Las semanas de verano comienzan del 9 de junio al final de agosto. Alquile solo semanas en ese momento a 8900 más impuestos y limpieza. 650 es la tasa diaria durante la temporada baja. TAMBIÉN no puedo alquilar más de un año de antelación. Si bien esto es caso por caso, los inquilinos de este año pueden comprometerse o no durante su semana de este año para el próximo. Si eligen no regresar, se abre por orden de llegada.

Esta casa es alquilada por mí directamente. Esta casa es de propiedad privada y nos enorgullece tratar con inquilinos directamente. Nos sentimos muy bendecidos de compartir este regalo con ustedes. Precios de temporada alta en 8900 más un impuesto de NC del 12% y una tarifa de limpieza de 150 dólares desde el 9 de junio hasta el Día del Trabajo. Great house with lots of room. Definitely needs a new cleaning agent.

The house was perfect for 18 people. The pool and pool deck is awesome for a large group. The house was dirty - did not look like it had been cleaned since last renters. We had to clean things in the house before using.

WOW!!!

We had a family of 17, teenagers and up. This house had ample room for our crew plus some. The house is absolutely spectacular, gorgeous views, and the deck and pool area are exceptional. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. The owners are great to work with, you just cannot go wrong with this rental.

Roaches, Roaches and more Roaches!!

This house was infested with roaches and we were treated absolutely terrible by the owner!! The house is very nice and great location but you couldn't pay me to stay at this place again because of the way we were treated by The owner Dr. Carroll Young. Dr Young acted like it was our problem to deal with and he did not want to be bothered!! Dr Young also told us that he did not care if we left cause he had 10 other people who wanted to rent the place. Don't give this man your money!!!

overall bad experience with owner

Although the property was decent although it was not fully cleaned when we arrived and smelled a bit like cat urine, we had a rocky encounter with the owner. Before day of arrival I had not been informed there would be no linens. When I asked the owner about renting she said we could just use hers as long as we started to throw them in the laundry and did as much as we could before leaving. I thought this was a reasonable request and was very gracious. When it came time to leave we did as much as we could before the detergent ran out. About 3 weeks later I get a nasty text from her calling us rude and disrespectful for not finishing the laundry when we couldn't do anymore without detergent and having to leave. She continued to say we would never be coming back to OIB because she was going to tarnish our name? It was so bad I had to block her number. So with that being said just be wary of going to contact the owner if you need something.

As advertised

Just checked out of this rental after a 4 night stay over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We had a group of 17 ages 4-70. This rental was perfect for our large group. Every room has a private bath and that was priceless! We read the details of the property and the reviews thoroughly so we got exactly what we expected. Property advertises to bring your own linens, towels, toilet paper etc several times. We brung ours so there were no issues! We catered our meals so we didnt do any cooking. There is plenty of stuff for you to use to cook with if you wish. There is lots seating for big groups and plenty of space on the balcony and pool deck! We read the reviews and expected the worse. The reviews say that the property needed to be cleaned at check in so we brought stuff to clean at check in. We didn’t need them for the most part. No abnormal cleaning was needed. Just your regular Lysol spraying and Clorox wiping that you do at every rental. To our shock there was a pile of dog feces on the upstairs balcony. Not sure how the cleaners missed that. We were definitely angry at that. I messaged the owner about it and never heard back. I wasn’t shocked that they didn’t respond because of the reviews. All in all we could tell several issues that reviewers brought up had been resolved. You can tell the rental is heavily used in the summer. There are things that are broken throughout the house. But just note it and move on. The broken items didn’t impact our stay.

Would not recommend - HAVE NEVER experienced anything like this!!

The house was EXTREMELY dirty upon check-in.The refrigerators were not wiped out and had food spilled in them as well as the microwave. None of the tables (end tables, nightstands, etc.) had been dusted. We spent 2 hours upon check-in just getting the house to a point where it felt halfway decent. The bedding was dirty in at least 2 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms actually had potato chips under the comforter when we pulled it back to put sheets on the bed. The oceanfront master had what appeared to be a pee stain on the bed spread. The floors were sandy and dirty and there was a thick layer of dust under all beds. We mopped the kitchen and down the first-floor hallway and the water was BLACK when we dumped it. The toilet in one of the downstairs baths did not work and had to be constantly repaired. The worst issue we faced was the upstairs air not working on our first day (Saturday) and this did not get fixed until Wednesday. The temperature upstairs reached 80 degrees!!! We were told by the owner that “whining, fussing and complaining solves nothing”! We replaced the batteries in the thermostat and put new filters in all the returns to try and correct the problem ourselves. The AC repair company came out 3 times and was finally fixed on Wednesday afternoon. We had numerous belittling messages from the owner when we would text him with the issues we were experiencing. One message stated, “it wasn’t a problem prior to your arrival”! The last AC repair main stated that the main electrical wire going into the unit in the attic was corroded. So obviously it was nothing we, the renters, did, as was insinuated from the owner. There were also other issues – broken handle on the freezer of the black refrigerator, ants in the front window, mold in showers, sliding door downstairs onto the deck was extremely hard to open, etc. In the middle of the week, we had the silverware drawer facing fall partially off when we were opening it. It appeared the handle either had been repaired before or was installed with too short of a screw. The owner sent us a picture of this after we had checked out and said, “This was not caused by normal wear and tear, but he would take care of it.” We did nothing to cause this drawer facing to come off and showed this house more TLC while we were there. We also had to ask numerous times to get the Wi-Fi password. The owner refused any type of partial refund of the rental amount or even refunding the cleaning fee. Very Disappointed!

Our time at intensive care was just what the doctor ordered. Relaxing, enjoyable and a great time had by all. Had a few little issues but they were handled quickly. We would definitely go back again. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us.

Great Family Vacation Place

This house is a great place for a group to stay. The nine bedrooms each with their own bath worked out great for us. There is plenty of space to be together and also space to be apart. Having two refrigerators was great for us because we used one for drinks and one for food. We cooked in most days because we have great cooks in our family. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary cooking gear including knives. The separate ice machine kept us in ice all week without having to buy ice. There was plenty of space to sit down for a meal together. The pool and deck area was large and allowed enough space to set up our "corn hole" game. There were also plenty of pool chairs available. The water was a bit too cold in the pool because of our early stay (2nd week of May) but not too cold for dangling our feet. I am sure with the temperatures projected the following week it would be plenty warm. We saw dolphins every day from the covered porch. One of our family caught a nice sized Whiting off the beach. The beach was nearly deserted which was wonderful. Even on the weekend, it wasn't too crowded. As with all beach properties there was some wear and tear and maintenance chores but none that impaired our time spent there. The hosts were responsive and flexible with us which we greatly appreciated. The ocean front views overlooking the pool deck area were great. We had a wonderful time and would definitely visit again.

"Intensive Care" needs some TLC

This is a well laid-out house in a great location. However, the other reviews are accurate. The house needs some much needed TLC. Handles are broken on doors and the freezer, some sliding glass doors refused to open, the dishwasher drawers didn't seem to fit, we had to fix three of the toilets in the house so they could be used. The water from the fridge was supposed to be filtered, but came out cloudy and tasted awful. Most interesting was the new ice maker that wouldn't fit in the hole in the cabinet, so it was just left in the middle of the kitchen.

This house was awesome the whole family loved it. The pool was a big hit with the little kids. The water was to cold for the adults but to be expected for April. The only thing that would of made it better is if the pool was heated. The weather was great

Nice House-Needs Maintenance-Owner Poor Communication

To be clear I had a wonderful wedding weekend, I did appreciate that this was a 9br 9bath home with a large deck. When I first arrived at the property, I had to contact someone on the check in procedure because no information was provided beforehand. Once I entered the home, I noticed that there were fingerprints all over the appliances, the microwave door was broken, the inside of the microwave was very dirty, the oven refrigerator were dirty and missing freezer door handle, the pool was dirty, as I went into each room there was dirty Linen in each closet, that is NINE BEDROOMS. I contacted Ms. Stephanie who only replied, "Sorry you are going through that". Well, there is a cleaning fee attached to this property that I paid, so I promptly took pictures and sent to Ms. Stephanie to ask for a refund of the cleaning fee, since I would need to clean the entire house myself. I proceeded to clean and remove the dirty linens from each room, it took me about two hours to clean before my guest would arrive. I received a text from Ms. Stephanie that Mr. Carol would not be refunding the cleaning fee and that if I wanted to discuss it with him to call him and she supplied me with a number. I called the number he did not answer so I sent a text, saying that I thought it was only fair to refund the cleaning fee since I was the one cleaning the house. Mr. Carol claimed that the cleaners did not get finished because I wanted an early check in. I checked in maybe a 1 1/2 hrs early, there was not even a sign of cleaning at ALL, no clean smell, no wiped down counters, and like I said there was dirty linens in EVERY closet!!! Mr. Carol chose not to refund the cleaning fee which I believe was unfair, not customer friendly and not business like, especially knowing that pictures were taken, and I spent my own time cleaning. This was my Wedding Weekend and I decided not to argue and bring any bad energy to my day. I did not appreciate that I was not respected as a consumer when dealing with Mr. Carol, he was short with every response, and never spoke to me over the phone. The property had many other maintenance issues such as the balcony doors were old and rusty and one of the rooms the door was twisted and broken and needed to be open forcibly. You may say well -why not just leave it dirty when you leave? That is not the proper way to do things I left Mr. Carol's house CLEANER than what I found it. I even left my cleaning products, garbage bags, and a new dustpan.

Great Location

Quality much lower than expected based on the pictures. Property was not cleaned prior to arrival which caused us to clean the entire place before really unpacking. Several items were broken or not working properly. Kitchen was equipped with 2 refrdgerator/freezers, but one of the freezers was not usable. Linens and blankets just thrown into closets in piles. Discovered clothing items in closets and when making up beds. Discovered empty and half filled soda bottles under furniture. I actually fixed pendent lights in kitchen which had come away from the ceiling and almost falling apart at the light fixture. An overall disappointment based on expectations from the pictures, but we made it work. I did inform the owner of most of the issues we discovered and she did promptly apologize. The property needs a lot of TLC to get it back in shape.

Great Location, Needs Improving

The location on the beach, and amazing pool deck made this place irresistible. But the house doors were all extremely difficult to lock and at times even open. We came into the home and there were many problems in the house like with shower doors, spots already on the couches and on bedding, huge lack of good kitchen pot and pans and more. Regardless, we loved our time here due to the pool deck, the beach and great company. We enjoyed our time so much that we reached out to extend our stay and never got a response from house owner still to this day, even though we stayed there 2 weeks ago. Luckily, we aren’t a picky group but if you are looking for a clean and put together house, maybe checkout another rental home.

Spacious beach house but needs some updating

We enjoyed using this beach house for the weekend but it needs some updates and a thorough cleaning. Upon arrival we immediately washed some of the bed spreads and recleaned some showers. Some the mattresses and pillows really need to be replaced. Huge stains, no mattress covers, etc. Its such a great house - so spacious, great location but it needs to be kept up better.

Fabulous Family Vacation

Perfect for Family Getaway

Plenty of room for our extended family to spread out and enjoy the week at the beach. Everyone appreciated having their own space but there was also plenty of room to hang out together. The 2 refrigerators & separate ice maker were so amazing to have! The pool & easy beach access was perfect. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful House

We had a great stay at this house. The location was perfect. Nice pool and large deck with plenty of seating. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved Ocean Isle would definitely consider revisiting in the future.

Great space and amazing views!!! We loved the location and having the pool deck overlook the beach was amazing because we could watch the kids play on the beach from the deck. Loved the beach and gorgeous sunrises!!

Fantastic House!

This property was perfect for our family of 14’s annual beach vacation. The layout and space was very functional and no one was on top of one another. The fact that every bedroom has its own bathroom was so excellent. We didn’t want for anything in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend this home and will be back again!
