We loved the location, there are some many restaurants and shops within walking distance. All the rooms were so comfortable and felt like home. The kids loved the house and the rooms. It’s a wonderful place to stay and hope to stay there again the next time we are in DC!

Our stay

This was the perfect home for our company retreat, with space to work and relax. We’ll definitely book it again next time we’re in town. A special bonus was how responsive the hosts were: when we ran out of coffee, they delivered a whole new bag within 10 minutes of our message!

Great location in a fully updated & fully stocked townhome!

We had a wonderful 1 week stay over Thanksgiving. The location is amazing as everything is a 5 minute walk away. We’ll be back!

Best VRBO I have ever stayed in!

This properly was newly renovated and absolutely immaculate! The owners left no detail untouched from the remote control fireplace to cozy throw blankets. The location is perfect for sightseeing. I was so spoiled with this property, I don’t think any other property will ever match my new expectation.

Absolutely the best place to stay with family

This was an absolutely beautiful property close to the national mall, train station, subway, grocery store (right next door). The host was wonderful and responsive to our needs and offered assistance for anything we needed. Check in was so easy. There were 7 of us and we wanted for nothing. We were able to cook some of our own meals which was wonderful for all of us.

Location! Location!

We had an amazing stay at this property! Everything you see on the site accurately describes this property. It was beautiful, was in great condition, love how updated it was and had plenty of space for the eight people in our family. We absolutely loved the location of the property and how convenient it was to the capital and other landmarks in DC. Even though there was street parking for this property, we never really had an issue finding a spot. We had a few minor issues while we stayed at this property, however the owners dealt with the issues in a very timely manner and were always very nice. We really appreciated that they had plenty of supplies to do laundry and even had coffee/tea available for use. If you get an opportunity, you really must stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing property in a fabulous location with terrific hosts!

This house was just wonderful for Christmas week with our family of eight: four bedrooms, each with en suite bath, on the second and third floors, with living room (with gas fireplace), large eat-in kitchen and half bath on the ground floor, and a self-contained apartment in the basement (with its own laundry facilities). Incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, the house has everything a group could possibly need for short or long term stays. In addition, there is a small grocery next door, with Trader Joe’s and several restaurants nearby. The Capitol is three blocks away, with the Smithsonian museums in easy walking distance. The metro (Capitol south stop) is only four blocks away, making all of DC and beyond accessible.The hosts were extremely kind, responsive, and accommodating, even loaning us their fondue pot for Christmas Eve. We can’t say enough about this lovely home; Mike and Joan are the best!

Celebrating our 60th birthday like royalty

Oh my goodness……where do I begin? We were the first occupants of this beautiful establishment! The pictures are an exact replica of the house…No photoshop here! The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and in a great location. We were greeted by the owners upon our arrival and once they discovered my twin and I were celebrating a milestone birthday, they returned with a bottle of Rose’. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We sat outside in the front yard and enjoyed the private deck on the 3rd floor. This house has everything you need. We had complimentary Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, etc. Conveniently, there is a corner store next door! We walked to the library of Congress and to the Capital. This home is perfect for a family or friends who want to be near the DC attractions but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you Mike and Joan for making our trip one we will cherish forever!

Our home is just a few blocks from the US Capitol building and the view down East Capitol Street to the Capitol is stunning. Our location is close to iconic landmarks, public transportation, and great restaurants. Can't beat this location for staying in DC.
