Nuestra cabaña ha sido renovada con mucho amor y es un lugar encantador. Muy fácil, limpio y fresco. Es imposible no tener el momento más relajante aquí: brillante, alegre y cómodo. Es un lugar dulce cerca de la playa. Un lugar para relajarse, para ver a los niños que van en bicicleta a clases de tenis o familias que desfilan por la playa.

Loved staying in Goose Rocks. Enjoyed being in a neighborhood off the tourist route. Julie provided list of places to explore as well fabulous restaurants to try. The cottage is very comfortable and well provisioned. Highly recommend it!

Cute, rustic and very clean cottage just minutes from the beach. Nothing fancy but perfect for our weekend stay. A bit chilly with the dropping temperatures but everything else was great. Cottage in quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at this bright, clean, cozy, and cheerful home on a large, private lot. Taking a hot outdoor shower with great water pressure on a cool fall night was really relaxing. The home’s location within short walking distance to GRB was a huge plus. We highly recommend this home!

Cozy Getaway

The cottage had everything we needed and was warm, cozy and inviting. It was also super clean with great natural light, easy walk to the beach, and very quiet neighborhood. Loved our stay.

Great House

For a small house, the common areas are well designed, large, and open. Great dining area and living room. Close walk to the beach. Owner responds quickly to any questions. A classic Goose Rocks cottage.

September stay

My husband, 5 yo daughter and I stayed here for a wedding we were attending. The location is perfect, so close to the best beach in Southern ME. They provided a lot of items to make the stay comfortable. There were 2 things that we really didn’t enjoy. One was arriving on vacation and having to make our own beds. Bit of a pain. And the bed size and comfort, could have really used a queen bed and updated mattress in the primary bedroom.

Hi Sandy, Thank you for your thoughtful response. It’s standard all over Southern Maine for non hotel stays, as you were made aware - sheets are not provided. Arriving late surely made it challenging for you all. We’ve never had a complaint about the mattress but certainly will take your suggestion into consideration. It was unfortunate you changed your mind after you’d booked and were obviously disappointed from the beginning of your stay. We’d be happy to have you back for another visit as all our guests have been delighted to stay at our cottage!

Lovely Little Cottage

We enjoyed our stay here with our family of five. It was on the smaller side, especially with younger children, but suitable for what we needed as we spent the majority of the time on the beach! The neighborhood was very quiet and family-oriented. We enjoyed riding our bikes around. Everything was neat and clean. Some of the appliances/kitchenware could use an upgrade and the bathroom sink was a little wonky. The owner is very responsive to any issues. If you come with younger kids, I'd recommend bringing some games to play!

Delightful beach cottage!

A charming cottage for a family of 4 or 5 to enjoy! The decor is updated and “beach fresh” while maintaining the cottage’s original charm. Excellent location for a short walk to the beach or to the community center for tennis/playground. The outdoor shower has great water pressure and hot/cold levers to regulate temperature to your liking. The only downside is that the cottage does not have A/C and on very hot days, it does get stuffy even with the fans running. But the good news is that the house is filled with windows so if you open them, the ocean breezes cool things down at night.

Lovely rustic spot!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is in a corner lot and has a nice little backyard space. Perfect for grilling out and letting the kids run wild. The walk to the beach couldn't be easier. We really liked how the tide moved in and out so far because it meant that there is a lot of flat beach space. Additionally, the breeze you get off the water is perfect and you can hear the ocean in the background at night which is the best sleep generator I can think of. The inside of the house has smallish bedrooms, but they're just for sleeping anyways so it's fine. The open kitchen makes the living and dining areas feel spacious. We didn't use the outdoor shower, but it looked nice and well maintained so that's a useful extra shower to have. I liked that the house is tucked into a residential neighborhood with small streets and basically no thru traffic. Just be sure to stock up on groceries or any shopping items because it's a 15ish minute drive back to the shopping area. There is a general store that's walkable, but it's basically got 7-11 type supplies. The Tide Inn has a nice restaurant and bar if you just want to chill out with a drink.

Perfect Maine Cottage

This is really a great property, it is very clean and well maintained. The house is family owned and they were so willing to work with us when booking our vacation. We had such a fantastic time and it was just perfect for us. The house looks just like it does in the pictures and is just a short walk from the gorgeous Goose Rocks Beach, and so worth it. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful little cottage, We look forward to many more years!

Prime Location for Families!

My family has been vacationing here for many years, but this is the first time we've stayed at this locale. This charming cottage is a prime location for young families! Just a skip away from the gorgeous white sands of Goose Rocks Beach, and a step away from a bustling Community House that provides endless activities for young and old. A (VERY) clean, bright and cozy summer home, we were very comfortable here......see you in the summer of 2013!

Very Enjoyable Week

The cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean on arrival and more spacious than pictures do justice. The owners have done a lot to update in the last year or so and it shows. We were very pleased. Location was fabulous, sort of in between the community center and the beach. Outdoor shower is ideal for cleaning toys, chairs, boards and people!

fun in the sun!!

My family has stayed in this cottage every summer for the past few years. The location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. My young children have a blast riding their bikes to the beach. The cottage is also close to the Community House, where you can play tennis or the kids can use the playground. The cottage is exceptionally clean with a comfortable living room, the kitchen/dining area is bright and sunny. The large dining table allows for plenty of seating, perfect for a large family, bright and sunny,this is an amazing vacation spot that we look forward to coming back again.

We are New Englanders, our parents arrived at Goose Rocks in the 50's and built our cottage. We have happily and gratefully been coming here, now for 4 generations, from Massachusetts and Calif. every summer. This is the place for friends and families to reconnect, relax together... and apart - our true sentimental home. Also ... to eat as many lobsters and as much of E's blueberry pies as possible!

Our cottage has been lovingly & lightly upgraded & is just a delightful place! Very clean, & bright. It's impossible not to have absolutely the most relaxing time here. A sweet spot & a short walk to the beach. A place to unwind, to watch the kids toddling on their bikes to tennis lessons at the nearby Community House or families parading by to the beach.

A short walk to the 3 mile long beautiful, white sandy, Goose Rocks Beach, one of the finest beaches in N.E.. Magical Timber Island anchors one end, a place to navigate onto at low tide. The protected beach is a perfect area for kayaking, swimming - young & older alike enjoy the safe surf for all water activities.
Located around the corner from the Community House - see how it came to land on this site via a ride on the Atlantic. It's a central meeting place for all things summer - kids tennis, swimming lessons, & lots of activities for the whole family. The convenient General Store (still has movie rentals!) & blueberry muffins, is a quick bike ride along he beach. There are plenty of gorgeous spots to spread out to from the cottage.
