Property was as promised

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this property. We were uncertain, at first, because there are times when the property is different than advertised. This was not the case. The house was very well kept, it was clean, it was perfect for our family of 5. The host was very responsive and did not keep you waiting. There was a recent hurricane that had just hit the weekend prior and there was no power on the peninsula. Angela kept in contact with us and made sure we were aware the minute the service was restored, which kept us at ease. Will def be coming back.

Just what we needed

Angela made the stay great! Very responsive and helpful, especially coming right after the hurricane. She answered all question and kept in contact to let us know when the power was restored. The house was cozy and inviting. Not too far from the beach but not too close, perfect!

Great place

The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. We cooked a few of the nights and we had all the cookware we needed. The 2 bathrooms worked out really well and the showers worked perfect. The washer and dryer is nice so we could carry clean clothes home. The walk is short to the beach but we rented a golf cart close by so that we didn’t have to cart all our stuff to the beach. The Big store was so close that we rode the golf cart there sometimes. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back soon!

Great Weekend Stay

This house provided exactly what we needed for the weekend. The location is great as you can see the Big Store just across the street. This small 3 bedroom house gave us each the space that we needed to really wind down after a stressful week. TVs in most rooms allowed us all to watch what we wanted to. The kids were instantly drawn to the bunk bed room! The only thing is, be prepared. The master bedroom mattress is VERY FIRM. If you aren't used to that, don't pick that room! :) MY husband loved it, though! lol

Weekend fishing trip.

Went on a short 2 day trip to fish surf for bull reds. Location was. Great! Fished off beach right down the street from beach house and caught 6 bulls and 4 shark. Was able to catch all our bait right there in the surf also.

Great Experience

This was a last minute trip, and our host was very quick to respond to all questions and concerns to make this last minute trip possible. The beautiful rental was just as shown on the app and was very nice and clean, and very close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend to friends.

Excellent house, location, manager

We had a great stay at Crystal Beach, we were in town for an event in Galveston and stayed here for a couple of days. The house is beautiful with an open layout and plenty of space. The location is literally a short walk to the beach to enjoy the ocean. The property manager was courteous and kind, answering any questions I had about our stay. We loved our stay and plan to come back.

Lovely Beach House

Lovely family vacation with the beach right down the street. One hiccup with the listing stating there was a hot tub when there was not. The owner fixed it when made aware and offered to try to make it right. The house was great.

Excellent property!

The house was clean and comfortable. Location was great as it is a two minute drive to the beach and you don’t have to cross a major road. The house fit six of us and it could have easily accommodated two more. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location on Crystal Beach

This was a nice, clean house with convenient location near big store. It has a really good kitchen setup with nice fridge. One of the biggest surprises/selling points was the AC, that was frosty cold even in heat of day. Some of the other houses we have rented couldn't keep up with heat. We had one minor concern that was handled promptly by owner/property manager.

What a great property! Nice accommodations, CLEAN, perfect location, and the property manager, Angela, made the whole stay easy and seamless with great communication throughout. If you are looking for a Galveston getaway, you can't go wrong. We had an amazing time.

We looked for festivals along the coast & noticed the Crab Festival one spring and thought let's go check it out.

1. Close to Beach
2. Quit neighborhood

Now mind you we visit many beaches along the Texas coast and like each one. The Bolivar Peninsula was different & we fell in love with it. It's not like many beach towns that are commercialized and overbuilt, and most businesses are local mom & pops. Everyone is so friendly and there are many fun things to do & see.

We especially like the wiener dog races during crab fest, so much fun.

One of the pictures that intrigued us when deciding to travel for the first time had beaches full of seashells. I never thought I would be a beachcomber, but I am one now. LOL

Crystal Beach is centrally located, and the beach entrance is just at the end of our street. It is close to the Big store, gas stations, restaurants, water parks and many more activities.
