❗IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please know that the following is included in your price: Our cleaning fee includes both the cost of professional cleaning upon departure and the following items: White, fresh linens for each bed, made up prior to your arrival. A fluffy, white bath towel for each potential guest, as well as two washcloths. A hand towel for each bathroom sink. A bathmat for each shower/tub. Kitchen towels are supplied.
Amenities kits including eco-friendly products: dish soap, dish detergent, dish sponge, laundry detergent, shampoos, conditioners, body and hand soaps.
A roll of paper towels for the kitchen. Bath tissue for each bathroom.
Mandatory damage waiver, taxes, and processing fee are also included in your total.
Note* Please know that amenities items are not necessarily meant to be supplied for the entire length of your stay, but helpful products in case you forget or run out!
Age Requirement: Guests under 25 must receive pre-approval.
Smoke-Free Environment: All Pier 42 Properties are smoke-free zones.
Pets are not permitted unless otherwise authorized at this property. Failure to acquire proper authorization will incur additional fees.
Safety First: Fire pits and deep fryers are prohibited to ensure guest safety.
POOL HEATING is optional. Please inquire before reserving if you plan to have the pool heated.
Ample parking for up to 5 vehicles.
❌CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid excluding the `admin fee` if you notify Pier 42 Realty & Vacations in writing (by email or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within sixty (60) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 60 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Pier 42 Realty & Vacation Rentals. Admin fees are non-refundable. Check in is at 4 pm and Check out is at 10 am
Unauthorized late check-outs will incur additional fees.
When leaving the property, please make sure that all doors and windows are closed/locked.
Please make sure that all appliances are turned off (stove, television, iron, etc.)
Please set the thermostat accordingly: Please do not set the thermostat below 73 in the summer season or above 73 in the winter season.
No unauthorized pets on the property.
There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.
No diving or glass containers in the pool area.
Elevator use: The elevator is for transporting a person(s) from one floor to another. Please do not utilize the elevator to transport groceries or luggage without person(s) in the elevator. Children are not permitted to utilize the elevator alone. Adult supervision is required. Ensure person(s) utilizing the elevator have a mobile phone on them during elevator use. Close accordion and main doors tightly on all levels. Do not attempt to open elevator doors prior to the call light turning off.
Smoking, vaping or recreational drug use is not permitted on the property.
Underage drinking is not permitted.
Please respect neighbors by keeping noise levels at a minimum, particularly in the late evening until morning.
Report any damage or maintenance issues to the property management company immediately.
Our properties are individually owned, so please respect them as if they were your own.
Do not exceed the maximum capacity for parking spaces.
Do not jump from balconies, windows, or furniture.
Be cautious of areas with steps or tripping hazards.

Family vacation 2025
We enjoyed our family vacation. The location was across the street from the beach, walking distance to shops and eating places. We saw fireworks from our deck on July 4th. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit Ocean Isle Beach again.

Fall Break Getaway
Sea Grit is a beautiful property located in a prime spot - gorgeous views, across from the entrance to the beach, close to restaurants, putt putt and grocery stores...we had a fantastic time! The layout was perfect for adults on 3rd floor and teens on the 2nd, so much space to socialize together and apart, would definitely come back.

This is a beautiful house in an excellent location, but upkeep is lacking. Shortly before arrival we were notified that the garage doors and code pad were not working. The fact that keys were left in a lock box indicates that the keypad had not been working for a while. The chlorine in the pool kept going too high, requiring 3 trips by the pool company. The grill near the pool had a multi-year buildup of grease and burned meat. We used it once but not again. The picture on line of the beach chairs and pool and sand toys is completely fraudulent. I guess it was taken when the house opened a few years ago. Today, the fabric on the chairs is shot, and the aluminum is highly pitted. In fact 3 chairs collapsed on the beach from normal use. The toys have been heavily used, have never been cleaned, and are all missing parts and pieces. We used none. Several of the bathroom doors are pocket doors and were very difficult to operate. Finally, one night around midnight, the door bell started ringing every two minutes. A call to the management company suggested that this problem had occurred before and was attributed to the Ring door bell which was loosely attached. I had to detach the leads on the doorbell using a kitchen knife since we did not have screwdrivers so people could sleep. Very disruptive. Overall, this was the poorest maintained and prepared beach house in 40 years of renting along the NC coast. Save your money and choose another house.

We take feedback seriously and did our best to rectify each of your various complaints, including ones we received via phone call at midnight.
The pool is typically serviced 3x a week. We had the pool vendor there promptly by 8 AM the same day of your phone call to rectify the situation. You were notified of the keyless entry prior to your arrival, multiple keys were made available due to the situation. The ring camera has not had an issue in 2.5 years that the property has been rented, as mentioned on the call at midnight. We offered to send someone out if you were unable to disconnect it, which you were, so we addressed reconnect upon your departure. Once reconnected, we experienced no issues. We also received poor feedback on the twin bedding, the lighting in the house (we were asked to install blinds) both of which we have not received a complaint about previously - & this property is typically at 100% capacity each summer. In regards to the grill, we offered to send someone out to rectify the situation. Without approval, we still had new grill utensils delivered and different bedding for the twin sheets. The beach chairs and toys are in great condition. Upon your departure, we did dispose of 1 broken boogie board. There is a plethora of sand buckets, shovels, beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs (purchased at the beginning of the season) ping pong, basketball, volleyball, etc.
