The house has been designed with several open large spaces & living areas, and makes it perfect for groups of friends and families, providing privacy and comfort for all guests.

This is a gorgeous home in a great location. The pool is small (beware of golfers coming to retrieve stray balls), but perfect for a dip. Joustine is a wonderful concierge, he arranged very enjoyable outings and transportation for our group of 10. He also arranged a wonderful in-home cook (Emily) for breakfasts and dinners. We feel very lucky to have spent the holiday week at Casa Gozo. Thank you!

Super Nice Villa

The house is modern and interior is beautiful. The interior is very clean and organized. However, the cleaning crew might have missed the terrace and the pool. There were ants at the terrace especially around the furniture area. The pool was also not clean with many bugs, leaves and a few crabs in the pool. Overall the stay was very pleasant, except did quite some cleaning on our own for the terrace,

Fantastic stay, all we thought it would be and more

The pictures really are what the place is like. The house itself really is stunning, sitting with a backyard of golf course essentially and a short walk to the beach. Several rooms in the main house and a slightly inconvenient 5th room a short walk across the garage (still attached, but visitor quarters). The outside covered patio is a dream - plenty of space and a small pool.Hacienda pinilla is a great community to be in - very safe, has hiking trails, horesback riding, a lot of beach options, and a beach club. We saw the family of howler monkeys several times, which was a treat to see for the kids.The beach and the exposed rocks really depends on tide. Regardless, it's a beautiful site. The location is very central in Guanacaste and a short drive to many beaches. The morning crew was incredibly nice and helpful - setting up breakfast and cleaning to start the day. It was a relaxing, wonderful vacation, enabled by a fantastic crew at Casa Gozo.

Costa Rica Holiday Trip

We recently rented this property in Hacienda Pinilla with a group of 10 people. The house is beautiful and well appointed, and overall location is great as long as you have a car (rental or driver), also super safe within 2 sets of gates. We stayed for a week just after Christmas and into the New Year. From start to finish both Gianinna and Joustinne were very knowledgable and VERY helpful in helping us to arrange the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. There were a few small issues with the house early into the trip and each time everything was resolved quickly and without any issues.Both Gianinna and Joustinne were amazing to deal with and I knew that from the very beginning of the process and that never changed throughout the entire stay. I highly recommend this property, you won't regret choosing it!

Absolute Luxury Vacation in the perfect setting

This was the best vacation we have ever booked. The house was better than the photos portrayed. We ate well (breakfast made every day by the house mom, such a treat), we slept well (the beds were amazing with the nicest sheets and luxury beds-a rare thing in CR), and the house and the location were perfect. We walked to the beach, and from the beach club to Avenellas Beach and LoLAs (so beautiful). The security was great (no worries, two gates to pass). The manager, Gianina, was the best! She booked our tours to the zip lines and waterfalls, and she booked our Private Chefs (amazing! A Must if you stay here). We had the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation yet. Waking up to the monkeys, the water view from the terrace with the waves crashing, the STARS at night, the golf course, the bike trails (this house had bikes we could use), the beach club, and the exquisite house, made everything perfect. We will be coming back to this special spot for sure.

Complete Luxury in a Costa Rican Paradise

This house is true Costa Rican Luxury, from the furniture to the views of the crashing waves from the pool spa. Located in the small neighborhood of La Dulce Vida, it is the most special spot of Hacienda Panillia. This was the most magical vacation we have ever taken. You will Wake up to the monkeys howling in the trees, iguanas visiting poolside, horses and cattle to visit down the road, and private beaches just a walk down the street. We used the mountain bikes and the beach games that were stocked in the garage. The concierge helped us set up dinners with private chefs (use Sharon from “Life is Beautiful”) and she arranged rides to airport. The neighborhood has its own security that patrols all night and the house manager is amazing and offered services that we used all week long. Don’t hesitate to book your stay in this modern luxury home in natures paradise. If you love the true nature of Costa Rica, this is your dream home! Pura Vida at its finest.

Expected More

This was our second time staying at this property in under six months. We still like the house, love the location, but we were disappointed by a number of things. We had previously had a house mom and daily maid service included with our stay - while quietly removed from the listing, reviews still highlight this as a a huge selling point. That was not the case this time. When requested, it was an additional cost. We brought up issues with the house upon arrival that were never addressed and never attempted to be addressed. Leaving one of the bedrooms too hot to sleep in. Overall the management of this property in my opinion has gone down hill very quickly. We would not stay here again.

Hi Ben, We take your comments very seriously as it is important for us. As we discussed with you directly the listing had Breakfast and Cleaning included daily the first months of being in the market that is when you first stayed with us as a promotion. But it is always important to read the description of the homes to see what is included and what is not. As per decision of the owner this feature was taken out. Is not poorly management many companies in the world have promotional packages as well as we do as strategy for marketing products. We have had very happy guests and continue to do!!

This property is stunning! High end finishes and lots of space. We stayed here (family of 4, two teens) in August. Each bedroom has an ensuite. Everyone was super happy! The house is well laid out, and the outside terrace is big and lovely! Pool is refreshing and gorgeous. It’s less than a 10 min drive to the beach club, and a close walk to a beautiful rocky beach with amazing sunsets, and another beach close by for long strolls. The beaches are beautiful but do have strong rip currents at certain times of day - but they are some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve been to, and we’ve traveled the world. One of the best parts of the stay was the Concierge service! Joustinne was incredible helping us navigate excursions and reservations and restaurants and the area. He helped us book a trip to La Leona waterfall (about 2 hrs away) with the best guide and was the highlight of our trip! From start to finish we were taken care of by the whole team. Tamarindo is about 20 min away and has great restaurants. There are few restaurants nearer to the house that are wonderful too. Hacienda Pinilla is gorgeous, quiet, well maintained and safe complex. Our stay was the absolute best, and we are already planning our trip for next year!
