La casa OBX con vista al mar se encuentra a solo 500 pies de la playa con vistas tanto del océano como del sonido, especialmente desde el paseo de las viudas.

Si no estás preparado para el océano, relájate en la piscina de 16 x 32 pies y en la bañera de hidromasaje para 6 personas. Después de nadar, enjuague en la ducha exterior de agua caliente en el Carport ubicado fuera del nivel inferior de la sala de estar con muebles nuevos. Los niños y los "jóvenes de corazón" pueden acceder de inmediato al televisor, el minibar, la nevera, el microondas y el estéreo aquí. Hay acceso a la terraza en 3 lados, incluido un porche con mesa de comedor con vistas a la zona de la piscina. También puede relajarse y disfrutar de la cena en la gran mesa de comedor de 10 asientos o en el área de mostrador para 6 personas. Slice of heaven on the beach

Couldn’t have had a better stay. The house was amazing, just a block from the beach. Great porches to view sunrises and sun sets. Great location in Corolla. One of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at.

Great Family Vacation

Our Family had such a great vacation at this lovely home. The layout was perfect for each segment of the family to have their own space. Weather was not cooperative, but we made the best of it by enjoying the pool (heated) and hot tub. It was our first time in the area, and we loved it. The home had all the amenities we needed and I can envision us renting there again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.

OBX Whalehead drive

944 Whalehead Dr was perfect for our family. Easy walk to beach, great pool and hot tub. Lots of room for all. We brought a baby gate for the stairs from the living room, which was helpful. Would have appreciated having more gates in the house as we had a 15 month old.

Great location - close to public beach access

Overall we had a wonderful time staying at this home. It is a bit run down from the wear and tear from being a rental home and the interior was mostly clean albeit quite outdated. The exterior could use a good power washing & fresh paint as there was a lot of webs etc. throughout. But we had an absoltely wonderful time here and felt comfortable with the accomodations as listed by the owner. The proximity to the beach was our favorite part as we could walk to the beach within a couple of minutes which was so great having some younger kids with us. We would happily stay here again.

Great Rental!

A Wave From It All was a wonderful rental for our group. The location is close to the access path for a quick walk to the beach. The house was clean, well-maintained, and very well stocked for all of your food and drink preparation needs! The pool was a great size for our group of 14 and had a variety of seating options. The description said charcoal grill but there was a propane grill (that needed quite a bit of TLC) there too when we arrived. The only thing we wish it had was a better view of the ocean and maybe a pool table for an indoor activity. Shoreline OBX was a great rental agency to work with. They were very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions/issues. We would definitely consider staying in this house again in the future.

Very pretty house - liked having bedrooms on all three levels. Very convenient to beach!

Great time! House was perfect for two families with teenagers. Just disappointed no kerig for coffee. Old coffee pot but no liners and propane ran out of gas for the grill. Other than that loved the house!

A week at "For Friends"

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was clean and well equipped with newer appliances. Access to the beach was convenient. Although the weather wasn't what we had hoped for, we managed to swim in the heated pool almost every morning.

Family beach vacation

Nice house for the whole family and pups to spread out and enjoy. Short walk to the beach, there were a lot of steps to get to the beach that could prove challenging for older guest. Towels and lines were provide which is definitely a plus, there weren’t any dish towels in the kitchen but we made due. Kitchen was roomy for multiple cooks and bakers at once. Over all my family had a great time and enjoyed the house very much. Another successful OBX vacation in the books.

Family beach vacation

Comfortable home suited our family very well. Kids loved swimming in the pool after a day at the beach. We loved riding our bikes around and the neighborhood ice cream truck. Seafood boil was one of the best dinners we had of the week. Kitchen had more than what we needed. It would have been nice if the lawn was mowed. Saw that some of the neighbors have nice lawns and volleyball sets…that would have been nice. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect spot for two or three families with young kids.

The location of this home in proximity to the beach was perfect. The house itself was incredibly clean and well kept. While there were three active floors to the home… It was easy to navigate for our two year olds without assistance. Carpeted stairs with easy to grab railings meant that adults weren’t chasing the children up and downstairs the entire time. The kitchen had every cooking utensil and pot and pan we might have needed- probably more so (crock pot, electric griddles, stock pots, crab hammers…etc.) The communication about checking in early and checking out of the property was spot on. We would happily rent this home again. :)

Great location!

This was a great house for our family. We loved the location near the walkway to the beach entrance. Pros: pool and hot tub were great, pool chairs and furniture was plastic, but it was functional and plenty of chairs available, kitchen tools/cookware was adequate, nice to have both gas and charcoal grill options, enjoyed the screened-in porch, great decks and crow's nest for views, family room/dining area had enough chairs, good wifi. Cons: some maintenance issues (dryer vent blocked, some drains clogged when we arrived, loose board on deck step - Shoreline OBX maintenance responded the next day after contacted), mattresses need replacing, loose tile near front door, not all stove burners working, Direct TV access was limited to 3 TVs at a time (even though all master bedrooms had TVs) so not all TVs were functional when most wanted to relax and watch at night. Overall we had a nice week.

The house was clean, but starting to show some wear. The pool deck was filthy, and the pool heater wasn't on. My husband turned the heater on the Sunday after we arrived and turned it off before we left. The pool was never serviced during the week. The grill was unusable. There were full ashtrays all over the pool deck, and there were no deck umbrellas. There were two broken chairs on the screened in porch. We have rented the house for six years And although these were some of the items we feel weren't up to par, we enjoyed our week in comfortable surroundings.

Almost a "gem"

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house could be a 5 star if it had a thorough beginning of the peak season/spring cleaning. The mounds of dust on the toilet paper holders, window frames and sills and grease and dust on top of the refrigerator are just a few examples that the house had not had a deep cleaning in quite a while. Windows could be wiped as well. We found other "cleaning" issues when we arrived, however when we contacted the agency, prompt attention was given to our immediate requests and needs - minus the deep cleaning. We had to rent a gas grill because the 2 there are charcoal and very outdated and dirty. the top floor bathroom shower doors are off the track and the toilet sticks sometimes, but nothing we couldn't live with for a week. The house is conveniently located to the beach, however unless you carry your beach cart up and down the many steps to get over the dunes, you'll have to leave it at the beginning of the steps.

The house is in need of repair. Nails popped up on stairs and decking. Tvs in bedrooms too small. I never got to watch tv in my room because other people were watching TV. Apparently in this house you can only watch a certain number of TVs at one time. This present a problem as it rain three days of our week. The dishwasher wasn't working and then finally completely broke

Great Week at the Beach

We had a great time, it was a great location super close to the beach path and a short drive away from shopping, restaurants and water sports. The house itself was clean, the linens could use an upgrade for sure and clean chairs to sit on on the deck would have been ideal (it wasn’t worth calling about this, we just brought up our beach chairs). And the lack of toilet paper when we got there was a little chaotic (I forgot to pack mine so it was on us, but having a few rolls there would have made it easier after the long car trip). Overall it was great, a good size, a lot of outdoor space, pool was awesome and we had a great time,

Property was clean. Great location. Booked online and email reminders and notifications were excellent.
