The condo was clean and beds comfortable. The washer and dryer was convenient to have in the unit. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the birds and enjoying the breeze. Kitchen had pots and pans for cooking, which was convenient for meals in. Will definitely keep this property on our list for future visits.

Wedding Stay for 5 Adults

Nice property that we were able to book at the last minute when our other VRBO cancelled out. It was well located and well appointed for a family stay. The property was clean and there was lots of room for five adults. The outdoor covered and screened lanai was especially appreciated. The description online was accurate. If you plan on cooking make sure you bring all your condiments and spices as well as spare paper towels and toilet paper. There are plenty of cooking and serving utensils. We would stay here again - 5 night stay in mid April 2025.

Great location, perfect for where our events were for the weekend. However, it was a bit dusty, upstairs bathroom hand soap was empty, not enough trash bags, we had to wash the dishes prior to using them, dryer had hair and lint hanging from it once I opened it to use it. The community was quiet and nice. Lots of good food and places to check out.

Great location if you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. Many things to do within a 30 minutes drive on either side of the island. This unit needs many updates. Cabinet door hinges were loose in both bathrooms and kitchen. Downstairs bathroom shower floods. Light switches were a little confusing and some didn't work. Living room furniture could use a good cleaning. Unit gets very hot during the day, air conditioners only in bedrooms and they struggle to keep things cool in those rooms. Though there is a nice cross breeze in the evenings to help cool things down a little bit. We very much liked the property but wouldn't stay in this unit again until updates were made.

The property manager was not only helpful but nice and accessible. When we had a minor plumbing problem, the management responded immediately and the fix was made while we were sightseeing for the day. The location is perfect, a very close walk to the beach, and close to so many other attractions. I highly recommend this condo. We had a fabulous time!

View of the golf course was nice. Master bedroom mattress was terrible. Felt like a box spring. Master bedroom bathroom fan was uncomfortably loud. Two of the stairs to go up to second floor are cracked. Coffee maker needs to be cleaned or replaced. Slider door is almost impossible to move. Some beach stuff would have been appreciated. Overall a good place to stay for a few days not a full week.

A Hawaiian getaway from Covid

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With all the step you need to take to get to Hawaii is so worth it once you arrive at Turtle bay Resort! The unit is open and airy with the louvered windows, so much so that you can hear the waves crashing from the beach that is a short walk away. The Estates are welcoming, quiet and make you feel secure. The main level sofa & chairs have been ungraded and are very comfortable. As you sit on the Lanai you can hear laughter coming form across the golf course, there is Lai Lai restaurant that serves great food and drinks on the greens simply adding to the already wonderful time spent here. My family of 6 stayed comfortably for 10 night and found it hard to leave. I would definingly recommend the Estates at Turtle Bay for you Hawaiian vacation for family and friends. Mahalo!

It was a home away from home.Although we did not use the drawers and cabinets in the rooms, the dresser was wobbly which was kinda scary to me because I didn't want my kids and myself to touch it just incase the lamp upstairs fell over. The drawers of that dresser didn't work properly, another reason why I wouldn't have used it. The water pressure and just how the water came out in both showers was not to my liking at all. The shower upstairs kept only being hot or cold, nothing inbetween, no matter how slow I would be turning the knob to get warm water. So because of that it took me forever to take a shower. My husband though loves hot water so he was in heaven. The patio downstairs was heaven! I played games with my kids fresh air blowing through. There are 2 screen doors that could have been used to go in the back grass area but only one door worked which was a little irritating but not the end of the world. We loved how LeiLei's was right there! Probably our favorite feature of the stay😅. That and the pool of course! But actually the pool could be ALOT colder! That needs to change! I don't know why it's so warm🤢Other than that, we all had a blast! Gona book a stay again soon!🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is definitely pretty old, which is not necessarily bad in and of itself, but it was so dirty and disgusting. Stains on carpet and furniture. Dust, lint, grime everywhere.The AC is old and can not keep up. We were in a state of mildly sweating the entire time we stayed there. My wife hated it so bad that it seriously distracted from our stay which is a shame because this area of the island is paradise.

Too Hot From Texas

We absolutely loved the furnishings and quality of the condo except the air conditioners didn’t blow cold air at all. We drove back south and bought fans for each room the first day (and left them for future guests). We gave up on the window units immediately, they were useless so the condo was like a hot house. The porch also has termites - my daughter attempted to sleep on the sofa since it was cooler downstairs but woke up with termites on her face. The proximity to Lei Lei’s and the pool were perfect and we were here for the outside anyway so we still had a blast. Spring for some window units and treat the porch for termites and this unit is golden.
