First trip to Punta Mita

This resort is amazing! We really really enjoyed it. It's great for teenagers because they can roam around and do their own thing and you can feel safe about them. The property we stayed in was really beautiful and Nancy, The housekeeper was absolutely wonderful! Super, super kind and hard-working.

Beachfront condo close to town and with housekeeper/ cook

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the second floor beach front condo. Nancy was an excellent cook and made our breakfasts and lunches daily and kept the condo tidy. The location can’t be beat. Itis close to the Hacienda de Mita beach club and is a short walk to the gate into town for restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and enjoyed hearing the sound of the waves. Highly recommend this condo.

Wonderful condo for our 4 adults and 2 kiddos. Exactly as advertised. 2nd floor overlooking pool and beach. 5 minute walk into town and most restaurants. Concierge Ivan was great.

Wonderful

We could not have picked a better place to stay! The Condo was beautiful with ocean views and a pool steps away. It was a quick walk into Town with wonderful restaurants. Access to 5 beach clubs, Wow! The Concierge service and Housekeeper left us with little to do but enjoy our time. I have already recommended this Condo to several family and friends. It was spacious, clean and amazing views.

Perfect Location

We had a great time at this perfectly located beach front condo. It doesn't get much better than sitting in the infiniti pool or eating breakfast on the patio while overlooking the ocean. It was a short walk from the condo to the local beachfront restaurants which made going out at night pleasurable. I recommend getting the owners chef (Julio) to cook breakfast and lunch. What a great place get relax!

Wonderful get away

Overall a wonderful experience for my family. The cooks were wonderful. The property was very well managed and manicured. Our house was cleaned every day and completely felt relaxed without a worry in the world. Our concierge was prompt with responses , helped schedule all of our dinner reservations and very knowledgeable about the area. Our first of many times for sure!

Great escape for sun, surf and piece of mind.

Traveled to Punta de Mita with my family last year. Hacienda de mita was beautiful and the property offers everything you could want in a vacation. We ate most of our meals on the outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. There is a great surf break literally 100 yards from the condo and we had our own private pool all week long. The owners and Paco were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning to escape the cold Chicago winters for some sun, surf and fun!

Fabulous Vacation

We loved staying in the Villa! Accommodations were excellent and just as pictured... Clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is gorgeous in the mornings during sunrise and watching the whales jumping in the afternoon. Great area for paddle boarding and surfing, not so great beach walking because it is a little rocky, but we found many other fun activities to do. Golfing was amazing and definitley would make reservations as Sufis for dinner. We also loved the Chef Julio and Laura the housekeeper was wonderful. We would absolutely go back!

Perfect for families!

We have 4 children and it is often a challenge to find accommodations and activities that work for everyone. The view was beautiful and the large balcony facing the ocean was "the family room" for down time. We were able to hire the señora who takes care of the unit to watch our youngest one, who mostly stayed in the pool with friends she met, and the rest of us went scuba diving, whale watching, and paddle boarding. All of us were very comfortable and you just can't beat sleeping with the windows open and hearing the sound of the waves.

Fall Break vacation

My family rented this property with another family for fall break. We loved Punta Mita and will definitely be back, but we would not stay here. The place was "ok" a little run down. We were supposed to have a housekeeper and cook. For some reason, they ended up being the same person so neither job was done very well. We never had enough food and when we would ask for more, she seemed annoyed. We also had picked out meals for breakfast and lunch beforehand, but pretty much were cooked the same thing every morning (our meal choices for breakfast were ignored) and again never enough. There were even times our husbands were golfing and we still didn't have enough food! The meals we did have were ok, but not great. Rarely were there sides and never a dessert. We were supposed to have 2 golf carts, but the bigger one was always broken down and we often had to wait around for a replacement. The concierge was nice, but would nickle and dime us for everything, maybe that is the way it is there! The location was good, but the beach was very rocky and couldn't really be used. We went to Kapuri Beach Club and that was awesome! We took a boat ride on Chicas Locas and which was also great, I highly recommend it! We were told we had to pay a premium to rent in October as this was supposed to be a "busy time". That could not have been further from the truth. It was totally empty; a perfect time of year to go to Punta Mita.

Classic luxury

Location: Beautiful condo within the gated enclave of Punta Mita Resort, and is very well located to pool, beach, and the access gate to the beach strip of the little village of Punta Mita, where you will find some excellent restaurants - Mina, Lobster Paradise and Tuna Blanca, among others - which were about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the condo. The cost was much better than eating at the Four Seasons or St. Regis, and the food and beachfront settings were terrific and festive. Condo: The two master bedrooms are large and well appointed. The third bedroom has two double beds (not queens), and the bath and bedroom is much smaller than the masters. The fourth bedroom with the bunk bed is really more of a utility room with a very small bathroom where you can smell the cleaning supplies. This condo is better suited for two couples and four children, or two couples, two single adults (sharing the double bedroom) and 2 children (bunk bed). While the place is beautiful, it is in need of some TLC and maintenance with items in need of repair. Beach Clubs and Getting Around: The beach clubs are beautiful - we loved the Kupuri Beach Club, and it was great having the golf cart to get around. If you do not rent a car, and people in your group have different activities planned, you may want to rent an extra golf cart to get around the resort. Staff: Two of the best things about this visit were Nancy, our cook and housekeeper, and Ivan, our concierge. Nancy was excellent in keeping the place clean and tidy, and made excellent meals. Ivan booked a whale watching/snorkel trip to the Marietas Islands, on site massages, pickle ball and dinner reservations, and helped connect us to contacts for tee times and COVID tests. He was great about checking in with us everyday, and very responsive to questions and requests. Warning: We had never been to Mexico, and rented a van. I would recommend you use a car service to get to Punta Mita instead. On our way back to the airport, a cop pulled us over falsely accusing us of running a red light. We were an obvious target - 7 tourists with a load of suitcases under time constraints to get to the airport. We ended up having to give the police officer some cash in order to make our flight.

PERFECT 10!

We have stayed in this unit in the past during winter and spring weeks and loved it. We were hesitant to come during the summer months. What a nice surprise!. I loved the temperature of the ocean and the amazing thunder storm shows we got to enjoy at night. The unit looks fantastic and the amenities in Punta Mita keep getting better. Lucero spoiled us with her amazing cooking. We will be back for sure.

The developer of Hacienda de Mita is a good friend. He gave me the option to buy this unit very early on the construction process.
I picked this one because is on building #3 (best located bld) and left side of the building , meaning much wider view angle. I like being beach front and on second floor so I don't have to use the elevator, but without sacrificing privacy (that ground floor units lack).
