The Space:

Morning light drifts in as ocean views stretch beyond Waikiki’s skyline, while a steady island breeze moves gently through the space. From above the streets below, you can watch the rhythm of the neighborhood unfold, with the beach, cafés, and shops just a short walk away. The setting feels easy and connected, yet comfortably removed when you return at the end of the day.



The space

Located on the 18th floor of Waikiki Banyan Tower 2, this one-bedroom, one-bath rental accommodates up to 4 guests with a layout designed for both shared time and quiet moments. Ocean and city skyline views are visible from both the bedroom and living area, creating a consistent sense of place throughout the home.



Sleeping arrangements

The bedroom is separated by a sliding door and features two queen beds, along with a TV and storage for your belongings. In the living area, a pull-out sleeper sofa offers an additional sleeping option, best suited for children or occasional use. Fresh linens, extra pillows, and blankets are provided to support a restful stay.



Living space

An open layout connects the living area, dining space, and kitchen, making it easy to gather or unwind. A seating area with a sofa and chairs offers a place to relax, while a TV, fast wifi, and an ethernet connection support streaming or remote work. A window AC unit keeps the space comfortable in Waikiki’s warm climate.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen provides a dedicated space for preparing meals, equipped with full-size appliances and everyday essentials. A dining table with seating for four allows you to enjoy meals indoors before heading out to explore the surrounding neighborhood.

Getting around the Waikiki Banyan is easy, with many attractions like Waikiki Beach and Kapiolani Park just a short walk away. The recreation deck at Waikiki Banyan is currently undergoing a complete transformation and is scheduled to officially reopen on May 18, 2026.



Once completed, this will be the largest recreation deck in Waikiki, entirely rebuilt with all-new amenities, landscaping, and furniture. The redesigned space will include:



• A large heated swimming pool

• Three brand-new hot tubs

• A brand-new sauna

• All new loungers and daybeds

• Modern barbecue and grill stations with seating

• A children’s playground

• A full tennis and play court



Everything on the deck will be new, beautifully designed, and ideal for families, couples, and longer stays.

The recreation deck and its amenities are not accessible prior to May 18, 2026. Some daytime construction activity may be present. Rates have already been adjusted accordingly.

Great location! While not a full ocean view, you can see the water and get an idea what conditions are like. Easy walk to many parts of Waikiki. We chose this place partly because the building has a couple of electric vehicle chargers. Only once did we have to wait for availability. We did need to use the adapter provided in our rental car. We didn't get to use the recreation deck but we did know ahead of time that it was under renovation. Should be finished sometime in May. Would stay here again.

This is a great spot to hang your hat while visiting the island. I couldn't find the light switch for the bathroom, reached out and was helped buy the team at Midway. ( fyi the switch is in the bedroom)

Great location, easy access to beach, shops and evening entertainment. Condo was clean and well maintained. Parking on the property was a huge plus for our family as we are always on the go. Easy check in and check out process. We loved our stay.

Good location near the heart of Waikiki, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The parking is a plus and why we chose to stay here. The building is old and when you exit the elevators there is old carpet and there are odors. This unit was clean and the pictures were accurate. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were extremely thin. The couch seemed new and clean and the kitchen was spacious. The patio was nice and comfortable for 2 people.

The laundry room was next to room. Easy parking access. Only bummer was renovation was happening at the resort. but we did know that in advance. Easy walk to beach and lots of restaurants around the down town. Everything listed on the web is on point!! Would definitely stay here again. Management was quick to respond when asked questions. Great all around stay! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this place! The ocean view kept us from ever turning on the tv, beds were comfortable (we stayed 8 nights), always had plenty of hot water for our showers, laundry room was next door, the well-insulated room kept it quiet at night, 5-minute walk to beach, restaurants/food nearby, air conditioning worked great, coffee & breakfast shop on first floor, trash chute nearby, always found a parking space (even late at night). We look forward to our next stay!
