This property was THE perfect place to stay with only a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the ferry if you wanted to go to Galveston for the day. Everything was thought of in the design. They even included a plug and charging port beside every side of every bed. The covered patio upstairs was a great place to hang out with a nice view of the beach and, a few days later after too much sun, there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out in the shade downstairs which included porch swings and picnic tables. We had a great time and will probably try to stay there again if we are in the area.

This was a charming house the pictures are true to the house view. The AC worked great along with the fridge. Short walk to beach the swings are a beautiful relaxing touch. The grill is a nice size and worked well, our kids, my husband and I enjoyed ourselves we would highly recommend this place!

Great time with family

We had an amazing time ringing in the new year at the beach. The house was clean and spacious with a deck view of the ocean. The owners were so kind and helpful. The peninsula had many great places to eat and a nice beach for the family. We will visit again!

Great Location

The proximity to the beach was fantastic. We had the best time and it was plenty big enough for 8 of us to enjoy. Dorothy was quick to let us know of a water issue beyond her control. The water dept got it fixed quickly and it didn’t stop us from any fun.

Perfect pre-summer getaway

We stayed in Bolivar 5 years ago to enjoy a quiet beach before the craze of summer beach goers and wanted to bring our kids back for the same experience. This home was the perfect spot. It is a short walk to the beach. The neighbors are quiet and the beach was peaceful-no loud parties or late night noise. The home had everything we needed and is very spacious. Loved it!
