Washer/dryer and gas grill. New appliances/cabinets. Dock access. Perfect for fisherman.Just a short, easy access to 157 and 124, friendly towns of Marion, Goreville, and Creal Springs. Local attractions include but not limited to 3 lake marinas, local restaurants, and many wonderful Southern Illinois wineries.

Location was great and host was responsive. Location was clean and fit perfect for us. I would come back. So many deer that were not afraid of humans during this time which was fun to see. Only feedback is the grill. We went to use it but it was quite rusty and it wouldn’t come off. The grills may need to be updated.

We absolutely loved this lake house! So very clean and decorated beautifully. The deck was lovely to sit and have coffee in the mornings. Beds were comfortable. The house was full of amenities. We are talking about coming back next summer just for fun to enjoy the lake and house.

Overall, good value for the price. You enter on the upper level of the house that inludes two bedrooms and one bathroom. Downstairs is the living and kitchen area. The deck is off the lower level of the house. It's large and accommodating. We enjoyed watching wildlife while sitting out there. There's a lot of stairs down to the shallow dock. Lake levels were low when we visited. Can't swim off the dock as there's no ladder and it's shallow there. We were able to bring our jet boat into the dock. Backing out is narrow and tough. We enjoyed using the kayaks provided, too.

Excellent lake stay

Spent early Thanksgiving with family. We had a wonderful time. Everything was very nice and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer.

So beautiful

This place was better than the pictures! Had a feeling that we needed to book this place before the end of “pretty color” season. A very quick decision for me as im usually a 3-months advanced planner lol. We went to Garden of the Gods, Ferne Clyffe State Park, and Great City State Park. Perfect place to see the changing leaves and feel the breeze while sitting on literal fossils. Used the kitchen and there’s everything you need + more. Thanks!!!

Beautiful Lake of Egypt

This is a perfect little place to stay. Everything was set up very nice. Clean and comfortable. Town close for getting anything you might need or forgot. I would recommend.

Nice little lake house.

A very nice little lake house located on Lake Egypt in Southern Illinois. Very peaceful setting. With a two bedroom lake house. House has a large enclosed porch and a large outdoor deck with a furor adjacent. Property has a small boat dock perfect for docking a small boat or launching kayaks or a canoe.. The house was clean and well maintained.

Great place on the lake with a private covered dock

We had a great stay on lake of Egypt. The house was clean, had everything we could need and having our own covered boat dock was the best! The back deck is large for entertaining or just chilling with a great view of the water

Fun place, just right

Brad and Tracy are generous and acccomodating hosts. We enjoyed renting a boat and touring the Lake, taking a day trip out to Garden of the Gods, and loved returning home to a clean, well air-conditioned and well decorated place to call a temporary "home". Brad and Tracy met our needs while also letting us do our thing and their neighbors were equally nice. It was just right for us. Wish we could have stayed an extra day! We will return next year!

Relaxing space

My daughter and I stayed here for a few days to rest, relax and catch up. It was the perfect space. We really enjoyed the large deck under a canopy of trees and afternoon swims in the lake. Brad was a lovely host, making sure that we had all we needed to make our stay prefect.

Perfect lake getaway

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at this property. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, the property decor was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and the beds were soooo comfortable. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the deck and using the gas grill to cook and fishing off the dock. The kids enjoyed using the water trampoline. Brad was easy to get ahold of and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this spot to anyone.

Yearly fishing trip

This is the third year in a row that we have stayed with Brad. The place just gets better every year. Always clean, perfect location, and you can't beat Brad as a host.

Cozy Cabin with a Great Lake View

Thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay in this cozy lakeview cabin! Queen bed in master was comfortable and the couch and great closet space were bonuses! The gas fireplace downstairs kept us toasty and added a great ambiance to the lightly falling snow outside. The electric fireplace on the covered porch was great too! The kitchen was well-equipped for making several meals and the washer and dryer were handy as well. Enjoyed watching the sun come up over the lake in the mornings. Several great restaurants and shopping within 15-20 minutes (we liked Thai-D, Bennie’s, The Vault, and Crown Brew Coffee).

Great place to stay.

Nice place on the water. Especially if you have a boat. The covered dock was a plus to be able to park my boat and just jump on and go. Also decent privacy from neighbors which is a plus.
