Welcome to Hey Sugar, an elegant mid-century retreat in the serene southern part of Palm Springs. This exquisite three-bedroom, (all King beds) two-bath home (plus a game room) is situated on a tranquil street, yet remains close to all the action. The airport is a mere five-minute drive away, and downtown's top restaurants, casinos, and entertainment venues are just as convenient. Once you step through the front doors, however, you might not want to leave, as panoramic glass doors reveal breathtaking mountain views to the south and west.


Indoor Luxury:
Inside, Hey Sugar is a blend of upscale charm and cozy comfort, the result of a top to bottom remodel. The open and inviting living room, complete with a large L-shaped couch, is perfect for movie nights or simply gazing at the stunning views through the panoramic windows. (and wait until you see the wallpaper in the entryway!)

The game room, a recent addition, features a comfy couch,  a pool table, a shuffleboard table, and other games.  A big TV and barstools complete the experience.  Big game? Rom-com?  Check. Check. 

The modern, fully furnished kitchen is a chef's dream, equipped with—well, just about everything you Top Chefs might need.  A giant blender, rice cooker, multiple coffee makers, tea kettle, and more kitchen gadgets than we can remember or name. Cooking newbie or Gordon Ramsey,  you'll love working in this kitchen. And when you put the final touches on that lavish meal—hello, Instagram!—the dining options abound:  from the waterfall island to the main dining table; inside the game room; and outside, at least four options, all with spectacular views.

Sleeping Quarters:
The three stunning bedrooms are sunny and modern, each with its own unique personality. All rooms feature king-sized beds and distinctive wallpaper selections.  The primary suite boasts a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with a double vanity, walk-in shower, elegant tiling, multiple shower heads, and direct access to the yard and pool through sliding glass doors. All bedrooms come equipped with flat-screen TVs, ensuring comfort and entertainment.

The second bathroom includes a walk-in shower, changing and laundry facilities, and a long double vanity with a backlit mirror. It’s the perfect space to freshen up and look your best.

Outdoor Oasis:
Step into the backyard.  You’ll be surprised.  It’s like the Relaxation Gods have designed this just for you. The centerpiece is a stunning new pool and spa, surrounded by bougainvillea flowers and vines that frame the 270-degree mountain views.  The large landscaped yard provides many areas to gather: an expansive covered dining table, a charming breakfast nook, a cozy coffee corner, and couches by the fire pit adjacent to a modern bubbling fountain. There’s even a daybed overlooking the pool and spa, perfect for unwinding. The mountain views and illuminated palm trees at night create an atmosphere that’s hard to beat.  You will not want to leave. 


The Location:
Nestled in the Los Compadres neighborhood, Hey Sugar offers a quiet oasis in southern Palm Springs. This area, once filled with horses and stables, now provides a family-friendly atmosphere with parks and walking paths. Shopping is conveniently close by, and Demuth Park, known for its public trails and pickleball center, is just minutes away. Sunrise Park, with its wide array of outdoor activities, including the Palm Springs Swim Center, is also nearby. -Dogs ONLY are allowed if approved in advance of booking and pet fee is paid ($125.00 + tax per pet, 2 dogs max, 2 small or one small and one up to 50 lbs).
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available with an extra fee. Subject to availability.
- Pool Heating fee $100 per day, $700 per week. Weekly discount may be available April - September. Pool heating may not be available in extreme weather conditions. Pool heating fee may be adjusted in the unlikely event of extreme fluctuations in gas prices. When a fee is paid pools are heated to a max temp of 86 degrees (80-86 is normal)
- Actual utilities paid by guests for reservations 28 nights or longer. 21 nights in summer months. A separate utility deposit per month will be collected. This deposit is based on the Market Price of Natural Gas and the Market Price of Electricity and will be collected post-booking. Meter reading photos are taken on the day of arrival and the day of departure. Any unused amount will be refunded at end of the stay.
You are encouraged to take your own photos of the Gas and Electric meters on arrival and departure to keep track of usage. Please be aware that SoCal Edison and SoCal Gas have some of the highest utility rates in the country so we recommend that you keep close track of your usage to avoid surprises. Utilities are charged at the Market Price of Natural Gas per therm (gas) and the Market Price of Electricity per Kilowatt (electric) and are based on the average cost of Gas and Electric in the desert at the time of stay. We do not provide private owner utility bills.
- Recommended air conditioner temp is 74 in summer, be advised anything lower can freeze the system rendering it non-functional.
