3 habitaciones, 2 baños, diseño abierto del rancho recientemente renovado, excelente para el entretenimiento, aire acondicionado central, calefacción con agua caliente, lavadora, secadora, excelente plano de planta abierto en la cocina. Natación, barbacoas y del recurso servicios justo al lado en el amatista! Lo mejor de ambos mundos, la privacidad de una hermosa casa de 3 dormitorios, a pie de playa y paseo marítimo y se aprovechan de instalaciones del Resort, justo al lado con barbacoas, patio de la piscina, instalaciones de desayuno y Wi-Fi. Dos dormitorios tienen 1 cama Queen, el 3er dormitorio tiene dos camas queen y sofá cama en la sala de estar.

Our family stayed at the house in late August. The staff at the Amethyst Hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. The house was clean and Conveniently located to the beach and Boardwalk.

Nice house near everything

This house was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed having the extra living space and kitchen. We also enjoyed having the yard to relax in since the weather was beautiful the weekend we were there.

Great location and house

Super close to Jenks and the boardwalk. Clean house, plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The beds and rooms were as listed, and cozy. Nice bigger beds. Front yard and grass was a huge plus. Never got the WiFi passwords but we didn’t really need it.

Family gathering

My husband and I wanted to treat our grown children to a long weekend on the Jersey shore. We rented your house in Point Pleasant. The house was a perfect gathering place for our family. Perfectly situated walking distance from the beach and boardwalk but far enough to be quiet for sleeping babies. The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable for all three generations of visitors. What a pleasant little vacation.

Great location on Laurel Ct— very walkable to boardwalk without parking hassles. Super clean and comfortable too. Listing was as presented— owners went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and were very accommodating to let us stay late (we weren’t due at Newark until later). Will look up John and the gang again for our Jersey shore needs!

Great location!

We stayed for a long weekend and loved the easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Owner worked quickly with us on parking, but would have been nice to have a couple of dedicated spaces. That said, parking is always a challenge at Point that close to the beach. Additional amenity of the motel pool was wonderful and the kids really enjoyed it. The house was comfortable and the open concept made it feel roomy for the group. One small maintenance issue was immediately addressed by the owner. Overall a great stay!

A great place right very close to Jenkinson’s Boardwalk and the beach!

My 13 yr old daughter and her friend and friend’s Mom as well as my 15 yr old son and myself stayed here for 3 days and it was just perfect! So convenient and walkable to point pleasant shops and restaurants and to Jenkinson’s boardwalk and the beach in the other direction and we had access to the very clean pool at the motel next door! Overall a wonderful stay! Something’s to note that could have been better: the Wi-Fi connection was very spotty, no blender or coffee grinder, and for the pool next door you must bring your own towels. But, I was very happy with how well kept the place was kept and the fact that upon leaving they didn’t have any requests like about putting the towels and sheets in the dryer, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband fell on a chair that broke. Chairs at the table are all broken dirty floor. Had a problem with the WiFi. And tvs. No supplies, including fork, potholders, bowl for salad and so on. No parking you get a pass for the street. Feet stay black even after a shower. Never again.

Amethyst House

Overall our stay here was good. The house was clean and comfortable. It is a no frills house, but it was perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. Access to the hotel pool was a big plus and the beach and boardwalk were an easy walk. We did have problems with wi-fi access that were never resolved. We asked for help quite a few times and finally just gave up. Parking was also a challenge. You don’t get a specific parking space, you are left to find parking on the street in front of the house. You are competing with the general public going to the beach for these spots during the day. This was mentioned in the rental description, but not to the point that we realized it could be a problem with our party of three vehicles.

Needs Love

Basic at best - felt pricey for what you get. The house may be remodeled but felt like a weekend Home Depot project for a $1000.00 Bathrooms and kitchen just seemed off. Example- asked for more outdoor chairs as there were maybe five I broke one immediately because it cracked from being in the sun. Kitchen, bring your own supplies, paper towels spong, plastic glasses. It may have been set up as a summer crash pad for kids working the boardwalk, not a small family visit. Location. boarderline industrial, house is adjacent to the hotel parking lot, and backs to a storage lot that had a big trailer and street vending cart. There was no back yard. BBQ and pool - didn’t try to go there not appropriate for our stay. Patio - appears a raised flowerbed was converted to a place to sit and could be dangerous as it’s only wide enough for a chair, one would have to squeeze around anyone sitting. Electric switches, something is off here too. Some work some don’t, light by front door didn’t work, and a couple of other switches. Basic maintenance just wasn’t there for the price your paying and it’s not my thing to keep asking. I don’t like doing that. This house is part of the hotel, and just feels like basic repairs were made to have it pass for a revenue generating unit. If you’re 20ish and can afford it go for it. I’m at an age I don’t want to deal with it and can afford better.

The house is in an A location, literally a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk or beach. Closer than some of the pay parking lots. It's spacious and the 3 bedrooms / 2 baths worked well for our family. there is a washer/dryer which is great for bathing suits and towels. Property provided sheets/linens/towels for the house - BYO Beach Towel. The furniture is very dated. You'l need to provide everything else, from coffee filters, salt/pepper, dish soap, etc.

The location of this house is amazing. Close to the beach. The layout of the house is good, no back yard but you really don't need it. It was clean. There could be some updates to the furniture, it seemed old and outdated. Some rips on the couch furniture but nothing that would ruin a vacation. Check in was easy. You have access to the pool next door but we did not use it because it was cold and raining. We had a good time.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was spacious, clean, and located very close to the boardwalk/beach as well as town. The WiFi went in and out a lot, so definitely bring a hotspot or something similar if you plan to work from here!!
