Great place, great location!

Super clean, incredible view and super simple walk to main Playa Flamingo, and a smaller more “private” beachfront is even closer and is amazing for snorkeling/fishing. Host is incredibly responsive and kind and check in/out was very simple.

The condo was exactly as pictured - picture perfect. The view was stunning, you couldn’t get enough. Very central to other beach areas and walkable or a short drive to many restaurants. Carolina was absolutely a fantastic host. Very attentive and always responsive and gave great recommendations. Give both the place and Carolina a 10 out of 10.

This condo has some of the best views around and the BEST little private beach below. The bed was super comfy, its a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It had everything we needed to feel at home!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this penthouse suite in Playa Flamingo. The host was fantastic—responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The suite itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect: an easy walking distance to both the beach and the marina, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The amenities were excellent, and the highlight was undoubtedly the spectacular ocean view—it was breathtaking. Highly recommend this penthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed stay with an unforgettable view. We would absolutely stay here again.

We just got back from an really great trip to Playa Flamingo. This penthouse was perfect in every way,,,very clean, the king bed was really comfortable, amazing views, amazing pool and private little beach. The unit was quiet and peaceful. We could walk to anything we may need, plus easy drive to everything. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

After staying in a series of hotels, this 1 bedroom penthouse, recently, competently and tastefully renovated was pure heaven. Like being home to cook, relax, wash clothes, with a brilliant view, and a perfect pool for swimming laps!

What a Perfect stay!

We just returned form a week stay & I can't wait to return. Everything was ideal from the location, views & condo itself! It was beautiful. Close to several restaurants & beaches etc. Our favorite dining spot was Hazels which is walking distance. The property manager Carolina was EXCELLENT!! She was there to answer all our questions, & went above and beyond. Don't hesitate to book this condo. We had an amazing time. Barbara

I would give this place a 4.5/5 out of 5. Carolina is an excellent host. The property is a bit older so the front door is difficult to open and close. Additionally the check-in process is a manual key even though there is a keypad on the lock, we arrived earlier than expected and had to wait for the host to meet us. Outside of that, absolutely fantastic. The view is unbelievable and it is stocked with everything you might need including beach chairs and a cooler. The AC works great as well. I would highly recommend this spot to others and would stay here again.

Amazing stay. The condo was very clean, modern, great amenities, and easy and effective communication with the host. No problems at all with check-in or check-out. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. And to top it off, absolutely gorgeous view from the penthouse. A wonderful way to end our trip in Costa Rica. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place that matches photos. The view is outstanding and we spent many hours on the balcony. Property manager was very responsive and always helpful. Kitchen is better stocked than many VRBO’s we’ve rented. Check in and out was easy. Having a private pool for the complex was nice. If you do not have a rental car, would advise a golf cart rental to hit the local restaurants, beaches and groceries. If you have mobility issues, be advised there’s no elevator to the 3rd floor. Also, the steps to the closest beach are extremely steep. BUT, that beach is very family friendly as there’s plenty of shade, rocky areas to explore, easy waves and small crowds with no nonsense happening. We watched kids amuse themselves for hours. You’ve just got to get there. The actual Playa Flamingo beach is close (in front of Margaritaville Resort) and also very family utilized -but more crowded. There is no shortage of outdoor things to do with dozens of tour operators happy to take you. Book your catamaran snorkel cruise early. There’s a nearby French cafe that had lovely pastries - Le Gourmet Panaderia - we highly recommend.

For context, we’ve been renting in this complex for 4 years enjoying a different condo every year. We stayed here for 36 days. First the positive. We obviously like the area because it’s so great, the pool, the small beach, the availability of restaurants, pharmacy and clinic nearby is awesome. The condo itself is nice; the bed is comfortable with high quality linens and towels. The appliances are excellent. It is clean (we also had cleaning service weekly that we paid for) and very, very bright. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The BBQ is top notch and fairly new. We also enjoyed the nice beach chairs and towels daily.Now what we liked a little less. The check-in process is outdated, waiting for the host to bring a key is less than ideal and it’s certainly not the norm in 2026. It’s probably because the front door is old with a broken keypad, and I’m guessing, the owner refuses to fix or replace it. Other reviewers mentioned it as well. The door doesn’t close without having to lock it. The bathroom door stuck to the floor, you need to push hard to close it, which created a loud noise, not ideal in the middle of the night. The coffee machine was initially so old that it would take an hour to make a pot of coffee. Luckily, Carolina replaced it immediately after we mentioned it. The night tables are shaky and can fall easily when the drawers are opened, not too safe. Talking about safe there isn’t one so no place to lock up your passport and/or money. Also,
