Nationals rowing trip

The Mermaid Cottage was just what we needed for our stay. Had everything we needed- having beach chairs and towels was great for our day at the beach. Location was wonderful- close to Publix and restaurants.

Lovely quiet neighborhood

We loved the two living spaces and outdoor areas. It was perfect for our varied ages. Close to food, beaches, shops,and parks.

Wonderful Place!!

Beautiful Cottage

This cottage was perfect for our stay. Beautifully decorated in a beach theme. It was in a great location close to everything we wanted to do. We had all the amenities that we needed. We will definitely be back! Absolutely loved it!

Real Gem!

Wonderful cozy yet spacious. Quiet little alley few steps away from the trolley stop. We did not realize how close and convenient it was until day three . Spent Easter holiday there and felt at home. Would definitely come back! Thank you!!

Awesome staycation

The property was cute, cozy and clean. The location was easy to find and close to Publix, the beaches, the marina, restaurants, lounges. The hosts were so pleasant and attentive. Response time was fast. My family and friends will definitely go back the Mermaid Cottage. I highly recommend.

Christmas at the Mermaid Cottage

I rented the cottage for my son and his family while they were in town for Christmas. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The house is immaculate and well furnished. The location is absolutely the best for activities at the beach or in Sarasota. I highly recommend the cottage and the host is very communicative and helpful.

Mermaid Cottage is a gem

My brother and I visited my aunt in Sarasota. Mermaid Cottage was a perfect location. It’s in a lovely neighborhood and is close to both the airport and the beach. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. Our host was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out how to lock the front door! Overall just a great experience. We will be back! Thank you!

Perfect Location for Sarasota Experience

We have been coming to Sarasota for many years and have stayed in different locations around the city, including on the keys. The Mermaid Cottage was exactly what we have been looking for with close proximity to the beach, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to get around to other locations. The location just over the north bridge to Siesta Key was ideal and allows you to be on the beach in less that ten minutes from leaving the driveway. It is also close to Tamiami Trail and makes it easy to get to other beaches or restaurants. The unit was just as described, clean, and stocked with what guests need for the visit. This visit was just for my wife and me, but is setup to accommodate a family or two couples which allows plenty of privacy. We would not hesitate to stay at The Mermaid Cottage again and hope to find some openings on the schedule to do so.

Awesome place to stay

My parents and I were very happy with the house, especially my parents. They thanked me multiple times for choosing this home. Good amount of space in the common area, both living rooms and kitchen. In the bedrooms, they were very comfortable. The location was great since it's close to a lot of places and the beach. We didn't get to enjoy the house as much as we did because we came to visit family for Thanksgiving but if it wasn't for that we would of spent our Saturday evening watching college football in both living rooms. We are considering to come back to this house for the summer time with a few more people. Thank you so much for the stay and everything else.
