Seaview Sunset - Close to beaches & restaurants!

The Seaview Sunset is a cute, stylish, and clean apartment located in the heart of the neighborhood known by locals as South O. Our sea-side neighborhood is Oceanside’s most beloved area due to it’s relaxing and laid back vibe and it’s countless local restaurants, breweries, and cafes, many of which are within walking distance of our apartment.

Come stay at the Seaview Sunset and enjoy the beach, amazing weather, beautiful sunsets from our private deck, local foods and drinks, and much more!

The Seaview Sunset is a chic apartment with a clean and updated style. The apartment is located on the second story of a two-story building that was built from the ground up in 2016. The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, a living room with a smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating, and a stylish master bedroom with a dresser, closet, and a soft comfortable queen bed. There is also a full fold out sofa bed located in the living room. Outside the front door is a private patio area with a table for two. At the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the front door there is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot water. Beach toys and beach supplies are also located in the shower area.

Guests will have access to the entire apartment as well as the patio located at the the entrance to the apartment. Guests can also access the laundry room on the bottom floor. There is a large paver area below that guest can see from the the apartment but that will not be accessible for use as it belongs to a different unit.

Our neighborhood is a quiet but convenient spot in the heart of South Oceanside. We are surrounded by nice and respectful neighbors and we ask that our guests show that same respect to them. There is plenty of street parking available right out front for the guests.

The Seaview Sunset is a quick walk from one of Oceanside`s favorites, Buccaneer Beach & Park. Buccaneer Beach is a popular beach destination for Oceanside locals and just on the other side of the street is Buccaneer Park, which has basketball courts, picnic tables, wide open grass, and a complete play structure for the kids. The home is also within walking distance of many excellent food options, cafes, and local shops.

We can interact with our guests as much or as little as desired. Guests are encouraged to contact us by phone with any questions or concerns at anytime. We will be nearby and ready to provide maintenance or help to our guests (in person) if needed. We want our guests to have the best stay possible and we are willing to do what it takes to make that happen!

South Oceanside has a wide variety of fun, from good restaurants, local events, beautiful beaches, the Oceanside Marina, the Sunset Market on Thursdays, and parks.

In addition, the location is awesome for trips to Disneyland, Legoland, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Padres Petco Park, Del Mar Horse Races and Concerts, Del Mar Fair, Anaheim Stadium, Sea World, Balboa Park, many theme parks, and water parks.

A car is recommended for this property. There is plenty of space to park in front of the house. The oceanside train station is also located nearby providing service up and down the coast, even up to Los Angeles and beyond. It`s perfect for trips to downtown San Diego!

*Our apartment is across the street from the train tracks. This train runs along the whole coast of San Diego`s North County. There is a station a mile and a half away from the house which provides convenient access to San Diego`s downtown area, various other beach towns, and even Los Angeles. Fortunately, Oceanside just added additional safety measures to all crossings, which in turn allowed the City to be designated as a `Quiet Zone.` This means that passing trains no longer use their horns and therefore train noise is very minimal. Any previous reviews that mention loud trains were before this quiet zone was enacted.

**There is a heater but no AC! We get a great breeze living close to the ocean and the apartment usually stays very cool!

***All parking is street parking. No garage or driveway. There is usually plenty of street parking for guests!
-Quiet time after 10 PM and we ask that guests are respectful of our downstairs renters!
-***If you are a young group, please inquire first. I allow young groups situationally but please understand I live on property and DO NOT allow underage drinking or rowdiness so if you can`t agree to this, my home is not a good fit for you.

RENTAL RULES

1. Smoking is not allowed on the property. No exceptions.
2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth at booking may not stay overnight in the property without prior approval. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
3. The house is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6. NO PETS ARE PERMITTED AT ANY TIME.
7. Parking: Vehicles are to be parked on the street. No parking is permitted on the street on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month (street sweeper). Any illegally parked cars are subject to fines; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. PLEASE READ POSTED STREET SIGNS UPON ARRIVAL FOR CURRENT PARKING INFORMATION AND EXACT STREET SWEEPING TIMES.
8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house other than beach towels which must be returned. You will be charged for any missing or ruined bedding, pillows, or towels.
9. Water and Septic: The water is a soft water filter system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products, baby wipes, OR EVEN FLUSHABLE WIPES should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products or anything not other than toilet paper have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $250 for scoping and cleaning.
10. Storms: If there is a storm or inclement weather, no refunds will be given.
11. DO NOT USE ANY LAUNDRY DETERGENT OTHER THAN THOSE LABELED HIGH EFFICIENCY (he). It will ruin the machine and we will take the full deposit if this happens and require you pay for the machine in its entirety.
12. Shake off all sand before washing anything in the machines. Sand RUINS OUR MACHINES. We live on site and will know if you are washing towels or anything with sand in it. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A BIG FEE IF THERE IS SAND IN LAUNDRY ROOM OR MACHINES.
13. Do not put anything in the dishwasher that is not dishwasher safe. Some kitchen items are labeled as not safe for dishwasher. Hand wash those items.
13. Also, do not put any regular soap in dishwasher. This includes dish soap. Only use the dishwasher pods provided.
14. You will be charged for any dents or damage caused to anything in the home. Including brand new appliances.

Enjoyed the location and amenities. Easy walk to the beaches, and to local coffee shop and brewery. Laid back community, SoCal vide. Easy traffic to Oceanside Pier and down south to other beach communities.Highly recommend.

Cozy and cute

Place was super cute, great supply of cooking pans, pots, and utensils. Beach chairs were nice, outdoor show took a little bit to get warm, but once it did, it was great. Couch is super comfy, the Apple TV and access to Netflix was great for our relax time between trips out. WiFi worked quite well. The folding chairs for the dining table weren’t easy to fold up to put away, and the coffee table was a bit heavy to move to open up the sofa bed. The sofa bed mattress would have been very uncomfortable for me as an adult but my son seemed to sleep fine on it. (I could feel every bar under the mattress. The bedroom mattress is FIRM so take that into account. I can understand why people have complained about the parking. It’s street parking and even while we were staying in the “off season” we found it hard to park close a few times. More than once someone parked with their vehicle touching ours on one side and I had to do a many, many point turn to get out of the spot. Overall we loved our stay here! Lots of stuff convenient
