Relaxing, spacious, clean home for you to enjoy while exploring all that CO Springs has to offer. Located off of Powers Blvd, with endless shopping and dining options. Explore Garden of the Gods, The Incline, Palmer Park, and much more! Easy access to CO Springs airport.

The space
The layout of the home features a large, open kitchen, a dining area, living room with 2 large couches and TV, and 2 spacious bedrooms - a master with bath and king bed, and one with a Queen bed. There is also a large bonus room equipped with a desk for working remotely, and a hallway bathroom. The house has lots of natural light, as well as plenty of artificial lighting options, side lamps for reading, and lots of places for plugging in chargers and other devices.

The home is very clean, quiet, uncluttered, and peaceful. We want our guests to feel at home and experience an easy, relaxed stay. We work very hard to keep our space clean and comfortable for you, and we are best suited for guests that will respect the space and treat it as if it was their own.


OUTDOOR SPACE:
Backyard includes a fully fenced and dog friendly yard, complete with covered, comfortable outdoor dining area and porch swing. Spring through Fall, there is a lovely firepit with chairs, perfect for making s’mores or gathering around and enjoying the evening. Note that in the winter, the patio furniture and swing are available, but the fire pit is put away as to avoid snow/water damage.

LIVING ROOM:
2 very comfy couches with pillows and blanket to keep you warm and comfortable. Large windows in living room offer a beautiful view of the sunset and the mountains. Large screen smart TV is ready for you to login to and watch all of your favorite shows. There is a large bookcase in the living room with a library of books that you are welcome to enjoy during your stay! If staying in and relaxing is what you are looking forward to, this is a great place for you!

KITCHEN + DINING:
Large, modern, updated kitchen ready for you to cook all of your meals! We have baking sheets, mixing bowls, a small blender, measuring cups, pots, pans, knife set, cooling trays…all of the essentials. There is a large dining table with 6 chairs, and there are also 4 bar style chairs at the kitchen island if you prefer a more casual setting. The pantry provides some basics such as salt, pepper, and cooking spray. We left tons of cabinet space open for you to put your own food items in and make yourselves at home. Kitchen is equipped with a large stove top, oven, dishwasher, large fridge, and microwave. We also provide a toaster and drip coffee maker. Coffee grounds, filters, creamer, and sugar packets will be available for you - no worries about running to the grocery store right away for coffee after a long travel day! The kitchen is full of natural light and is a great place to spend time.


BEDROOMS:
Master: King-sized bed with fresh linens, and lots of blankets and pillows! We have received lots of compliments on how cozy this bed is! Blinds to keep out the morning light, as well as window coverings to provide some extra comfort. There are 2 closet areas in this room to hang clothes, and there are also drawers for folded items. Extra blankets are in the closet on the top shelf. The master bedroom has an attached full bath with tub!

Guest: Queen-sized memory foam mattress that is sure to give you a good night’s sleep. Extra blanket available in the closet. Large closet with lots of room to unpack and make you feel right at home!

HALLWAY BATHROOM:
Full-sized shower with a handheld shower-head. Fresh towels, hand towels, washcloths, and makeup wipes are provided for your use. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash are provided in both bathrooms for your use, as well as Q-tips and cotton balls.
Guest access
The hosts live on site in the basement apartment. You will have your own entrance, and the only shared space is the backyard. There is no shared indoor space, and you will have complete privacy indoors. Guests do not have access to the driveway or garage. We have 2 very friendly dogs that will sometimes be in the backyard. If they are outside and you would like to use the backyard without getting puppy kisses, simply message us on the app and we will put them inside :)
Other things to note
House Rules

No smoking of any type allowed ANYWHERE on the property. This rule is not negotiable. If you are a smoker, this is probably not the property for you.

NO parties are allowed on the property. NO events allowed.

EXTRA GUESTS: Only the guests that are listed on the reservation are allowed to stay overnight. We allow up to 4 guests on a reservation. If you need to add a guest prior to your stay, the reservation must be updated.

Any daytime visitors must be approved ahead of time and must leave the property no later than 10PM. We do not allow dinner gatherings, large groups of friends coming over, etc. The reason is that we live downstairs, and extra guests most usually means a lot of extra noise. Please be respectful of this request and please message us at time of booking to discuss any questions related to this.

Pets

We are dog friendly, but the pet must be disclosed at time of booking. We charge a $50 flat fee for visitors with pets, as it takes us significantly longer to clean after a dog has visited. If you bring a dog, you are responsible for cleaning up any dog waste in the backyard prior to check out. There is a scooper and trash can in the backyard on the patio. We do not allow cats.

Parking:

Street parking is available for guests. Please do not block the fire hydrant, and do block the driveway or park in the driveway.

NOISE:

We live downstairs, and the floors are thin. Please be mindful and respectful of noise. We will do the same for you!

SNOW:

We do our best to shovel walkways when needed, but sometimes we are out of town. Booking our home in the winter may mean that you need to shovel snow out of the walkway.

Stairs:

Entry to the home requires walking up a short staircase of about 5 stairs. There is a hand rail.
