the Peak Trail and Mt Esther Trail, and when your done with a beautiful day of hiking, you will only be driving 5 minutes to the Wines of Colorado or the Blue Moose for drinks, food, and good local company! If you are brining your children, both furry and human, there are great parks located just minutes away in Cascade, Green Mountain Falls and Woodland Park! The Woodland Park, Memorial Park, has views that will easily keep your full attention as your kids run and play. There are two dog parks I would recommend nearby, Bear Creek Dog Park and Red Rock Open Space dog park. For any supply run needs, Woodland Park has a Walmart, Safeway, and a Natural Grocers. I personally choose to utilize these locations versus going anywhere else. To sum it up, this area alone is sure to add precious value to your trip that is just hard to find anywhere else. I am positive you will fall in love with it just as I have!

You and your travelers will love the vaulted great room for gathering and taking in the surrounding alpine forest views from every window. With 4 inviting bedrooms, a 2nd living room with plenty of space to play or rest, a desk for the business traveler, 3.5 bathrooms with storage, closets in each bedroom and a walk in closet in the master, you will find all that is needed to cater to your wonderful Colorado vacation! Our home is decorated for you to discover the serenity of mountain living. Outside, you will find the wonders of Colorado no matter which direction you decide to adventure off in! We have thoughtful considered each detail to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
Upon booking, your Host and Mountain Guide Hannah will reach out to learn the details of your party so that we can prepare our home just for you and your stay! At arrival, you’ll find a kitchen ready for cooking with spices and oils. 2 large decks for soaking in the forest serenity. You’ll find ample seating, an oversized umbrella and a fire table to glow for your evening gatherings. There is garage to park your vehicle inside, along with ample outside parking. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer and detergent. Enjoy the live plants we keep in the home to warm up the atmosphere. Finally, light a fire in the wood stove and gather all around. You’ll have an ample supply of firewood to enjoy a true Colorado lifestyle.
