Bienvenido a Hawk Mountain Lodge ... revisa tu teléfono celular en la puerta y comienza una semana o mes de relajación que solo has soñado. Encienda los registros de gas en la piedra, gran salón chimenea; ponga música suave o simplemente escuche el sonido de las campanas de viento en su temporada ... Si no puede dejar atrás la televisión, entonces tenemos una pantalla plana de 32 "y 2 sofás acogedores para ver sus películas favoritas o leer ese libro ¡Has estado esperando leer durante un mes! Esta casa es ideal para aquellos que prefieren vivir en un nivel, con 3 dormitorios y 2 1/2 baños. El principal tiene una pantalla plana de 32 "y su propio baño privado con lujosas sábanas y una cama queen que es realmente adecuada para una reina ... ¿quién podría pedir más? La habitación de invitados de la gran sala tiene un pico en el lago desde la ventana panorámica, ¡con un excelente rincón de lectura y reposapiés! También en la habitación de invitados hay un gran escritorio para esas tareas "si debe trabajar". El tercer dormitorio tiene una pared de estantes con libros y TV también. Una gran altura, cama de nogal antiguo con ropa de cama y edredón acolchado hacen que sea una necesidad para el viajero cansado. Un sofá cama doble extraíble funciona muy bien para un niño pequeño adicional. La cocina tiene una estufa / horno inoxidable, eléctrica y refrigerador. Un horno de microondas y un lavaplatos terminan la cocina que se encuentra junto al comedor con una mesa de granja y una chimenea a leña. Dos paredes de ventanas dan a las montañas y la exuberante vegetación debajo ... el porche trasero tiene una nueva mesa de patio con cojines y mecedoras de ramas para que la familia disfrute. Vierta una copa o dos de vino, encienda la parrilla de gas y deje que comiencen todos los recuerdos ...

We had a great Thanksgiving holiday here. The house is dated and needs some fixing but overall it was a very comfortable place to stay for my family.

Very comforting and nostalgic. The deck in the rear is great for morning coffee and grilling in the evening. Large kitchen and dining & gathering area right off kitchen. There is a flight of stairs we gated off with the gate we brought. The fur-kid loved the fenced yard. Great stay - totally recommend.

Exactly what we needed

Classy, comfortable, cozy quiet mountain home. Great location with many hiking opportunities close by. Or just sit on the deck with your favorite coffee and enjoy the view. Great host. Very attentive to any questions I had. Would not hesitate to visit again.

Lovely stay at this house on Hawk Mountain Road. We had family staying at another place on the lake and we used this house to accommodate 6 of our family members. The location was ideal. The deck is lovely, with 2 chaise lounges and a dining table and a BBQ. We had a slight problem with the refrigerator and freezer when we checked in, but Hazel's team was very responsive and the problem was resolved by the next morning.My only suggestions would be to further stock the kitchen with more appliances (blender, mixer, new toaster oven) and perhaps more general baking items.My favorite thing was they left us the garage door remote, making coming in to the house easy on dark nights.

Lovely mountain home

We stayed for 10 days in July. It is a lovely mountain home, in a very quiet neighborhood. You are relatively secluded from neighbors but close to lake Toxaway. The house is equipped well. We missed a couple kitchen utensils as we cooked our entire stay but found it completely workable. The rear porch is very spacious and the view is beautiful, we enjoyed eating out there. The large grill worked great. Overall, highly recommend.

Amazing Views at Hawk Mountain Lodge

My husband and I had a very lovely 6 week stay at Hawk Mountain Lodge to escape the summer heat of southwest Florida. We spent most of our time on the large back deck and the views were ever changing and absolutely stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. The hummingbirds were very entertaining and the surrounding trees made us feel as if we were in a rainforest. The neighborhood and people we encountered were all very nice and we felt comfortable walking our dog each day. Although the home is very dated and needs a bit of refreshing (ahem, pink bathroom with bidet and all) we found it to be homey and it suited our needs. The kitchen was large and stocked with plenty of cookware and utensils. The grill on the deck is new and cooks very nicely. All Our golden retriever enjoyed the fenced yard below the deck. All appliances are on the older side and a bit loud, but functioning. The only negative was the bed situation. Of the 3 beds we had to choose from, only one was comfortable enough to sleep on. Unfortunately, it was in the only room without a TV. In a home of that size and price point, a nice king bed in the primary bedroom really would have been appreciated. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for some R&R.

Escape the heat

Two couples shared this lovely property and had plenty of room and comfort. We loved the very large, covered porch with its mountain view. Hummers and birds found their well-stocked feeders and we enjoyed the show. Huge wind chimes sang to us. A new gas grill worked just right. The internet was dependable. One fact to know is that this kitchen does not have extras like spices, oil, or other pantry staples so make sure to bring what you need if you’re cooking. There’s an upscale wine, cheese, meats, prepared foods market nearby but full grocery stores are in Brevard or Cashiers. We ate at The Grand Station, Villa Amato, The Falls Cafe, Panthertown Cafe, Whiteside Brewery. Each meal was quite good. We hiked at Gorges State Park and visited Looking Glass and Whitewater Falls. Very good week!

Lifetime memories were created here

This was our first family trip to NC and absolutely loved staying in this cabin. Everyone, including two small fur babies very much enjoyed our vacation and our temporary home for the week. Karen was an absolute sweetheart and was extremely helpful with some slight issues we had during out stay. The roads leading up to this secluded cabin can be a little s at at first but them you'll learn to love the location. I fell in love with Lake Toxaway and it's surrounding towns. I will definitely consider coming back again, as long as they upgrade the mattress which was a little too soft and worn out lol. Other than that, the cabin was very cute and comfortable. Could use a little update and refresh but was still adorable regardless. Thanks for allowing us to create a lifetime of memories!

Incredibly Comfortable and Peaceful Cabin Home

The home sits up high, like a tree fort, and is nestled into the forest, making it feel like you are in the forest itself when you sit on the back porch. It's a well laid out home that allows people to pick their bedrooms and affords privacy if desired while also having a super breakfast nook, kitchen, dining room, and cathedral-ceiling living room. You can all converge in these common rooms and have a blast! The windows let light in and the views are of the forest and the incredible mountains in the distance. We loved the house because the focus is on comfort and unwinding and just enjoying the sounds of the birds or the leaves rustling in the wind. It's also an amazingly convenient location to use as base camp. Lake Toxaway offers boat rentals and the Greystone Inn serves awesome food. Cashiers is down the road. Go gem mining or lazy river tubing on the French Broad! Gorges State Park is super close and don't miss out on Whitewater Falls. We saw White Squirrels on Brevard College's campus and fell in love with them! Brevard has great restaurants and some nice shops plus Blast from the Past makes the BEST fudge on Planet Earth! We also drove to Asheville and toured the Biltmore Estate and did another day trip to Chimney Rock and made it to the top. We loved this home and the property management team at Hazel Fisher & Associates. And we want to say thank you to the property owner and to everyone we had contact with. Wonderful, Clean House with Beautiful Views

My family and I loved staying at Hawk Lodge! This lovely home was very clean and comfortable, and we loved being surrounded by such incredible views. The property manager was very responsive and helpful, and she made the check-in and check-out process very easy. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this beautiful home!

Beautiful Mountain Top Lodge

This home is the perfect base camp for all of the local hiking and activities available on and around Lake Toxaway. There are beautiful and challenging hikes starting from the driveway. Huge back deck for napping, BBQ'ing and bird watching. We will be returning again, soon.

This is a beautiful, well maintained property!

The best feature of this rental property is its location!It well surpassed our expectations and we do plan to rent again, if it is available. It is a beautifully decorated home with lake views(living room) and Blue Ridge Mountain views(kitchen, dining rooms and back yard deck). At night our family prepared fantastic meals and watched the sunset. The kitchen had every convenience you could possibly need. The washer and dryer located next to the kitchen, came in handy after a day of hiking. We went to Asheville(Biltmore, dining) and Cashiers(shopping, dining) and rafting on the Nantahala River. Brevard ha some great restaurants and Brewery's. Convenient grocery stores and roadside vegetable/fruit stands made cooking a breeze. The beds and linens were brand new and comfortable, which is very important to my family, as a good nights sleep is a priority. I would highly recommend this rental property to anyone who wants to relax and get away, but still have the comforts of home. Thank you for a wonderful week!
