Ocean Villas # 42 está situado en la isla de Anastasia a sólo 10 minutos del centro histórico. El condominio cuenta con acceso a un grande, de estilo laguna tropical, piscina climatizada con hermosas cascadas que rodean la zona. Perfect Escape from Reality!

This is the perfect location for your St Augustine visit...minutes from downtown, a few steps from the beach and pools. Patty was very attentive! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location, Needs Updating

The location is fantastic. We also enjoyed the pool closest to the beach and I'm sure the other pool is great as well. The condo itself was dirty. My daughter walked around barefoot and her feet were black on the bottom.The shower had mold and the shower curtain liner was very moldy. Pretty much everything needs to be updated. The couch was uncomfortable, the beds were sagging. Every single pillow was lumpy. The air conditioning doesn't reach upstairs and it was so hot it was hard to sleep. And it wasn't very hot out when we visited. The check in process was easy.

Great place to stay

Property was clean, roomy and great location just perfect for what we needed for our wedding on the beach! Only negative we have is we had to search back in our email for the property contract from the owners instead of having all of the information right on the vrbo app that we found the property on. Otherwise our stay was perfect!

Fun Time

Great location, clean, condo has what we needed. Only drawback was temp difference between upstairs and downstairs. Hard to cool upstairs down to comfortable temp. Other than this a great stay!

Ocean Villas 2nd floor unit

Quite nice but basic. This 2 bedroom unit is on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Everything is as it should be and the condominium facilities are first rate.

Working Vacation

We picked this place mainly for being pet friendly and close to the beach. We met some very nice people and the heated swimming pool was a great plus.

Ocean Villas 42

We loved Ocean Villas and look forward to returning next year, but we’ll look for a more updated, cleaner unit. The AC worked great downstairs, but it was hot upstairs, so we were thankful for the fans provided. The twin mattresses were fine, but the king had big dips in it. The balcony chairs and table were rusting and flaking so much that we couldn’t sit outside without getting black flakes on our skin. Also, the door handle is broken so a piece of wood must be used to secure it. There were only a few forks and spoons, so we washed them everyday. Again, not happy with a lot of problems with this unit, but we loved the location, pools, landscaping, beach, and friendly residents.

Not Exactly what I expected

When we arrived the front door was unlocked. Also the front door was difficult to lock wasn’t shimmed properly. I informed the owner but they didn’t seemed concerned. Well to start the cleaning company left debris under the futon couch my child had to sleep on first floor. Both deck doors were missing handles and had pieces of wood to prevent You from opening. It safely. The deck furniture was old. The tvs were both outdated.. The carpet had a lot of dog hair which caused my wife’s allergy problems. The beds were very lumpy and needed mattresses replacement. Many of the pictures shown in location aren’t accurate. The community pools were nice. The beach was gorgeous. Checkout was nightmare we cleaned the apartment better than it was when we arrived. Patty’s cleaning service made up bogus dog poop story in apartment. We had no pets on property. Patty doesn’t like to go through vrbo so she can keep the security deposit. My recommendation don’t rent from her period. They are not honest and don’t provide a safe or caring environment.

Perfect beach stay!

Ocean Villas is the perfect beach stay for a family vacation. This rental was perfect- in the middle of the two pools, close to beach access, and still with an ocean view! Loved the thoughtful touches too! We had a great stay and only wished it had been longer!

Great location

I’m not sure if this this is a condo or townhouse since it’s 2 floors and is a walk up to the front door. Great location to restaurants and shopping. Good views , clean, well cared for grounds and pools. (We only used the back pool near the beach which was an easy trip on the private walk) There is plenty of beach gear to borrow- umbrella, chairs, coolers, and a wagon (better than our own). The condo could use a facelift (all original cabinets and rusted balcony furniture) but very functional. AC seems marginal for upstairs bedrooms and mattresses have seen better days. Overall , a pleasant stay. We would return.

Condo was as advertised. Ocean views/waves, great beach and two pool options all closer than look in photos. Checked all the boxes for a relaxing get away: sun, beach (and pools), seafood, history. Found St.Augustine Beach and St.Augustine are very clean, safe, walkable/bikeable compared to other vacation spots in Florida.

Excellent location, unit needs updating

This condo complex is in an excellent location, and the location was the best part of our stay. We arrived to find that our unit had not been thoroughly cleaned, and there was dog hair everywhere. In addition, there were numerous pet stains on the carpet in the 2nd bedroom. The host (mgmt co) was very responsive when we called them the evening that we arrived. We asked to move to a different location but none were available. They sent someone to clean immediately. We would have appreciated some follow up contact by the mgmt co after the recleaning. The carpet upstairs needs a professional deep cleaning or replacement, and the upstairs bathroom needs to be recaulked. The pull out couch only seats two comfortably while watching tv and is very uncomfortable to sit on. We did not open the pull out. The owner should consider purchasing a larger, comfortable couch and updating the kitchen. The outside furniture on the main floor balcony is in dire need of replacement. The sliding doors do not lock and are secured by wooden poles. The only items in our starter kit were dishwasher tabs, a roll of paper towels, and two rolls of toilet paper so be sure to bring your own dish soap, sponge, hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, extra toilet paper, etc. We are frequent travelers and learned a valuable lesson about booking last minute during a busy time.
