Sugar Beach is a South Walton neighborhood that resembles a tropical paradise, featuring lush landscaping throughout the community. All homes are just a short walk from a beautiful lagoon-shaped pool. The pool area is accessed through a gated, covered pergola, offering an elegant entrance with restroom facilities and showers for convenience. The sun-soaked pool patio is surrounded by tropical palm trees, providing a relaxing atmosphere for lounging. In addition to the community pool, the stunning crystalline white beach is just a short distance away. A public access point on Scenic 30A leads you to the shimmering shoreline and the emerald-toned waters of the Gulf, offering a perfect coastal retreat.

“The Big Chill” is the community center for Prominence and is a quick 10-minute bike ride from your home or a 1.6-mile drive.  The Big Chill offers something for folks of all ages and tastes, from tacos and tequila to wings, burgers, and shakes, a stop here is quick, tasty, and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. 

Seaside is a short drive away and is most widely known for being featured in The Truman Show with Jim Carrey. It's incredible architecture has helped to make it famous and it's a faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has a Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater, and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine, and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous. There are activities for everyone: kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
