The Beachwood is a mid-town, waterfront property just steps from the beach and only 8 short blocks from downtown. The open design with a great-room and oversized wood fireplace, invites family gathering while sunset gazing or storm watching.


Enjoy the spacious, contemporary kitchen and open dining area, while still not missing that ocean view! The open flow from the kitchen / dining area to the great-room creates ample room for spreading out, enjoying TV, music, or the fireplace.


Conveniently on the main level, is the master bedroom with a King sized bed; the second bedroom with a Queen bed; the main bathroom (tub/shower); and a laundry area.


The upstairs open loft features a Queen bed, a bathroom with shower, as well as a third private bedroom (Twin beds) with an additional TV and DVD.


Accommodates 8 maximum; pets welcome / 2 maximum; no smoking; parking for 3 vehicles.

3 night minimum stay, except during the summer months.
7 night minimum stay for the summer months.
Please call to inquire about shorter stays, we are happy to accommodate when we can.

Deck Furniture and BBQ's are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Great location to beach & town

We enjoyed our stay at Beachwood. You can see the ocean and hear the waves from the house and the proximity to town was an extra bonus. The property management team was very responsive to our needs. Suggestions for improvement would be replacement of the primary bedroom's bed and living room furniture, which was not comfortable. The placement of the living room TV should be moved so you can enjoy the view and actually see the TV picture--too much glare. We did dust areas, some places there were cobwebs hanging, and some hanging verticals were either broken or missing. A good interior paint job is also needed. The best part was the location, which is priceless.

Reviewer Comments: Staying at the ocean is always fun...a few things about this rental: Beach access is close but not easy to get to if you have any issue at all walking , there is no balcony that all guests can sit and enjoy the view. Balcony is small and the view is poor. The house itself has seen some tough days, there must have been alot of parties there in the past. Lots of windows which is great but they are so dirty it’s hard to see out of them. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. Very high priced for the quality of the stay overall.

We kept our plans knowing a storm was coming. Unfortunately the storm was big enough to knock out power for almost 24 hours. Gas stove allowed some cooking. Found an extra supply of wood to use in the fireplace to keep us warm. Only thing not provided/found was some shampoo. Other than that the house was great:well equipped kitchen, easy beach and town access. Tight parking. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here! Was perfect to be able to watch the ocean from confirm of the house regardless of weather. The beach is RIGHT there, access essentially from the front yard. There is a public trail, but we didn't feel bothered by that at all. Walk to the coffee shop each morning and only about a 13 minute walk to all the shops. Epic sunsets, the elk, views of the haystack, lovely. Very little complaints about the house itself. Between 7 adults, we felt we had plenty of room. Needs and furniture are all standard VRBO quality, but decent enough. Loved the fence backyard, especially for the pups.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a perfect location; on the beach and an easy walk to town. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean. Our group of 7 easily fit and the common area was big enough for all of us. Unfortunately the storm that hit was big enough to knock out the power for almost 24 hours. Luckily the gas burners could still be lit in order to cook some things and there was enough extra wood to keep warm.

The location of this house is so amazing. Seconds to the beach with views of Haystack Rock!! The place was clean and the kitchen was well-appointed. The only negative here was the uncomfortable very squeaky beds.

Beautiful location and view

Allows for beautiful walks on the beach each day. The house itself is rather tired. It is a pet friendly home and it shows. We took our dogs who are well trained and housebroken. Clearly many dogs visited this home who are not house broken. I would suggest a carpet shampoo after guests leave. The curtains are falling and the upstairs bathroom tile is falling off the wall. The kitchen is great and extremely well appointed. In short, if you’re looking for a luxury stay, this home isn’t for you. If you’re easy going and don’t mind a fixer upper, you can’t beat this lovely location.

All of the beds were oddly soft in places and hard elsewhere. Some of the shades on the upper windows are missing. The open loft bedroom does not work well for adults - too much light and noise.

Beachwood House at Cannon Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property has a "million dollar view and location to the beach!" However, it could use a little TLC. The inside needs painting - a wall in the living room is peeling, baseboards haven't been painted in a long time, kitchen cabinets scratched - just needs some paint!! The deck furniture was awful but the property management company was great to replace it. Also the BBQ was a mess - grease pan full to the brim and not safe to barbecue. Again the property management company came and cleaned it up nicely so we could barbecue. The yard also needs some attention. We felt safe for the most part, however, anyone could come in through the backyard - easy access. We kept doors and windows locked at night so not terribly worried. The location is amazing and the view as well so that was a big plus. We enjoyed our stay but decided not to re-rent and find somewhere more reasonably priced in 2025.
