Beautiful amenities! Very clean and comfortable! The location was wonderful. We were very happy we chose to stay here. The host was very good at communicating and I felt comfortable in knowing how to access the accommodations and all other need-to-know details.

Exactly as advertised; property manager very responsive; exterior rear area could be a little cleaner/nicer, but we weren’t at the house that much to bother us.

Great location. Being so close to the grocery store was amazing too! Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Stairs had some uneven steps so if your balance is not great be aware.

Host was very responsive to needs, house is very clean. We did have issues with internet connectivity, for some reason it kept kicking us off of the network when we were streaming shows. Also as mentioned in other reviews, the kitchen is firstly supplied, they were very few plates and bowls available for use and so we had to wash them frequently, and had to get creative with dishes. The location was great, very short walk to the subway station and a safe way just down the street. Overall other than the internet and lack of dishes this was a great spot.

Property was immaculate inside; neighborhood felt safe and friendly. Metro stop and grocery were just blocks away. Founding Farmers, Busboys and Poets, and Capitol Burger were all within walking distance as well. Some nearby houses are being rehabbed, and that work will add greatly to the area's appeal.

Great location near convention center

This house was the perfect place for us to get away from the convention center, and much cozier than a hotel. A couple of suggestions would be to have more dishes and silverware (a group of more than 2 would need to do dishes about every meal), and to install some towel hooks on the back of the bathroom door so there is more than the one rack. We would definitely stay here again if we return for another con!

DC spring break

First time trip to DC- location was great for access to metro as that is completely what we used for our transportation And it was maybe 1 block from Safeway grocery and various restaurants which was awesomesuggested improvement- better stocked kitchen- could use more plates, bowls, silverware, serving /mixing bowls, salad tongs , serving utensils

DC Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The place is just like it is listed. We were happy that the Metro was close and the grocery store was even closer. The manager was awesome. Everytime I sent a message, his responses were in a timely manner. Just wished I had his number so I could have called direct. Very nice trip. Even the teens enjoyed the stay. Would stay again if i needed too. I strongly recommend this place.

A cute spot; an amazing host

We really enjoyed our stay here. The proximity via ride-hailing or taxi is outstanding. The walking distance to groceries, a German beer-hall, and cute morning brunch spots is all great.The host is a champ. When we needed help/information, he responded outstandingly quickly. In all the cases it was our (my) fault, but he was patient and kind and worked to help us get over bumps. On top of that, I did something dumb and damaged the property. I know, it's something no one wants to do and, for his part, the host was gracious.The space is very nice: washer and dryer are great, TVs in every room (if that's your thing), reliable wifi, and kept well and clean.The kitchen was lightly stocked with regard to utensils, pots, plates, etc. If you're planning on eating out most meals, this might not bother you. But, at time of our visit, the kitchen was not suitable for a full meal prep.Lastly, as Big City dwellers let us advise that guests from outside of the big, Atlantic cities would be advised that they should practice city defensiveness. Don't leave bags on the sidewalk; don't come home too late/too inebriated; keep your vehicle locked and empty.

My family enjoyed staying at this two-bedroom row house for our four-night five-day visit to DC. It's centrally located near all the DC attractions. The host responded to all of our questions very quickly. We were able to cook breakfast each morning in the kitchen. We appreciated the Keurig coffee maker, gas stove, dishwasher, smart TVs with easy connectivity to Netflix and Prime, and upstairs washer & dryer. The towels and linens were very nice. We would have liked to have had a larger and more traditional living room sofa for lounging in front of the TV. As the photos show, there is a small sofa that is large enough for two people to sit and one person to sort of lounge. It's okay but not great. Anyone staying here needs to be able to walk up about 8 steps to the entrance, and then navigate a winding staircase up to the two bedrooms. We plan to return here during future DC trips.
