Esta es la delicia de los pescadores. Además de permanecer en la casa con las vistas más hermosas del atardecer en Pine Island, está justo al otro lado de la calle desde el mejor lugar en Pine Island para lanzar kayaks o simplemente salir a pescar. También está a poca distancia del puerto deportivo de Pineland. La casa también se encuentra en el antiguo canal del indio Calusa justo detrás de los montículos del indio Calusa, hay un parque estatal establecido en los últimos 5 años que tiene un divertido sendero para caminar, hay varios plackards que explican la historia de las personas que vivieron aquí 500 hace años que. El paseo por la naturaleza recorre aproximadamente media milla 50 yardas detrás de la casa. Cuando camines por los jardines sentirás que retrocediste en el tiempo. Una vez más, también se encuentra en la casa que se encuentra en primera fila con las puestas de sol más bonitas de Pine Island. El kayak doble y la vieja plataforma de windsurf vienen con el alquiler de la casa, solo se requiere un pequeño depósito adicional para su uso, que se le devolverá.

Perfect location!

With best sunset view on the island in front, and historic Calusa trails in back, this was the perfect location on Pine Island. House was well equipped,and clean. Will return!

Beautiful spot for a reasonable price

Wonderful location. Clean house with a pool.table and acess to the nature trail and kayak drop in . The home makes u feel like your in the 70s - very cool. Will stay again.

Spectacular setting house unchanged from 1970

The location was wonderful. The house and furnishing are unchanged from 1970s. If you are fussy you would not be happy.

Best Sunset Ever

My family stayed here while my son played in a baseball tournament. It was great to have a home that we could play pool, darts and watch the sunset together when we weren't at the ball diamond. We had a great time and we were grateful to be able to keep our dogs with us. Thank you for a great stay!

Property was as promised. Communication with owner was easy and very open. We loved the open space for the kids to spread out. The house had everything we needed and the A/C was very cold. We brought the dog who had a great time exploring the huge back yard and chasing bunnies in the front yard. There was plenty of room for the boat and trailer in the front yard. Across the street is a great little spot for watching the sunsets or you can walk up the street to the marina and enjoy from the tiki on the water. The food at the marina food truck was very good as well! I've already shared this place with fishing buddies for a boys trip in the future as it is a great location. We even used the charcoal grill for burgers one evening and had a blast! Pine Island is off the beaten path but a fishermans dream! Highly recommended!!FYI, Eagles Nest Restaurant on the island is pet friendly and had the best smoked wings and smoked pork tacos!!

Wonderful

Rich is a wonderful landlord. The view is perfect and it is in such a nice neighborhood with a wonderful restaurant within walking distance. This is not for beach lovers, but it is perfect for quiet beauty, biking and kayaking.

Best view on the Island

Older home, but very well built and maintained. Local neighbors were friendly and Informative. Owner always kept communication. Perks were kayak, golf cart, bicycles, beautiful views.

Unbeatable View!

Very comfortable property overlooking the water with peaceful backyard that backs right up to the Calusa Heritage Trail. Large game room with a great pool table, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen. Pine Island is very old Florida with a peaceful, restful vibe. The.view from the living room of the water is amazing! Our host was very responsive.

Pine island long weekend getaway

My wife & I along with brother in-law & his wife and their old dog enjoyed a great fishing long weekend. Great location walking distance to Tarpon house restaurant and Freedom boat club location in Pineland. Kayak fishing across the street from house was awesome. House itself is very clean. The furnishings etc are dated and not fancy but perfect for a low key getaway. Beds were comfy. Kitchen well equiped. The Calusa trails right behind the house were great. Lots of birds. Old style Florida at its best.

Beautiful sunsets

Home is nice and well equipped with everything you need. It truly makes you feel comfortable and “at home”. The neighborhood is quiet and the view out the living window is incredible. We saw bald eagles, cranes, ibis, and a very rare orange spoonbill feeding just across the street.. There were also two bunnies hanging out in the backyard and one of the biggest avocado trees I’ve seen. The owner was wonderful, very accommodating, and communication was prompt. If you want hustle and bustle, this is not the place for you. However, if you want to relax, fish, and enjoy the environment, you will love it! Thank you, Rich for sharing you home!

Wonderful location and view was perfect for outdoor garden wedding event and honeymoon after

Beautiful neighborhood, amazing views!

We had a wonderful stay here! We celebrated our 34th Anniv here! The house is lovely and well stocked! We were able to use the Kayak and golf cart once, wish we had used them more! Played lots of pool. Enjoyed morning tea and bagels on the front lawn watching the birds at the water! Did I say we loved the Amazing views and sunsets!!! Also, I was so happy to see real drapes in the King Room, it made it nice and dark overnight and early am, hard to find these days for a light sleeper! Thank you Rich for sharing your house with us! We were hoping to come back end of Sept/Beg Oct but it seems it's already booked :(

Not perfect but amazing

This home is showing it's age in spots but Rich was not lying when he says that it has the best views around. We loved this place and we hope to stay there again!

Fun Getaway

In a quiet neighborhood you’ll find this spacious house that has fantastic views in both the front and back with friendlies all over, house is well equipped and could use a bit of maintence throughout. We enjoy the house and location.

My grandfather built this house as a fishermans getaway from his North Carolina based business in a different era.

It is located on the ideal location of Pine Island, with water access a beautiful sunset view and walking distance from what was then a very remote Marina in which he was a part owner.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Since the Calusa trail has been constructed this house directly between this historic reservation and the water. Because this home was so well constructed it stood tall and strong under the wrath of Hurricane Charlie while most all of the newer homes didn't fair as well.
