I had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage in Lexington. The location is perfect — close to everything, but still peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was spotless and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The host met me when I arrived and was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the stay feel even more comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This was an absolute lovely experience. The cottage was so cute and a great break from the hustle and bussel of visiting a busy city. Everyone at the property was kind and willing to chat about their horses and the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Whitney was very responsive to my questions. The cottage was perfect for us and we loved being able to see the horses just outside the window. The location was close to all of the activities we had planned in Lexington and Versailles. Would love to stay again!

It is as advertised. The cabin was ideal for a couple. The location is good, easy to get down town as well the farms on the perimeter. We enjoyed a bourbon in afternoon on the porch watching the horses in the pasture. The barn puppy was great to play with. We spent a very relaxing and comfortable week at the cottage. We recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quiet peaceful stay.

This property was outstanding. I was met upon arriving and given a tour of the cottage, barn and property. Introduced to the horses and Duffy - the property Ambassador. The property owners are amazing, thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. Their hospitality was amazing.The site, very well kept and maintained, quiet and relatively easy to access 24 hours a day. I have another trip possibly in the spring, and this will be number 1 on my list for booking when the time comes. Thank You Whitney, Jeanne and Duffy for the amazing week!

The cottage felt like a little rural oasis but still close to town. We love horses and these guys quickly became our buddies thanks to the jar of peppermints Nothing like a nicker to welcome you home after a long day!

Beautiful property and a wonderful cabin! So calm and peaceful and a great place to relax after a busy day. Everyone was so nice and it was wonderful to just step out the door and be able to pet the horses on the property. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am definitely planning on going there again! Beautiful property and quaint cottage. The cottage is very welcoming and has all the amenities to ensure a great stay. The property owners are terrific hosts. The location is close to downtown Lexington but provides quiet, privacy that you would not expect. The horses are very friendly and a nice addition to your stay. The property is very very well kept and the owners are great people.

Everything I could have hoped for

Pictures don’t do it justice. The home was perfect! The hosts were kind, accessible, and clearly thought through everything anyone could possibly need. I cannot recommend it enough. I hope to return in the near future.

Awesome as usual!

If you are looking for a low key, clean, well stocked, quiet place to stay then look no further. If you want to look out the back window and see horses grazing in the pasture as the sun comes up this is your place. We have stayed here twice and both times we have been so happy and comfortable. The location is perfect if you are doing all the horsey stuff in the area. It truly doesn’t get any better than that! We will definitely stay here again!

Unique quaint place

We were impressed with the cleanliness and welcoming impression the moment we stepped into the home. It is quiet and a very unique experience. We enjoyed “being on the farm” but also being close to the city. The host was very responsive and helpful. It felt like home.

Cozy Friendly Guest house

Beautiful working horse farm is a lovely, convenient place to stay. With hospitable, friendly and knowledgeable hosts we had a wonderful visit in Lexington. We would definitely plan to stay there again and keep a pocket full of peppermint for the horses.

Great location and clean

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly and the setting was lovely. It was close to the horse park and to restaurants and stores. The home itself was very comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend this to others as a great place to stay!

Why Stay In A Hotel?

Like the title, why would you stay in a hotel when you can stay on a horse farm for less money! We had a short weekend visit which was wonderful. The quiet, the hospitality, the welcoming cottage, combined with being close to all the places Lexington is famous for, was exactly what we were looking for. The cottage is excellent for a couple with everything one needs. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it well. From our first emailed questions to the easy checkout, the host made it so smooth and easy. We wish our visit could have been longer and we hope we can return before long. We highly recommend you experience it too. .

Country Life

Beautiful place with so much room to enjoy. Whitney was a great host and didn't mind us exploring her property during our stay. We got to feed the horses as well as enjoy the wildlife that surrounded us. The cottage was perfect for us. It had everything we needed during our stay. Close enough to everything, yet very quiet. A perfect vacation spot

I have stayed at Cloud 9 farm for three years in a row. Each visit has been perfect. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the hosts couldn’t be more gracious. They are informative and always helpful. It’s a wonderful place to wake up to, and I love to feed the horses mints. It is very close to all Lexington’s horsey attractions which of course are great fun. The. Cottage is attractive and has all the comforts of home. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. Expect a charming experience. And enjoy the beauty, peace and quiet Of this exemplary farm.
