Featured on Dwell+ (March 2025), this thoughtfully renovated mid-century modern home is tucked into the heart of downtown Encinitas. Bathed in natural light, the space showcases preserved mid-century details, stunning hardwood floors, and a beautiful wood-paneled ceiling, with ocean views from west-facing windows that glow at sunset.
The private guest home has its own entrance with no shared spaces, offering complete privacy. While we live on the property above, the guest home is fully separate and designed for a peaceful, independent stay.
The recently remodeled kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, featuring brand-new appliances and generous storage. Enjoy breakfast on your private patio, or unwind on the front porch as the sun sets over the Pacific.
Located on a quiet street just steps from the Coastal Rail Trail, the home is within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, coffee spots, yoga studios, parks, and the Encinitas Public Library. Moonlight Beach is just half a mile away, and the world-famous surf break at Swami’s Beach is one mile north.
Public transportation by bus or train is only a block away, making it easy to explore the area. As with many coastal homes in Encinitas, train activity can be heard, adding to the authentic seaside charm and convenient location.

We love being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops in our town. It is so nice to be able to grab a cup of coffee and walk to the beach in the morning or along the rail trail. We also love how we can walk to the coaster station to take us to events downtown!

Our property is unique in that the mid century feel of the the home was preserved through our renovation. It is clean, and bright and filled with brand new essentials. Our personal home is in the unit above and we are happy to help answer questions about your stay!
