Very cute and comfy beach house. Loved the short walk to the beach. Everything you needed to enjoy a stay at the beach. Nice new washer and dryer. Updated bathroom.Convenient and delicious coffee shop across the street. Beautiful sunset.

My family loved this property so much. The in-unit washer/dryer was incredibly helpful, especially toward the end of the trip. It has a full kitchen, full size refrigerator and basic cooking utensils. Probably the best part is the LOCATION. It is right across from the beach and is a fantastic little stroll to go swimming. I do appreciate that there is a broom and a little mini-vac to help with sand that finds its way inside from the beach. Overall, we had a fantastic time!

We had a nice stay, great location, beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with pots, pans, toaster, coffee/tea. Small parking issue upon arrival but was resolved very quickly. The only thing that would have made this property better would be a couple of beach chairs to make going down and enjoying the beach more comfortable, especially with the price and proximity to the ocean. It was our first time to the area, I inquired about places to rent bikes was given a list I could find in an internet search but lacked personalized ,local knowledge of the area or assistance to obtain the bikes, like delivery. The convenience of having those amenities, especially when flying into town, would make it next level. There are several great restaurants in the area -Santa Maria Barbeque is very good. Pizza and service at Riip brewery was amazing! We found somewhere about a mile away and did a 4 hour bike rental from Mokwheel. They are very friendly , with easy access at the end of the beach trail across PCH. There is a cute restaurant/bar with a view of the marina , Pelican Isle, next door.

We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and saved all year to do something special.I work in the trades and average 50-60hr work weeks. We wanted to have a relaxing quiet time. The first night was good but, The next three nights the downstairs tenants played house music (BOOTS AND PANTS BOOTS AND PANTS BOOM BOOM BOOM) from 7pm to 9am all night. We messaged the AvantStay host and they responded the tenant was only staying one night. Unfortunately that was not the case. The condo had a permanent resident we spoke with and he said he filed a complaint with the owners as well. We received a refund of what would equal one night. We feel this is insufficient attempt for resolution. This literally ruined our trip we saved for all year.

Sunset Surf

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Surf. The unit was clean and comfortable. The location right next to the beach was great. It was also only a short drive to Disneyland. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the Huntington Beach area.

Convenient location and well furnished

The interior is very nicely remodeled. Very close to the beach. I needed to spend my days in Huntington Beach which was easily accessed with the city bus and I walked several days (very nice 5 mile path). Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

We booked this property due to the close proximity to the beach, nice accommodations bike trail and really enjoyed it. Would’ve appreciated having garage space for the bikes to keep them safe and protected. This ended being needed when one of the renters in the condo facility attacked and damaged our bikes. She also ransacked our vehicle, removed documentation and we are still determining what else she stole. We filed a police report. She also insisted our lone parking space designated for our condo unit wasn’t ours to use and parked her vehicle there We weren’t aware that there is a lunatic living downstairs that has many run ins with the other tenant, the law and owner. If we had known this in advance I wouldn’t have booked the property. So I should’ve marked down for communication and honesty. We left early and Avante returned a half day of rental . Seemed to fall short of the impact and damage we sustained. We talked with the owner and she shared the challenges this crazy tenant has caused her. We had similar experiences with tenants in our properties so we understood the unfortunate position she is addressing

Sisters Vacation

The place was very nice and clean. Very relaxing. It said there was 1 bedroom, but it was open. However, that was not a problem. You can actually see the beach and a very short walk to the beach.

Tamiko had a positive experience with the property, appreciating the cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere. While the open bedroom was a bit unexpected, it didn't seem to be an issue for her. Priceless mother and daughter trip

My 84-year-old mother and I enjoyed our stay at Sunset Surf during a visit from Ohio. The property had everything we needed, including a great Nespresso machine and kitchen essentials. The bed was comfortable. The location was so convenient. We especially liked daily walks along the Bolsa Chica State Beach Trail. I felt very safe running by myself along the shore. On our last night, we enjoyed reggae night at SeaLegs at the Beach about two blocks away. Spending quality time making precious memories with my mom while here was such a gift. I would love to stay here again!

Small but nice. Space it utilized well. The beach is right across the parking lot. Just wish there was normal coffee maker or a Keurig. Only had a small Nespresso maker, not really my thing. I had everything else I needed though.

You cannot beat this location! Tiny hiccup with parking but it was handled quickly. There is nothing better in the world than drinking some wine on a patio while listening to the ocean!
