This property was perfect for our group of six couples. We enjoyed spending time relaxing by the pool, playing games in the evening, and quiet mornings relaxing. It was a perfect home base to explore all areas of the island and conveniently located near Esperanza for dinners out.

Beautiful home

We had an amazing time in Vieques and this home was the perfect setting. It gave us all the space we needed, but lots of areas for family time. It was clean, had comfortable beds, and had everything you needed in the kitchen.

First the Positive: The place is amazing, with fully furnished, clean rooms with beach towels and enough odds/ends to last us the 10 days we were there. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. The view from the place is amazing and all the beaches are close, just as described. Our family of 11 enjoyed the stay for sure.Now... 1. While the internet is supposedly included, we had none the entire time we were there and while some of us didn't care, a few needed it for work. I wrote to the owner who responded that the "Starlink is very reliable and I will check". I heard nothing after that.2. We used the pool most days and had a blast. However, it was quite murky when we got there and very murky a few days later. A pool person came after about 5-days, did some work with chemicals and the filter and said " don't use it for the next day". After that, the pool was excellent and we had a ball in it.3. The following was not an owner problem: But you should know that losing water on Vieques seems to be an on-going issue. We lost water three days before we left. A cistern is in the back of the house and provided water for a day until it also broke down. We were immediately provided several gallons of bottled water which was greatly appreciated. Overall.... a very good vacation and the place is indeed beautiful.

We experienced several issues with the property during our stay, and despite reaching out to the host multiple times, our concerns were either not addressed or we received no response.First, we had an issue with the Wi-Fi and contacted the host right away. They responded by suggesting that it may not have been plugged in. We confirmed that it was plugged in, but we never received any further response. Wi-Fi was listed as an included amenity, but it was unavailable for the entire duration of our stay.Second, we messaged the host about the front gate, which appeared to be broken or off track. It was very difficult to open and close. Our message was never read, and we did not receive a response.Lastly, we contacted the host about issues with the upstairs bathroom in the main villa and the Sevilla suite bathroom. The water was either scorching hot or freezing cold, and it would sometimes shut off completely while showering. We asked for this to be looked at, but again, we received no response.Given the number of unresolved issues we experienced during our stay, including unavailable Wi-Fi, problems with the front gate, and ongoing bathroom water issues, we are requesting a refund or partial refund for the inconvenience and the amenities that were not provided as advertised.
