Great place to relax. Host was helpful and very welcoming. Beautiful house was better than the pictures. Really enjoyed the hot tub in the trees!

We were only able to spend three nights here, but we really liked the property:Excellent location in walking distance to the beach and biking distance to beautiful Duck, NC with tons of Restaurants, Shops and Fun things to do. We enjoyed a meticulous clean property at arrival, fully stocked with everything you can possibly need and in very good, high quality and almost new condition of the interior including kitchen utensils and stuff. Communication and access was super easy, Meredith is a fantastic host. It is hard to find anything that is not perfect. The only thing for us was, that we were no big fans of the mattresses but understand, that this is very much personal preference and fit.We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely lovely beach home, just steps from the beach! Bright, cheery interior that made us smile each time we walked in the door. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna everyday, especially since we were there in January. The host thought of everything that we could possibly need or want for our stay. And she was very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in the Outer Banks.

Wonderful getaway

This place was wonderful. It has many very nice upgrades. The hot tub and sauna were very welcome as we went in January. A good amount of space for just my husband and me. It’s in a great location, just a mile from Duck but off the main road in a neighborhood. Very close to the beach, just a shirt walk.

Our family had a great time at this house. We travelled in January so we did not go for the beach, but the modern updates made the time we spent inside more fun. The kids liked the LED lights in the fireplace, rain shower heads, and under the beds. The games and puzzles were also appreciated on a rainy day. The modern kitchen was nice for cooking breakfast and the hot tub alcove under the tree was nice, even in the cold. We also enjoyed having a short drive into Duck for dinner options. We would definitely stay here again. It’s a great house for an OBX visit during any season.

Great location, great amenities

We stayed in this home with our 2 teens and had a lovely stay. It’s a short walk to an amazing beach and the owners have added lots of extras like beach chairs, umbrella, hot tub, and sauna. The beds were comfy and the kitchen fairly well equipped. Everything was fresh and new and very clean. On one of the days of our stay, the beach was closed for swimming due to rip tides, but we could still swim at the indoor pool across the road. We would definitely stay here again!

I'm so glad you and your family had a wonderful vacation at our peaceful spa home just steps to the beach. We do all we can to provide everything needed for a relaxing vacation including all the beach equipment, bikes, the sauna, the hot tub, and the spa bathrooms. We don't want you to have to haul anything from home. We just renovated the entire property including a brand new kitchen with high end appliances, new dinnerware and everything needed to cook great meals if you choose to do so. We're also just a short walk to town along the walking and biking path if you choose to go out to eat or go shopping at Duck's great soundfront boardwalk. Looking forward to your next visit! We had a lovely spring getaway to Southern Shores with a group of friends and truly enjoyed the peaceful location and proximity to the beach. It was easy to get to neighboring towns for shopping, dining, and exploring. Walking the sand dunes quickly became one of our favorite ways to take in the area.The house itself had a lot of great features we appreciated, especially the kitchen, which made it fun to cook and share meals together. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sauna during our stay.While we did encounter a few challenges during our visit, including some initial maintenance issues, we were still able to make the most of our time and enjoy being together. Communication with the host was consistent throughout, even though resolution took some time.Despite a few bumps along the way, the experience overall was enjoyable and the setting made for a memorable trip.

You happened to be there on the only occasion I can think of in years where we had a bit of snow and the entire team searched all over the area to find snow melt. We did it as fast as we could. These items just are not readily available in the outer banks but we were able to find some the next day. We also replaced the light bulb that went out promptly.
