This visit was canceled before they stayed due to an AC issue. We made sure guest knew before they came and agreed to make different arrangements. Especially since it was extremely hot days. We’re not sure why a four star when there was no physical stay. We definitely try to make it the best stay we can for guests and don’t mind if we lose the reservation for their comfort.

Triste was such a gracious host and “the nest” is a darling and very comfortable place to kick back and relax and get an awesome nights rest. It’s close enough to surrounding urban areas to go out and enjoy shopping, dining, and other activities and a great place to retreat from the hustle and bustle when the day (or night) is done.

Excellent stay!

We stayed at "the nest" for our celebration weekend. My husband came home from a one year deployment and we came down to visit our daughter at Clemson for parents weekend. The nest was sparkling clean and well equipped with lots of little extras. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any messages we sent. We were comfortable and happy :) Highly recommend!!

Great weekend Stay

Cute little apartment and perfect for our family of 3. We cooked most of our meals so the kitchen was stocked well. Wish we'd been able to take more advantage of the properties amenities, but we had a long weekend of rain. Cable tv was nice, but the internet access was not great and had poor cell service as well. We bought some of our own toys/books, but they did have those in the apartment as well which was nice. Bedrooms were a great size and bathroom was clean, and nice towels were provided. Plenty of extra linens as well. Took advantage of the washer/dryer since we had wet clothes from the rain.

All It Claims to Be and More!

Definitely a 5 star rating from me, and my son concurs. From booking to check-in/checkout, it was a breeze. I was immediately impressed with how clean and welcoming it was when we entered. A sign with a warm greeting was strategically placed for us to see as we opened the door. It was a personal touch. Not every home on the rental sites is as pictured, and this leads to disappointment. "The Nest" was such a pleasant surprise and especially appreciated after a 12 hour drive. So clean and well thought out; the beds were comfortable, and honestly, above average. I appreciated the quality of the bedding and the special touches that made the bedrooms inviting and relaxing. The only thing I missed was a full length mirror to assess my appearance before going out in public. This by far was my favorite "home away from home", and I would definitely stay again without hesitation. The host is incredibly responsive and goes above and beyond any expectations I might have had. Top notch! Truly relaxing and restful after busy days of hiking and taking in area waterfalls. A peaceful environment tucked away but easily accessible, too. Excellent in every way!
