Get groovy and make memories at this 70's inspired family-friendly home that takes you back in time!
3 bedrooms decorated to remind you of your grandma's house with a bit more funk!

Close to RTP, RDU, UNC and Duke! This is a great location for anywhere you need to go in the triangle.

There are 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths:

The primary bedroom has queen size bed for the most retro of jungle kings and queens. Attached full bath and plenty of closet space.

2nd bedroom dubbed 'The Yellow Room' contains a double bed in the bright happy space that gives off all the flower power vibes.

The 'Mushroom Room' has two twin beds and if you can dig it, then you'll be set in this space!

The half bath is located in the hallway and connects to the full bath for a secondary access to the shower.

We are activity improving and updating as time allows so new exciting changes may occur before your stay, but don't worry- all changes will be even more groovy than what is there now!

The decor is intended to bring you back to the 1970's and honor the original owners who had this house built in 1979. Why stay in another home that looks like the rest when you can experience an abundance of floral, velvet and a lava lamp or two.

We welcome well trained dogs in this space for a fee of $50 per stay. We ask that you only bring dogs that are very well behaved and not left alone for long periods of time. Any damage incurred will be charged to the primary renter. We have a fully fenced back yard to allow space to run and play. *To help our guests during the holiday season- all pets stay FREE in Dec & Jan!

There is a dinning table for 4 set up but if you need seating for 6, a leaf and chairs can easily be added.

We are updating the house everyday it is not booked so more fun touches and amenities will be added before your stay! If you have any specific needs, please let us know before arrival so we can be sure it is on site!

We had a fantastic stay at this groovy place. The space was perfect for our Thanksgiving stay. We stayed with our three adult children and 8 lb. Morkie dog. The yard was perfect and the space was just right. The host was excellent with communication and the house was very clean.

If you are of an age that remembers harvest gold and avocado green, this is the place for you! Beautiful quiet neighborhood, comfy beds and really cute decor. It was wonderful to hang out with family and watch football! Plenty of great restaurants and interesting sights with easy access.

A step back into the 70s. The perfect place to stay while celebrating the life of a dear friend from that era. Clean , neat and comfortable. Accessible for one of our group with limited mobility.

Cute and Quiet

We really enjoyed visiting this house because it was such a central location. It's basically 15 minutes away from anything you'd want to do in Durham or Chapel Hill. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owners were responsive but respectful of our privacy.

Cute decor with lots of extras

Good communication, cute decor, our kids enjoyed the air hockey table, basketballs in the garage, and the yard. Well stocked with small touches like candy dishes. Great location for visiting Durham and Raleigh. Very clean. Beds slept a little warm for spring weather.

Cute place

The house was very cute, my teenage girls enjoyed the decor. Response was great, only issue I had was the AC decided to go out and somehow they were already set up for an inside unit. We came back to the house after a very HOT day outside only to come back VERY hot place.Requested some sort of compensation but host felt there was no need for any type of refund.

Surgery stay

My wife and i were in a real situation with our daughters surgery being canceled on a friday and moved to the following monday. We had to be out of our other house rental on monday morning and we were also watching 3 dogs. I came across this property and took a shot to rent it. We could not have been more pleased. The property owner was extremely pleasant to work with, very accommodating letting us check in early on monday. The house was fantastic and clean, and most important the dogs loved the entire fenced in back yard. Anyone traveling with dogs this property should be at the top of the list because of the huge back yard that is completely fenced in for the animals to run around in.

We loved our stay. The location is great, the place is super cute, we appreciated all of the attention to detail to keep the place era appropriate. The owners were very responsive when I reached out. We would definitely stay here again. One reason I chose this place was because it didn't feel like a sterile hotel room, like some house rentals we've done (and hated) We appreciated the actual ground coffee and not keurigs!
