We chose this neighborhood for our vacation rental because it perfectly embodies the quiet, laid-back charm of Old Florida, a hidden gem away from the crowds. Nestled on the north end of Pine Island, this area offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to modern conveniences and outdoor adventures.
One of the biggest draws is its proximity to several marinas, making it ideal for boating enthusiasts. Whether guests want to launch their own boat or rent one nearby, they can easily explore pristine waters, hidden islands, and world-class fishing spots. With some of Florida’s best inshore and offshore fishing just minutes away, this location is a paradise for anglers of all levels.
Beyond the water, the neighborhood retains an authentic, unspoiled charm, free from high-rises and heavy development. The relaxed island vibe, combined with friendly locals and a strong sense of community, makes this the perfect spot for visitors looking to experience Florida the way it used to be.
For us, it was the ideal mix, a peaceful escape with access to incredible outdoor activities, making it the perfect destination for a vacation rental.
