Super clean, newly renovated family cottage located in a quiet, gated community. Tons of amenities without leaving the community. Swimming in the olympic size swimming pool, tennis & bocce courts, children's playground, crabbing and fishing docks, kayaking, sailing, bike riding, community fire pit, walking trails, etc. Our family has been enjoying this unique community for many, many years. We are just a short distance to Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes Beach, Rehoboth Beach, Assateague Island and surrounding resorts and parks with great restaurants, activities, beaches, golfing, boardwalks, etc.

Clean close to relatives in the community well supplied with linens kitchen full stocked however no garbage disposal but not an issue for me. Would not hesitate to recommend this place.

We enjoyed Sharon's cottage! The rental is one of the most comfortable, cleanest and cutest houses we've stayed in--my family loved it! The cottage was decorated with a nautical theme and it was equipped with all the necessities and plus some. The back porch/sunroom was especially nice. We'll be back!

Nice house in a great neighborhood

The house was nicely decorated and a great place for family to stay. Love the neighborhood for walks. The screened porch was wonderful for hanging out. Only downsides were the master bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke particularly when the door was closed. Also the property owner was a bit difficult. She had wanted me to list my children’s names on the lease which I did not want to do. She also said we broke a chair which was not the case - it was broken when we arrived. Rather than asking about it, she just told me we broke it and would be responsible for the repair cost. But clearly the owner cares about the property and keeps it up nicely. So, include all of your kids and take pictures of anything broken when you arrive, and likely you will be fine.

We stayed for ten days and had a great time. The house is even cuter than the photos show. I appreciated all of the cute decor that made it feel more like a home and not a hotel or empty rental. Everything went smoothly for check in. It's a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. It's tucked away from the chaos of the beach but close enough to go out for the day for the beach or shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing experience

Sharon was extremely communicative and the place was adorable and had so many nice amenities like nice sheets, lots of spices for cooking, and lots of towels for the beach. Lovely spot-- wish we had more time to hang out in the place itself.

Your property met our needs. We were in the area to attend a wedding celebration on the beach for our grandson. The house was clean and inviting. We just wished we could have stayed longer. Your renovations were nicely done.

Family Time

We loved the cottage. It was close to the beach and very spacious. The supplies to make you comfortable were amazing. Love the gated community. As all women traveling we felt safe. Will definitely rent again.

Clean and beautiful

The cottage was beautiful, clean and very simple to get to. It was difficult to pull our grandmother away from the house to even go to the beach! About 25 minutes away from Rehoboth beach, it was a perfect location. Friendly community and neighbors. My family and i plan to come back next year for an even longer stay!

2 night stay

This was a very clean and charming property. We arrived to the property to check in, and unfortunately the air conditioner was not working,the temperature in the house was 82 degrees. I immediately contacted the host,and someone came out the next day to assess the issue. We were told that the issue would not be corrected until we were already checked out. We were told to open windows,and run fans but even with this the temperature in the home was up to 84 degrees during the day hours. We were asked if we wanted to leave,but due to traveling the distance and our daughter looking forward to the beach,we decided to stay. We went out and bought fans to help with the lack of AC. The owner told us that she would be giving us a discount on the stay due to the lack of AC, the discount only ended up being a very small discount,and I mean VERY small compared to what we paid in total. We were expecting a more accommodating discount due to the fact that we were drenched in sweat the whole weekend due to no AC,but we were told that the owner of the property only agreed to the very small discount due to the fact that we agreed to stay. Just a very unfortunate situation. It was out of the owners control,but there was no grace to us as the renters who spent a good bit of money to be there. The property would have been amazing if there was air conditioner! We will not be staying again due to the lack of empathy from the owner.
