Este es el epítome de un hogar familiar. Con un área de comedor íntimo, dos salas de estar separadas y acceso directo a Firefly Park, ¡toda la familia estará encantada! Con 4 habitaciones hay un amplio espacio para dormir, especialmente la habitación con literas con espacio para dormir como 6 niños en las áreas de literas.

La planta baja dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio y una segunda habitación de la planta baja tiene una cama de matrimonio. En la planta superior encontrará una habitación con literas equipada con literas completas y dobles con nido y el cuarto dormitorio tiene una cama doble. Hay una sala de estar en la planta baja, así como una segunda sala de estar adicional arriba. El área de la cocina tiene una mesa de comedor con capacidad para seis. La casa se encuentra justo en Firefly Park y tiene un porche apropiado con columpio de banco de madera y asientos adicionales. El patio tiene su propia área privada cercada con espacio para correr, use la mesa de ping pong al aire libre y encienda la parrilla de carbón.

Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The covered parking was great. The park right out front was wonderful. Having 2 living areas was great for everyone to spread out and there was lots of space for outback to play ping-pong, soccer, volleyball, whatever we wanted.

Overall it is a nice property. Sufficient beds, bathrooms, and living space, especially the upstairs room where the kids could hang out. We had a group of 9 people and this accommodated us nicely. Really nice place to stay -- very centrally located to all the pools and eateries. My only suggestion would be that this property needs some back yard furniture and a gas grill. Not many use a charcoal grill anymore, and we were not prepared for that. The only furniture in the back yard was a broken plastic chair that couldn't be used. But, all in all, it is a nice property, and we enjoyed our stay. Will definite return to Carlton Landing area.

Fantastic property. Spacious, clean. Great location: you can walk to the Meeting House, a pizza place, and the lake. You can also walk right out your front door and play in the field with your kids!

Summer 2020

We so enjoyed the flexibility of this property. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. We boated, swam in all the pools, enjoyed the rental options, and played on the beach. Thanks, Carlton Landing, for a wonderful getaway.

Perfect family home in a great lake town!

We rented this home for my family (3 adults and 3 kids), and we had more than enough space. The home was beautiful and clean. The downstairs provided a great kitchen/living space for socializing while on vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and updated. There was also an upstairs living area that was a perfect place for a kid to watch movies in the evening. The front porch opens up onto a park where there are often kids playing and adults socializing. It was a perfect place for my kids to play. The entire town of Carlton Landing is built for families. From the home, you can easily walk to a pizza place, the local coffee shop/meeting house, and the swimming pool, and you can easily access the lake. We loved our stay here and we would absolutely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Poindexter house was the perfect house for my family. The backyard was an unexpected surprise, and made a great SHADY place to host a family dinner gathering. The AC worked great... it was very hot the weekend we were there, and it felt so good after a day outdoors. Cottage Park and Firefly Park were both great for our family reunion games and visiting. We rented hold carts for our group (4 houses worth) and that helped to get around the community. The hard part was finding Poindexter house .. for us and for our families. We found Firefly Lane, but could not see the house address easily. The Lsne is more like an alley, and of course, the front door opens onto the park. It was frustrating for all. I’d suggest a nice address sign that is easy to see. I want to come back, with family or a girls trip!

The property itself was great — plenty of room for a family of four, with a wonderful bonus living room upstairs. We rented this house along with two other families nearby on Firefly Park, which made for a fantastic way to do a group vacation. If you had a larger group closer to the max sleeping space at this house, the main eating/cooking space downstairs might feel a bit tight.Our one disappointment was the Carlton Landing “amenities.” They look pristine in photos, but in person they showed some wear — pool and beach furniture past its prime, pool bathrooms could use more attention, and limited hours/options for grabbing even basic convenience items. If that’s part of what you’re paying a premium for, it’s currently falling short.

We even accidentally left some sunglasses in the house and the house keeping staff was honest and thoughtful enough to bring them to another house that we had rented. The property management company was fantastic to work with also, they gave us a little later check out since it wasn't booked for the next day after our stay. We loved this whole area and will definitely return.

I also loved the short walk to the meeting house. The beds were comfortable and AC worked well. The additional living space upstairs was great for the kids. The plastic Adirondak chairs in the back yard were almost all broken and upon sitting in one we thought was ok, the back broke off and the person fell to the ground.The bunkbed room is great for kids, however both trundle beds cannot be pulled out and used at the same time. There just isn't enough room. We had to call out maintenance several times for a backed up tub upstairs, but the management company was very responsive.

Great time

We had a nice visit to Carlton Landing again. We have rented multiple houses there and this one was very nice too. Some properties don’t have covered parking but this one did, for two cars. The host was responsive and we would absolutely recommend.

The beds were very comfortable, which is big for me. Even my kids thought the bunk beds were super comfy! The big lawn area was great for the kids and they had lots of fun using the ping pong table in the backyard. The master shower could use a new shower curtain and there was no can opener in the kitchen. The decor was a bit random compared to other homes on property. We had 11 people staying here (3 different families) and it suited our needs just fine.

Our teens played volleyball, ping-pong, basketball, and football on the field on the field in front of our house. With warm sunny days it was close to perfect!
